Bookkeeper/Office Manager
Reports to: CEO
Position Duties & Responsibilities (included but not limited to):
Office Manager Duties:
- Assist with office administration duties such as:
- collecting and distributing mail, planning, and assisting with company events and department lunches, and ordering office supplies and cleaning supplies for the entire facility.
- Administrative assistant to VP and CEO
- Additional tasks as needed
Bookkeeping Duties:
- Manage AR and AP
- Cashflow management
- Assist with month-end bank reconciliation
- Collect necessary documentation for tax filings for the accounting team. Once filed, pay taxes online.
- Vendor management including negotiation of terms
- Point of contact for all vendor billing
- Enter and pay vendor invoices on a weekly basis
- Organize and file payments on site for a 3-year period
- Collect and file all debit card expense reports
- Process payroll including rate of pay changes, back pay calculations, garnishments, health benefit monthly premiums, commissions/bonuses, title, department and manager updates, etc.
- Manage purchase order requests
- Manage collections on past-due accounts
- Run month-end transfer reports for tax accounts.
- Additional tasks as needed
Competencies & Qualifications:
- Must have extensive experience with QuickBooks online
- Comfortable using software. Willing to learn new software as required by the position
- Analytical and data-driven mindset
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and Microsoft Excel

The Assistant Director of Extraction and Processing is an integral role in the successful operation of the extraction department.
This position is primarily administrative in the day-to-day operations of the extraction department. The main responsibilities include compliance, scheduling, feed acquirement and designation, and management of extraction and laboratory technicians. Management responsibilities include reviews, proper communication, scheduling, and facilitating employee complaints, recommendations, and concerns.
Required Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Key accountabilities:
- Develop, improve, and update SOPs for all laboratory processes
- Oversight of entry and routine auditing of METRC, batch sheets and internal spreadsheets
- Direct oversight of laboratory employees on all aspects of laboratory production
- Make improvements in both quality and quantity of outputs of all department processes, including winterization, distillation, extraction, formulation, and sample prep
- Create and enforce maintenance schedules for all laboratory equipment
- Evaluation of input material to optimize extraction and post-processing methods
- Appropriate scheduling of all extraction/post-processing according to input and output material PAR Levels
- Order components and consumables for the department as needed
- Additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
This role would be ideal for someone with previous experience managing a cannabis extraction department. Exploring new product innovation while increasing yields and efficiencies is key to advancement in this role.
- 2+ years’ experience managing/directing a cannabis extraction department
- 2+ years’ experience extracting and processing cannabis hydrocarbon products
- 2+ years’ experience operating short path and wiped film distillation units
- Inventory management experience strongly desired
- Solventless concentrates production a plus
- Experience creating and managing production schedules in a manufacturing/laboratory environment a plus

Laboratory Technician
The primary objective for this position is to assist the extraction technicians through the preparation of feed materials, cleaning of equipment and accessories, waste disposal, accurate weight recording, and detailed record keeping. Schedule: Monday - Friday; 3rd shift 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Key accountabilities:
- Adhere to SOPs
- Routine and Accurate Data Log Completion
- Grind and prepare feed material, approximately 25 batches a day at minimum
- Cleaning of feed material sleeves after extraction to keep up with filling demands
- Cleaning of glassware with caustic chemicals and organic solvents
- Post-processing of products – Only as time allows with completion of primary tasks
- Waste preparation and removal – All record-keeping with mandated compliance
- Transfilling working tanks with combustible hydrocarbons
- Maintain clean facility for tours
- Additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- You will enjoy working both autonomously and in a team environment
- Have a high level of attention to detail, gained from working in a laboratory if possible
- Be self-motivated with the ability to prioritize
- Have experience working within standard operating procedures
- Prior experience in a cannabis extraction facility is a bonus
