DIRECTOR OF AGRICULTURAL SALES (LIGHTING)
We are seeking an executive with strong contacts and helpful connections in industries such as greenhouse sales, vertical agriculture, cut flowers, etc.
Language: Must be fluent in English. Being multilingual is helpful for sales in Europe and South America but not required.
Location: Las Vegas. Office in Henderson area.
Relocation: Must be able to commute to the site or willing to relocate
Travel: Yes. Must attend trade shows and travel to meet with customers.

Compensation: Pay is negotiable and will be commensurate with training, education, and experience. If we hire you, you will earn more here than your current or last position. Skills & Education:
- Graduate degree preferred (but not mandatory) in areas such as Agronomy, Business, Horticulture, Marketing, etc.
- Expertise in horticulture and a reputation among industry decision makers for being a trustworthy and respected authority.
- Work experience in horticulture industry as a trusted advisor to growers.
- An understanding of the industry and ability to make a plan
Responsibilities
- Work with company President & CEO to develop strategic plans
- Work with Chief Marketing Officer to implement strategic plans
- Attend trade shows as exhibitor / sponsor
- Supervise sales reps
- Work with in-house staff to help recruit sales reps
- Promote our products to build market recognition and trust
- Participate in the sales process and close large lighting sales
- Maximize opportunities for increased company earnings

Pay: From $180,000.00 per year

THIS IS MOSTLY A WORK-FROM-HOME POSITION. We will need you to come into the office once per week on average for a few hours to have a weekly meeting with the COO and with me the FP&A guy.

We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain our accrual-based financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. include working closely with our accounting team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments.
Our ideal candidate holds a Finance degree (preferably followed by accounting CPE courses) and is familiar with Acumatica which will be our new ERP.
Ultimately, the Bookkeeper’s responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company, and close out the books weekly. Our bookkeeper will also work closely with our GAAP auditors, sending them documents instantaneously when they ask to ensure that our audits are completed in a timely manner.
Hours can be pretty flexible as long as everything is done in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
- Bring the books to the trial balance stage
- Perform partial checks of the posting process
- Complete tax forms
- Enter data, maintain records and lunch reports and financial statements
- Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner
- Provide requested documentation to the auditors with lightning speed
- Provide concierge service to the COO to help make his life easier
Skills
- Proven bookkeeping experience
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
- Experience in Acumatica which is our ERP software
