Overview of Position
The dispensary Budtender will be responsible for hosting and conducting Adult-Use transactions within the designated TERPS retail location. All retail Budtenders will attend a week long training course hosted by the TERPS Training Administrator prior to conducting any customer facing transactions. Consistent cannabis education development and quality customer service are essential responsibilities for all Budtenders.
Upon completion of the training course, Budtenders will be able to assist customers on the sales floor and execute cannabis transactions from start to finish. They will be expected to verify customer ID cards, answer questions regarding cannabis product information, safe consumption and general use. Cash handling skills as well as developing an understanding of Massachusetts state Adult-Use rules and regulations will be a daily responsibility. The role and responsibilities of all Budtenders will be overseen by the dispensary General Manager and their leadership team.
Objective
Budtenders will utilize the approved educational tools and training to assist customers in their cannabis product selection. Good listening skills are an important characteristic of all retail employees, you will be responsible for understanding the customers needs and guide them to an appropriate product selection. Budtenders will use the consultation time with customers to inform them of necessary compliance regulations that impact their purchase, transport, storage and use of the cannabis products. Since cannabis is a highly regulated industry, it is essential that Budtenders distribute products to customers correctly and in a compliant manner. This includes the exchange of payment and application of the appropriate packaging to conclude the transaction. Employee and customer safety is an imperative element to the TERPS business model, it is up to all retail staff members to apply appropriate response and action to all dispensary customer interactions.
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge of cannabis relating to Adult-Use customers
- Correct application of SOPs to ensure retail regulatory compliance
- Understand the importance of proper identification, general confidentiality and privacy
- Execute safe cannabis handling and storage practices
- Practice proper anti-diversion tactics
- Hold safety and security to a high standard
- Maintain correct cannabis product inventory and point-of-sale records
- Retain knowledge of the products we carry within the dispensary
- Maintain a daily cash drawer
- Attend and apply tools obtained through the select Responsible Vendor Training Program
- Complete 8 hours of annual training via the TERPS training courses

The Budget and Finance Manager will oversee the budget and finances of the company and its entities.
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities
- Manages the Accounting departments assignments and priorities.
- Manages financial responsibilities in consultation with the Chief Business Officer
- Prepares corporate financial statements in a timely fashion.
- Creates and maintains a series of financial controls and procedures for the Accounting department.
- Conducts periodic audits of budget items, including comparing per diems to actual expenses and other budget-to-actual comparisons.

Upon completion of the training course, along with RVT, GMs will be able to take full shifts within the dispensary.
GMs will be responsible for fostering a positive, collaborative and educational company culture while also setting a positive leadership standard for the rest of the management team. GMs will be responsible for displaying a commitment towards the advancement of cannabis resources by ensuring all agents receive their on-going training.
The Management team (GM & ASM) is responsible for the maintenance of all financial and sales reporting, record keeping and communication to appropriate contacts; both internally and state reporting. GMs will be expected to maintain a comprehensive understanding of all applicable CCC/ state regulations. Along with the sales floor agents, GMs will answer questions regarding cannabis product information, safe consumption and general use when necessary. The role and responsibilities of the GM will be overseen by the VP of Retail Operations.

Position Overview:
The Security-Compliance Team Member/Greeter is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for Terps customers through awareness of Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission guidelines and an actively engaged comportment with customers, staff and their environment. Be able to conduct interactions with an upbeat and informed approach with the customers prioritizing safety, security and accountability. Conduct and implement physical security measures consistent with local and state regulations to ensure compliance with all Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission requirements. Overview & Objective of Position
The Dispensary Assistant Manager (ADM/ ASM) is responsible for leading daily business needs while developing a customer-centric team environment among the retail agents within the dispensary. ASMs will be a part of the management team, specifically supporting the locations GM with daily tasks and responsibilities. There are core areas within the adult-use cannabis environment that will require heightened attention from the ASM, these include but are not limited to: compliance, execution of SOPs, customer service, inventory management, and budtender/ dispensary overall sales. All ASMs will attend a week-long training course hosted by the TERPS Training Manager prior to actively managing the dispensary. Upon completion of the training course, along with RVT, ASMs will be able to take full shifts within the dispensary.
ASMs will be responsible for fostering a positive, collaborative and educational company culture while also setting a positive leadership standard for the rest of the management team. ASMs will be responsible for displaying a commitment towards the advancement of cannabis resources by ensuring all agents receive their on-going training. The Management team (GM & ASM) is responsible for the maintenance of all financial and sales reporting, record keeping and communication to appropriate contacts; both internally and state reporting. ASMs will be expected to maintain a comprehensive understanding of all applicable CCC/ state regulations. Along with the sales floor agents, ASMs will answer questions regarding cannabis product information, safe consumption and general use when necessary. The role and responsibilities of the ASM will be overseen by the GM and VP of Retail Operations.
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities
- All managerial opening, closing, and daily duties within the dispensary as the MOD
- General office work such as; all record keeping/ maintenance, email correspondence, IT troubleshooting

