Position Summary:
We are seeking an individual who has vision, passion and knowledge in the Cannabis Industry. The position of the Inventory Manager is vital to our business operations as we are a highly regulated industry, and compliance takes precedence in all business decisions.
The Inventory Manager will undertake the responsibility for regulatory compliance and inventory control from a retail level. Ensuring compliance with the State of Michigan and implementing the quality standards and procedures developed by Quality Roots Inc. The Inventory Manager will work closely with store management and a variety of corporate teams to maintain product availability, stabilize accessory and apparel PAR levels, command loss prevention initiatives and engage with retail employees to maintain a proper flow of inventory to the sales floor.
The Inventory Manager will be responsible for facilitating day-to-day Inventory operations in our retail stores to ensure facility and department compliance, keep inventory flowing and be a leader to employees in the retail location.
Qualifications:
The Inventory Manager must be organized, professional and have a high attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to be able to communicate effectively with all staff members and be equally committed to personal and team success. This position will require previous inventory management experience and the proven ability to manage multiple people.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate the receipt of new product shipments and the movement of inventory in the store.
- Process packaging of product, organizing inventory and maintaining compliance with company and state regulations.
- Work with the Inventory Team to ensure all inventory data is accurate and available for timely reporting.
- Audit the physical inventory to ensure that the virtual inventory aligns precisely.
- Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, PAR levels and adjustments.
- Forecast and adjust inventory to maximize marketing endeavors, achieve sales and operational goals.
- Research inventory out of balance situations and adjustments; implement controls to reduce adjustments.
- Protect company assets and minimize loss by ensuring all store standards and operating procedures are met, including workplace safety, inventory control and loss prevention.
- Manage the waste and product destruction process in retail stores in a compliant manner.
- Must be exceptionally well organized to handle large amount of inventory data, analysis and reporting.
- Work with managers to maintain an accurate account of non-stock and unavailable inventory.
- Identify under-performing products and work with Management to develop strategies that leverage company programs, tools, and resources to improve and grow the business.
- Promote a culture of teamwork by working alongside the management team, establishing priorities and providing clear direction.
- Direct and communicate goals and duties with Inventory Specialists and other team members.
- Maintain a strong, professional and communicative relationship with corporate staff.

We are currently looking for a Assistant Manager that is a cannabis knowledge expert to lead and undertake the responsibilities of daily operations in regards to staff, inventory and compliance standards.
The ideal candidate will inspire, respect and be able to provide educational cannabis sales information to customers, guests and other team members.
The Assistant Manager must be well educated in cannabis knowledge including but not limited to: industry knowledge, strain differences, the growth process, effects of cannabinoids, types of terpenes, cannabis weight measurements, physical effects on the body, THC versus CBD, concentrates, edibles, tinctures, types of devices to consume cannabis with, etc.
The goal is to delegate and engage with employees and customers to identify their needs, present and answer questions about products and services while also recommending solutions. Responsibilities
- Monitoring the day to day operations of both retail front of house and inventory/receiving back of house with emphasis on controlling staff and store flow
- Review and assist the inventory manager and general manager in receiving all deliveries with diligence and accuracy in accordance with company and state regulations
- Create effective organization and information gathering for all inventory regarding special patient orders, employee patient samples, and weekly deals
- Learn the ins and outs of the point of sale system
- Assist with the cash audit process on a nightly and monthly basis, including but not limited to counting down drawers, making bank deposits, fulfilling change orders, etc.
- Track various sales metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Oversee employee scheduling and attendance
- Track employee disciplinary actions including marks against attendance, drawer offages, inventory discrepancies, etc.
- Assist with employee training and review process according to company SOPs
- Assist in conducting nightly and monthly inventory audits in accordance with company and state guidelines to ensure there is no diversion of inventory, and effectively respond to discrepancies
- Maintain records for all necessary documents: delivery and inventory manifests, nightly and weekly inventory counts, and other company reports
Skills
- Proven work experience as an Assistant or General Manager
- Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role, cannabis experience preferred
- Understanding of the retail sales process. (Selling/Cashiering)
- Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
- Basic math skills
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships with customers and fellow employees

Inventory Purchasing Coordinator
The Inventory Purchasing Coordinator will assist the purchasing department in the securement of complete inventory for all goods to support multiple cannabis retail operations. This role will follow the process of product procurement from various vendors by keeping the documentation trial process organized in relation to securing orders, maintenance of invoice and billing. This role will work with the Inventory Purchasing Director and various departments to complete various projects to ensure high-quality and timely execution of the inventory purchasing.
Responsibilities
- Completion of verifications for purchase orders
- Assisting in research to identify and obtain marketing assets for new products
- Creation and verification of purchase orders and invoices, matching purchase orders to manifests delivered
- Maintain tracking of manifest shipments and creating item profiles in POS systems
- Adjusting and maintaining of par levels for various products and accessories
- Assisting in price change updates
- Building and maintaining deals on POS systems (Flowhub and Dutchie)
- Producing reports for Inventory Purchasing Director and to various department heads as instructed
- Maintaining online menus (Flowhub, Dutchie and Weedmaps) by changing over new deal banners, verifying brand scans, and organizing product categories
- Completion of other various assigned tasks as requested by Inventory Purchasing Director

Position Summary:
Quality Roots is quickly growing in the Michigan cannabis industry and seeks to hire an entry level Graphic Designer to help promote our unique brands, products, store locations and our cannabis lifestyle through various forms of marketing initiatives using your graphic design skills.
The Graphic Designer will undertake the responsibility of assisting the Marketing department with various digital and print marketing materials. With oversight from the Marketing Director and other corporate level colleagues, the Graphic Designer will support retail sales campaign management that includes by not limited to graphic design and print layouts. Visuals created will be used to market various cannabis products and accessories while promoting our unique brands, products, our store locations, and the cannabis lifestyle that represents the communities in which we serve.
At a HIGH level, the Graphic Designer will be responsible for assisting the Marketing Department with artistic support though creating on-brand visuals for our entire cannabis community to engage with.
Qualifications:
The Graphic Designer must be organized and professional with the ability to work in tandem with the Creative and Marketing Directors, along with store level employees to establish and complete department goals. Position Summary:

Patient Care Specialist
We are looking to employ a Patient Care Specialist to assist customers in selecting suitable cannabis products. The responsibilities of the Patient Care Specialist include greeting and welcoming customers, informing the manager of customer complaints and operational issues, and sharing firsthand experiences of cannabis products to address customer concerns. You will be trained to answer customers' questions regarding the different strains of cannabis, their medicinal uses, and methods of consumption.
To be successful as a Patient Care Specialist, you should keep abreast of the latest developments in cannabis laws to maintain legal compliance. Ultimately, and outstanding Patient Care Specialist should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills by ensuring that customers are well-informed and satisfied with their purchases.
Patient Care Specialist Responsibilities:
- Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis.
- Keeping abreast of new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends through trade shows and research.
- Processing customers' payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Ensuring that the dispensary is clean and well-organized at all times.
