Overview:
Cannabis & Glass is looking for a Corporate Bookkeeper to provide administrative and accounting support for the Finance Department.
This is an entry level position that directly reports to the Accounting Manager.
Job operations will vary from day to day but will have a base routine including bookkeeping, record keeping, record maintenance, as well as various account payable tasks and items that can arise from that. The Bookkeeper will also be responsible for coordinating and ensuring proper billing and invoice practices are being maintained by our various utilities and lessors.
The job will not only include work done with Cannabis & Glass, but with other organizations C&G Management does bookkeeping and record keeping for. Other tasks that can arise at the discretion of the Finance Director or Accounting Manager will be expected to be followed through with professionalism.
Responsibilities:
Take responsibility for accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, utilities, employee incentive transactions, account statement reconciliations and check runs.
Accounts Payable Administration
- Responsibilities include preparing checks for print runs (verifying invoice, allocating expense, ensuring vendor information is correct)
- Preparing checks for authorization by Director
- Non-vendor to start
- Will be expected to take over all payments in time
- Cash receipts reconciliation
- Periodically (weekly)
- Uploaded cash receipts are cataloged in quickbooks and recorded as expenses in the accounting system for traceability
- This is to be reconciled against cash counts reported by MODs
- Utilities
- Ensuring utilities are properly applied to the landlords responsibility where applicable and notifying director of needed payments
- Review charges systematically to identify anomalies

- Light transaction allocation work when combing through bank feeds
- Depreciation and amortization reporting
- COGS and inventory journal entries
- In general, other LLC bookkeeping will require a similar light transaction allocation work but a bit more in depth work related to ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Adherence to US GAAP standards and principles
- Encourage other employees to adhere to company standards and ethics
Record Keeping:
- Bookkeeper will be expected to understand and assist in product intake through manifest acceptance to help when intake is high or if other team members cannot fulfill function
- Ensure proper documentation protocols are upheld and followed through
- Properly catalog and store documentation to be easily accessible/retrievable when required
- Build out and properly maintain guidance documentation and ensure procedures are properly aligned with reality
Record Maintenance:
- Managing Budtender/Manager Incentive Points
- Running report to reconcile Incentive User spends vs Points Used
- Administrating point awards when required
- Auditing Employee Incentive Points
- Being sure points applied in the form is recognized appropriately
- Notifying employees when changes are made due to the results of reviews
- Work with Accounting Manager to ensure proper reconciliation of accounts occurs in a timely manner following a prescribed procedure and assist in monthly closing process
- Product feedback summarization
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred (Recent graduates are welcome to apply!)- Ability to work 40 hours a week

JOB SUMMARY:
One River’s Bookkeepers perform a multitude of duties in support of the firm and our clients. Our bookkeepers are QuickBooks Pro Consultants and they oversee and address client issues. They are responsible for ensuring effective and long-term problem resolution with clients and are expected to prepare work papers and schedules for tax engagements. They help oversee client financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate records on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. Our bookkeepers are expected to exhibit initiative, responsibility, and professionalism in the workplace and with clients. Position generally requires light to moderate overtime, with the exception of tax season when overtime demands have the potential be higher.
One River CPAs is looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. The ideal employee would be self-directed, organized, motivated, and have an attention to detail as well as an ability to multitask. Strong computer proficiency is needed especially with programs within Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with QuickBooks and other online accounting software if preferred. Candidates must be eligible for work in the United States and must have reliable transportation. Job Summary:
The Bookkeeper is responsible for a wide variety of accounting functions for White Label Extracts and its subsidiaries. This position will manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll administration, auditing and reporting. This position will provide exceptional customer service to business partners while operating with professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment. This position requires a considerable amount of time spent on data entry, the ability to work independently, exercising creative problem-solving skills, and communicating effectively.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Daily and weekly journal entries for A/P, printing checks, communicating with vendors.
- Administer payroll accurately and timely. Import GL transactions from a third party payroll processor.
- Responsible for communications with CPA to coordinate tax payments and audits.
- Bank account reconciliations, verifying that all transactions are entered and complete with proper backup.
- Entering data into Quickbooks.
- Maintain daily cash journals and posting weekly into accounting software.
- Assemble, maintain and track weekly cash deposits.
- Create, maintain and distribute monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Role Overview
Asceend is looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper with at least three to five years of demonstrable and verifiable Quickbooks experience. Jr. Bookkeeper responsibilities include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports, and making basic reconciliations. You will use Quickbooks online daily to process business transactions for a variety of entities and projects. The ideal candidate also has an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, and have a strong fundamental knowledge of GAAP and how to implement them in a cannabis business environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department – assist with preparing financial statements for Accountant review
- Enter daily key data of financial transactions (all bank, credit card, invoices for multiple entities) into company databases.
- Day to day maintenance and organization of receipts, financial records, and transactions.
- Organize company files and documents in Google Drive
- Daily maintenance and oversight of multiple bank accounts, credit card accounts and transactions, and various Cash on Hand (COH) ledgers

Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping:

- Drafts correspondence as requested
- Participate in events as needed as a member of administrative staff.

Essential Job Duties:
Entry of daily sales & inventory summaries for multiple companies.
Entry of cash log transactions & monthly audits of cash vault.
Manual entry of credit union transactions on a weekly basis.
Accounts Payable, including vendor communications & record maintenance
New vendor setup and maintenance
Correspond with vendor inquiries
Perform other related duties as may be requested by the Finance Manager
Provides additional administrative support as needed
Requirements:
Proficient in accounting software (Quick Books) (3-years minimum experience)
Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals
3-5 years Bookkeeping experience,
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word required)
Computer savvy with the ability to pick up new programs easily
Ability to prioritize
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Able to complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Thrives in a collaborative, team player office environment
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality

Audits. We are going through PCAOB audits in preparation to become or be acquired by a publicly traded company. Publicly traded company experience will be a plus!
Accounts Payable. Help our COO and office manager by doing part of the AP within our internal controls guidelines.
Follow-up. Responsible to ensure that all projects are moving along and not stalled out "waiting for another party" to complete something. We need you to be proactive and take action before anyone else notices it isn't getting done.
Concierge service for the executives. Offer to go get lunch, pick-up dry-cleaning, type documents, help the executives owner to feel relaxed, back the business owner up, support the business owner in everything. Please offer any professional services that you observe that could make life easier for our overworked COO.