Position Overview:
The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for maintaining all cannabis and non-cannabis product inventory while also providing necessary support to the team of Budtenders and Sales Leads within the designated TERPS retail location. Budtender (Retail Sales Associate) - *Wellfleet, MA (Cape Locals Only)

Overview & Objective of Position
The dispensary Budtender will be responsible for hosting customers within the TERPS retail space and conducting compliant Adult-Use sales transactions within the designated TERPS retail location. All Budtenders will attend a week-long training course hosted by the TERPS Training Administrator prior to conducting any customer-facing transactions, along with the mandatory RVT. Consistent cannabis education development and quality customer service are essential responsibilities for all Budtenders. The Budtender role is expected to be a highly motivated and self-driven sales representative to assist with developing innovative strategies to achieve sales goals, as well as make meaningful connections with our customers.
Upon completion of the training course, Budtenders will be able to assist customers on the sales floor and execute cannabis transactions from start to finish. They will be expected to verify customer ID cards, communicate the menu offerings, answer questions regarding cannabis product information, safe consumption and general use. Cash handling skills as well as developing an understanding of Massachusetts state Adult-Use rules and regulations will be a daily responsibility. In addition to compliance related policies and expectations, it is the Budtenders responsibility to consistently increase individual sales and Average Ticket Prices. The role and responsibilities of all Budtenders will be overseen by the dispensary General Manager and their leadership team.
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities
- Complete 8 hours of annual training via the TERPS training courses and RVT
- Execute and communicate safe cannabis handling and storage practices
- Correct application of SOPs to ensure retail regulatory compliance
- Understand the importance of proper identification, general confidentiality and privacy
- Practice proper anti-diversion tactics
- Maintain correct cannabis product inventory and point-of-sale records
- Retain and continue to develop a superior knowledge base of the products we carry within the dispensary daily
- Maintain and close out a daily cash drawer with little to no discrepancies
- Maintain heightened cleanliness throughout the dispensary/ understand the importance of personal hygiene while present at work
- Ability to thrive as an individual employee but also work cohesively within the team environment in regards to team sales goals and individual sales goals
- Develop and consistently increase cross selling and upselling opportunities
- Maintain a friendly, positive and informative demeanor while interacting with customers
- Provide above and beyond customer service for all TERPS patrons

- Understand and promote company programs
- Participate in scheduled company representation opportunities; pop ups, cannabis events, 21+ events, etc. This also includes roles within the dispensary such as; greeting, order fulfillment, labeling assistance, etc.
- Maintain an orderly appearance across the sales floor, participate in floor sets when scheduled
- Any additional tasks that are requested by dispensary management related to customer service, cleaning, organization, team collaboration, etc.
Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age and legally authorized to work in the US

- Ability to quickly learn procedures and acquire cannabis product knowledge (daily menu updates)
- Previous cannabis experience/ knowledge preferred

Position Overview: *The Budtender is responsible for possessing an expert knowledge of all products, making customers feel comfortable and engaged, and accurately completing transactions. Not only is it important to provide excellent customer service and inform customers of responsible cannabis use, but also conduct these interactions with an upbeat and educational approach. Budtenders will utilize the approved educational tools and training to assist customers in their cannabis product selection. Budtenders must expand their knowledge of cannabis and cannabis products on an ongoing basis. The Budtender also needs to familiarize themselves with all state and local regulations and ensure they consistently follow all company-established standard operating procedures. The work environment is fast-paced and requires someone who can multitask while maintaining a professional demeanor. Responsibilities:
