OVERVIEW:
C&G Management is searching for a Talent Acquisition/Recruiting Manager to join our team!
- The ideal candidate is an experienced talent acquisition leader who has managed a team of recruiters in a fast paced, data driven environment.
- Experience using an applicant tracking system (ATS) to manage pipelines and measure success is required.
This position is based in Spokane Valley. Out of market candidates are encouraged to apply, but we are not currently offering relocation assistance at this time. This job is NOT remote.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as the senior recruiter on the team by sourcing, engaging, selecting, offering and closing of assigned senior and corporate talent needs
- Direct, manage, and motivate a team of recruiters to deliver a consistent and quality interview experiences for candidates
- Manage recruitment practices for 7 retail stores and our corporate office
- Build and rollout various talent acquisition programs to hire from target and strategic talent pools
- Own the strategy that enables C&G to recruit all levels of candidates
- Enhance our Careers related sites with engaging and informative content and ease to apply or join our talent community
- Leverage our workforce and ATS system to create reporting and team accountability with actionable sourcing, selecting, DE&I, and hiring metrics

- Stay up-to-date on innovative recruiting trends and practices

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years progressive experience with full cycle recruiting including two of those years managing in-house full cycle recruiting
- Proven success developing and deploying talent acquisition strategies within a company
- Ability to think strategically and communicate at the executive level, coupled with top-notch organizational skills and an attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to effectively motivate and develop direct reports
- Experience in high volume recruiting environment
- Willing to work 40-45 hours per week

In your role as Talent Acquisition Specialist for Cannabis & Glass, you'll be the face of the company in interviews and engage with active and passive candidates through a highly engaged sourcing approach.

Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to all customers.
- Maintain the highest level of knowledge on the products carried at C&G.
- Assist management with all retail activities including, but not limited to:
- Stocking products
- Counting inventory
- Assisting with delivery intake
- Merchandising and displays
- Effectively implement sales techniques provided by management.
- Achieve sales goals and KPIs provided by management.
- Must be a team player by being committed to maintaining productive and effective working relationships with coworkers.

Working Conditions:
- Job duties may include work indoors and outdoors during all seasons, 365 days/year.
- Employees may be exposed to difficult or stressful customer situations requiring patience and professionalism to effectively handle.
- Work duties may require sedentary activities, active standing, stooping, and/or kneeling.
- Retail stores are open 365 days a year with shifts typically occurring between 6:30 a.m. and 11:30 p.m.
Essential Functions:
- Must be able to move about the retail store, as needed, to assist customers and perform required functions.
- Must be able to remain in a designated work area for up to 8 hours per day with the exception of breaks as required by law.
- Must be able to position oneself to access products within all areas of the store.
- Must be able to effectively communicate information and ideas so customers and coworkers will understand. Must be able to convey and exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Must be able to continue to assist customers and coworkers during and after stressful situations resulting from customer service interactions.
- Must be able to accurately observe details at close range in order to recognize, identify, detect, determine and assess objects.
- Must be able to prepare, place and position retail products or items.
- Must be able to effectively communicate information displayed on digital screens.
- Must be able to perform other job duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be able to regularly lift 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for up to eight (8) hours per day.
- Must be able to proficiently operate computers, tablets and other productivity machinery and technology.
- Must be able to reliably arrive at work on time for scheduled shifts.

Our Talent Acquisition/Recruiting team offers a unique, fun and challenging opportunity. This position is part of the Human Resources department and will report directly to the Director of Human Resources.
In your role as Talent Acquisition Specialist for Cannabis & Glass, you'll be the face of the company in interviews and engage with active and passive candidates through a highly engaged sourcing approach.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified candidates

Overview:
Cannabis & Glass is looking for a Corporate Bookkeeper to provide administrative and accounting support for the Finance Department.
This is an entry level position that directly reports to the Accounting Manager.
Job operations will vary from day to day but will have a base routine including bookkeeping, record keeping, record maintenance, as well as various account payable tasks and items that can arise from that. The Bookkeeper will also be responsible for coordinating and ensuring proper billing and invoice practices are being maintained by our various utilities and lessors.
The job will not only include work done with Cannabis & Glass, but with other organizations C&G Management does bookkeeping and record keeping for. Other tasks that can arise at the discretion of the Finance Director or Accounting Manager will be expected to be followed through with professionalism.
Responsibilities:
Take responsibility for accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, utilities, employee incentive transactions, account statement reconciliations and check runs.
Accounts Payable Administration
- Responsibilities include preparing checks for print runs (verifying invoice, allocating expense, ensuring vendor information is correct)
- Preparing checks for authorization by Director
- Non-vendor to start
- Will be expected to take over all payments in time
- Cash receipts reconciliation
- Periodically (weekly)
- Uploaded cash receipts are cataloged in quickbooks and recorded as expenses in the accounting system for traceability
- This is to be reconciled against cash counts reported by MODs
- Utilities
- Ensuring utilities are properly applied to the landlords responsibility where applicable and notifying director of needed payments
- Review charges systematically to identify anomalies

