Full Job Description

We are currently looking to fill a part-time or full-time Bookkeeping position for multiple clients most of which are in the cannabis industry (growers; processors; and dispensaries)

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of bookkeeping experience and be very proficient in QuickBooks Desktop Version and Microsoft Excel.

Candidate must be knowledgeable and experienced on cannabis industry cost accounting and U.S. IRC including 280E, 471, 199a and others.

Hours: Flexible

Starting Pay: $25.00/hr

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping for multiple clients - primarily LLC's and small corporations
• Complete reconciliations and monthly closings for multiple accounts and work with multiple business models, including "all cash" businesses.
• End of month financials for each entity
• Monthly document management
• Client communication of missing documents/data and coordination of how to obtain documents/data
• Creating reports for clients, as necessary
• Client relationship management
• Other duties will be determined and discussed

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must have a strong bookkeeping background with cannabis industry experience.
• Understand and be able to discuss end of month financials with clients
• Must be able to manage the work flow and documents for clients so that all clients are complete by the designated dates
• Must be comfortable answering phones, as needed
• QuickBooks Desktop
• Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 per hour