- General Ledger
- Light transaction allocation work when combing through bank feeds
- Depreciation and amortization reporting
- COGS and inventory journal entries
- In general, other LLC bookkeeping will require a similar light transaction allocation work but a bit more in depth work related to ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Adherence to US GAAP standards and principles
- Encourage other employees to adhere to company standards and ethics
Record Keeping:
- Bookkeeper will be expected to understand and assist in product intake through manifest acceptance to help when intake is high or if other team members cannot fulfill function
- Ensure proper documentation protocols are upheld and followed through
- Properly catalog and store documentation to be easily accessible/retrievable when required
- Build out and properly maintain guidance documentation and ensure procedures are properly aligned with reality
Record Maintenance:
- Managing Budtender/Manager Incentive Points
- Running report to reconcile Incentive User spends vs Points Used
- Administrating point awards when required
- Auditing Employee Incentive Points
- Being sure points applied in the form is recognized appropriately
- Notifying employees when changes are made due to the results of reviews
- Work with Accounting Manager to ensure proper reconciliation of accounts occurs in a timely manner following a prescribed procedure and assist in monthly closing process
- Product feedback summarization
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred (Recent graduates are welcome to apply!)- Ability to work 40 hours a week
- Excellent communication capability to effectively articulate company culture, policies, and practices.

Overview
The Purchasing Specialist will be solely responsible for selecting products to be rolled out in stores and overall menu health. The Specialist will work closely with the Director of Corporate Operations and Procurement Analyst(s) to ensure that the appropriate products are being purchased to maintain a full menu across all store locations. The Purchasing Specialist is also responsible for ensuring that there are an appropriate number of Daily Deal Items available for stores to roll out. The Purchasing Specialist is also in charge of all product re-pricing to ensure proper product sales velocity.
Responsibilities
- Merchandising and Product Selection
- Purchasing Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all stores are properly merchandised across all product types and subtypes.
- Purchasing Specialist is responsible for managing the product roll out process in our internal ERP system, Quick Base.
- The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for understanding current deals and specials that are running to ensure that products are not rolled out at an inappropriate time or price.
Promotions and Discounting Analysis Recommendations
- The Purchasing Specialist will ensure that all stores have a healthy queue of promotional items.
- The Purchasing Specialist will ensure that on Friday there are enough promotional items to last through the weekend.
- The Purchasing Specialist will assess current inventory and identify gluts using internally built tools. Glut’s will serve as one basis for choosing promotional items.
- The Purchasing Specialist will work with the Director to identify other potential promotional items.
Retail Pricing Analysis and Inventory Lifecycle Management
- The Purchasing Specialist will drop prices of slow moving prices according to a recommended Price Drop Matrix.
Troubleshooting ERP Tools
- The Purchasing Specialist will troubleshoot issues with the roll out and price drop tools that he/she is given and work collaboratively with other corporate team members to solve bugs. The Purchasing Specialist does not need to be a QuickBase expert, but needs to feel comfortable communicating issues.
Additional Purchasing Admin Responsibilities (when time permits)
- Purchasing Specialist should conduct Purchase Order Verifications
- Purchasing Specialist should engage in vendor scouting.
- Purchasing Specialist should prepare and submit POs to vendors.
- Purchasing Specialist should accept and intake manifests.
- Purchasing Specialist should process RM products.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
- Must be able to perform sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing for extended periods of time
- Must be able to proficiently operate computers, tablets and other productivity machinery and technology
- Must be able to reliably arrive at work on time for scheduled shifts
- Must be able to type at least 40 words per minute

Overview
The primary function of the Purchasing Admin (PA) is to facilitate communication between the Purchasing department and outside vendors.
Responsibilities
- Purchasing Point of Contact
- Purchasing Admins will be the first point of contact for vendors reach out and purchasing related phone calls
- Purchasing Admins will be expected to reach out directly to vendors in many instances for follow-ups
- Purchasing Admins will be expected to provide resolution to vendor related inquiries that may arise via phone call or email, with a response given in at least an email for traceability
- Purchase Order Verifications
- Purchasing Admins will be expected to obtain invoices and labels for all ordered products. These invoices are to be verified against the original PO, with discrepancies being rectified or followed up on by the Purchasing Admin or Purchasing Analyst, depending.
- Purchasing Admins will be expected to facilitate the conversation between vendors to obtain proper verification materials, especially in instances where vendor communication and follow up is required. It is often required.
- Purchasing Admins will be expected to rectify verification related issues be it improper labels, incorrect invoices, wrong testing, etc.
- Obtain the new labels, correct invoices, proper testing, etc.
- Vendor Scouting
- Purchasing Admins will be expected to keep Quickbase database of vendors up to date
- A rotating set of time allowed to flesh out vendor profiles is given
- Purchasing Admins will update Vendor Profiles constantly. These updates include vendor notes, menus, offerings, etc.
- Reverse Manifest
- Purchasing Admins will be expected to assess whether or not products should be returned to vendors.
- Purchasing Admins will be expected to build reverse manifests in Purchasing for products which will be returned to vendors.
- Purchasing Admins are expected to communicate to vendors that their product is being RMed and coordinate pickup of RM products.

The right candidate has 5+ years of retail management experience with a focus on inventory management and controls. The ideal candidate is also comfortable reviewing operational data and reports regarding Assistant Managers and Retail Associates to assess overall performance of the location. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to independently manage a team of 8 Assistant Managers and 30 Retail Associates. Strict adherence to compliance and standards is a must. Responsibilities:
- Maintains highest level of presentation and customer service
- Provides leadership to assure that all store operations such as cash management, inventory management, inventory receiving, inventory auditing, and marketing are functioning in the most cost efficient and compliant manner
- Performs daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales reviews and provides suggestions for improvement to the Director of Retail
- Reviews, maintains and updates all retail SOP’s and assures that any changes are communicated to employees
- Oversees and ensures cash management procedures are being followed including, transacting, opening, closing, depositing, reporting, maintaining and reconciling cash
- Communicates confidentially with Director of Retail on policies and procedures and only divulges information to authorized persons

- At least 5 years of retail and inventory management experience

- Provides leadership to assure that all store operations such as cash management, inventory management, inventory receiving, inventory auditing, and marketing are functioning in the most cost efficient and compliant manner
- Performs daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales reviews and provides suggestions for improvement to the Director of Retail

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, management, or related areas
- At least 3-5 years of retail and inventory management experience
- Proven experience managing a team to complete tasks and projects
- Experience working in a technology driven environment
- Effectively utilize project management software to track performance
- Exceptional written, verbal, visual communication and presentation skills
- Can-do attitude with shown ability of adapting to change in business needs
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage a complex inventory system
- Ability to critically think and solve problems without direction

Overview
The primary function of the Purchasing Admin (PA) is to facilitate communication between the Purchasing department and outside vendors.
Responsibilities
- Purchasing Point of Contact
- Purchasing Admins will be the first point of contact for vendors reach out and purchasing related phone calls
- Purchasing Admins will be expected to reach out directly to vendors in many instances for follow-ups
- Purchasing Admins will be expected to provide resolution to vendor related inquiries that may arise via phone call or email, with a response given in at least an email for traceability
- Purchase Order Verifications
- Purchasing Admins will be expected to obtain invoices and labels for all ordered products. These invoices are to be verified against the original PO, with discrepancies being rectified or followed up on by the Purchasing Admin or Purchasing Analyst, depending.
- Purchasing Admins will be expected to facilitate the conversation between vendors to obtain proper verification materials, especially in instances where vendor communication and follow up is required. It is often required.
- Purchasing Admins will be expected to rectify verification related issues be it improper labels, incorrect invoices, wrong testing, etc.
- Obtain the new labels, correct invoices, proper testing, etc.
- Vendor Scouting
- Purchasing Admins will be expected to keep Quickbase database of vendors up to date
- A rotating set of time allowed to flesh out vendor profiles is given
- Purchasing Admins will update Vendor Profiles constantly. These updates include vendor notes, menus, offerings, etc.
- Reverse Manifest
- Purchasing Admins will be expected to assess whether or not products should be returned to vendors.
- Purchasing Admins will be expected to build reverse manifests in Purchasing for products which will be returned to vendors.
- Purchasing Admins are expected to communicate to vendors that their product is being RMed and coordinate pickup of RM products.

C&G is looking for an experienced and passionate Retail General Manager to join and oversee the team at our super store location in Ontario, Oregon!
The right candidate has 5+ years of retail management experience with a focus on inventory management and controls. The ideal candidate is also comfortable reviewing operational data and reports regarding Assistant Managers and Retail Associates to assess overall performance of the location. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to independently manage a team of 8 Assistant Managers and 30 Retail Associates. Strict adherence to compliance and standards is a must. We are looking for candidates who take pride in organization and excellence, and can instill these virtues in the team they lead.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains highest level of presentation and customer service
- Provides leadership to assure that all store operations such as cash management, inventory management, inventory receiving, inventory auditing, and marketing are functioning in the most cost efficient and compliant manner
- Performs daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales reviews and provides suggestions for improvement to the Director of Retail
- Reviews, maintains and updates all retail SOP’s and assures that any changes are communicated to employees
- Oversees and ensures cash management procedures are being followed including, transacting, opening, closing, depositing, reporting, maintaining and reconciling cash
- Communicates confidentially with Director of Retail on policies and procedures and only divulges information to authorized persons
- Monitors and analyzes the customer service provided by team members while offering appropriate and constructive feedback and coaching
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, management, or related areas
- Master's Degree preferred
- At least 5 years of retail and inventory management experience
- Proven experience managing a team to complete tasks and projects
- Effectively utilize project management software to track performance
- Exceptional written, verbal, visual communication and presentation skills
- Can-do attitude with shown ability of adapting to change in business needs
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage a complex inventory system
- Ability to critically think and solve problems without direction
- Physical requirements include prolonged sitting/standing, some bending, stooping and stretching and occasionally lifting up to 30 pounds

- 5+ years progressive experience with full cycle recruiting including two of those years managing in-house full cycle recruiting

Cannabis Procurement Specialist
POSITION SUMMARY:
Cannabis and Glass, one of Spokane's top-rated dispensaries, is currently looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team! The purpose of this position is to work with the purchasing team to obtain product for sale, research products, conduct vendor outreach and notation, as well as negotiating prices and quantities for stores.
This role will also provide research related to retailer offerings in the market. They will need to have a firm understanding of the current moves of retailers in the market and will be expected to provide reports to director and above. In order to ensure data is up-to-date as possible, it will be expected that this will be a constant process of research, reporting, and actions taken as discussed by team. Furthermore, it would be expected that vendor scouting information as relayed by Admins is summarized by management each day and reported to Management.
Specialists will work with Management to review key sales analytic documents to determine merchandising strategies and/or reasons behind trends spotted. Combined these discussions will help provide understanding as to the purpose behind the next series of buys, our position as a retailer in this market, and how we plan on moving forward. These insights should ensure the execution is possible.
Purchasing Specialists will need to be problem solvers, both store issues and vendor related issues that escalate will be escalated to the purchasing manager. Specialists are expected to remain cool headed and knowledgeable about situations enough to take action towards resolution when items arise to their level.
Database maintenance related to ensuring information is kept up to date and that all items are being addressed appropriately, with no ‘floating’ POs or duplicate deliveries.
Operators in this role will also be responsible for menu creation related to determining where product is priced and when it is rolled out onto the sales floor.

OVERVIEW:
C&G Management is searching for a Director of Operations to join our team!
The ideal candidate is an experienced, strategy-driven operations leader who has managed large employee populations (50 or more employees) at a multi-site operation.
The Director of Operations is responsible for the overall operational performance of all retail locations. They will be responsible for creating processes to achieve the business goals and to deliver an exceptional service experience. This includes a focus on cost management, efficiencies driven by reporting & analytics, training & development, root cause analytics to identify improvements, and establishing policies & procedures to drive organizational symphony.
The Director of Operations reports directly to the CEO & COO.
This position is based in Spokane Valley, but may require travel occasionally throughout Spokane, Oregon, Iowa, and potentially new markets as we expand. Out of market candidates are encouraged to apply, but we are not currently offering relocation assistance at this time.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee store operations, policies, procedures, maintenance, and customer experience
- Make key contributions to the formulation of the company’s business strategies
- Develop effective partnerships with managers and store associates to help develop company policies and procedures
- Work directly with the CEO/COO and other corporate team members to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals
- Participate in proactive activities such as training and developing staff; discussing sales strategies, inventory control measures, loss prevention, and safety awareness
- Make recommendations to executive management for improvement of retail operations, company policies, procedures and practices
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and legislation to ensure compliance
- Assist in creating and maintaining various procedural manuals
- Prepare and deliver monthly statistical reports to executive management team
- Identify and target areas in which the business can improve operation and grow
- Research and implement new directives for growth opportunities
- Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
- Function as the liaison between retail operations and the corporate management team
- Ensure all locations have necessary supplies and equipment to function properly
- Follow up with administrative support to order any additional supplies and coordinate any maintenance requests
- Oversee the implementation of new policies and hold management team accountable to these processes
- Work closely with the Store Leaders at each location to coordinate and oversee larger projects as directed by ownership and corporate team
- Advise and coach all retail managers on management principles and operational situations that arise
- Review employee feedback by assisting managers with employee development meetings for associates
- Make recommendations for promotions, performance improvement plans and terminations
- Assist in creation and follow through of performance improvement plans of employees
- Coordinate bank pickups and drops
- Investigate any issues relating to inventory or cash loss
- Develop and execute weekly merchandising strategies
- Coordinate with procurement and marketing departments to ensure synergy across the company
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5+ years of senior management experience, preferably in a retail environment
- MBA or related Masters Degree required
- Willing to work 50 hours per week
- Ability to think strategically and communicate at the executive level, coupled with top-notch organizational skills and an attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to effectively motivate, develop and manage 100 plus employees
- An obsession with customer service and a willingness to do whatever it takes to satisfy customer needs

Role Responsibilities:
- Learn how to manage the day to day operations of the dispensary

The Position
The Inventory Specialist position is responsible for the organization and tracking of all C&G inventory. The ideal candidate will bring unwavering professionalism and meticulous accuracy to the position, and who have exceptional data entry and attention to detail. Inventory specialists can expect to work closely with management, help maintain inventory levels for products on the sale floor, merchandise displays, and consistently perform inventory audits . Their other responsibilities include maintaining inventory storage software, ensuring the accuracy of inventory records, and helping intake all deliveries.
Successful inventory specialists should have excellent interpersonal communication skills, a firm grasp of basic computer programs, and an ability to work both independently and in a team. Cannabis & Glass is looking to add a select few full-time Inventory Specialists to our three locations: Liberty lake, Spokane Valley, and North Spokane
We are looking for inventory specialists who bring unwavering professionalism and meticulous accuracy to the position, and who have exceptional data entry and attention to detail. Inventory specialists can expect to work closely with management, help maintain inventory levels for products on the sale floor, merchandise displays, and consistently perform inventory audits . Their other responsibilities include maintaining inventory storage software, ensuring the accuracy of inventory records, and helping intake all deliveries.
Successful inventory specialists should have excellent interpersonal communication skills, a firm grasp of basic computer programs, and an ability to work both independently and in a team. Ideal candidates will have inventory experience as well as extensive knowledge of cannabis and all related cannabis products.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Cannabis & Glass in Spokane, WA is seeking a reliable Office Administrator to join our growing team! We need an excellent problem solver who enjoys critical thinking and tackling new challenges to help facilitate operations and support the Finance team. As the Office Administrator, you will monitor, evaluate, and improve day-to-day administrative functions of the retail operations. In addition, you will be supporting the Finance team with General Ledger, Payroll, and Budgeting activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operations:
Scheduling and Time Sheet Verification
- Time Sheet Verification (TSV) for all Store Leaders including ICC Dispensary Manager
- Ensuring TSV is completed by SLs, DM and Department Heads to meet payroll deadlines and monitor and immediately report issues related to this
- All Scheduling for Retail & Corporate staff
- Coordinating schedule coverage for call outs
Supplies & Maintenance
- Ensure supplies are purchased for stores, and Store Leaders have the resources they need to succeed
- Respond to Maintenance Service Requests
- Use the Store Leaders at each location to coordinate and oversee larger projects as directed by ownership and corporate team
Updating Procedural Manuals
- Use the Change Management process to ensure that all stores are standardized and consistent in following procedures
- Consistently analyze processes and workflows to look for efficiencies
- Make edits to all manuals as necessary
- Make recommendations to modify the manuals as necessary
- Very closely oversee the implementation of new policies and hold management team accountable to these processes
Accounting:
- Plan, implement and oversee overall accounting strategy
- Oversee accounting daily operations
- Take responsibility for accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity, etc
- Monitor and analyze accounting data
- Set up and monitor accounting KPIs
- Regularly produce financial reports or statements
- Adhere to proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
- Encourage other employees to adhere to standards
- Perform and oversee annual audits
