This is an exciting opportunity to work in the emerging and fast paced environment of hemp and cannabis extraction. Job Summary
Responsible for final product assembly and packaging according to production demands.
Responsibilities & Focus
- Manages the personnel/labor needs of this operation based on production demands, utilizing available labor pools.
- Meets with production manager and planning personnel regularly to understand production needs.
- Works directly with available labor resources to coordinate, source, and schedule personnel and manages these individuals to keep up with production needs.

- Maintains compliance with internal quality standards and NYS regulations in the form of GMP documentation, Biotrack compliance, and 100% traceability of THC products and ingredients.

Job Summary
NYHO is in search of a dynamic, detail-oriented, hardworking individual to further develop our rapidly growing CBD company. This individual will work externally with private label clients and internally with our Head & Heal brand to provide high quality, full spectrum products, CBD tinctures and topicals to a wide customer base.
The Product Representative is responsible for assisting with private label accounts and private label clients on behalf of New York Hemp Oil/NYHO Labs, facilitating branding and design and monitoring inventory, order fulfillment, and shipping. The Product representative is also responsible for managing designers and printers for the Head & Heal brand, as well as completing small graphic design projects.
Responsibilities & Focus
Assist PL/WL Manager with:
Product Management, Part I: Private Label Management (?)
· Work alongside internal NYHO staff to vet prospective private label customers
· Develop and update ongoing guidance materials for private label customers such as, but not limited to:
· Current governmental and industry best practices for packaging products
· Product packaging templates matching physical specifications of entire product line
· Printing recommendations to work in conjunction with NYHO’s established order fulfillment system (thermal printer, labeling machine, etc.)
· Provide client and account management services to all private label customers, walking them through steps from setup to establish recurring orders
· Utilize creative problem-solving to actively troubleshoot new challenges arising from the ever-shifting landscape of changing client needs in a cutting-edge, evolving industry.
· Supervise client buildout of branding and labeling materials, working with clients’ designers and a variety of printing companies to produce final, physical packaging.
· Project manage shipping and order fulfillment, ensuring that private label clients receive orders, along with tracking notifications, invoices, lab results, and other relevant notifications and paperwork
· Coordinate with the internal product management team and processing facility to maintain up-to-date pricing tables, adequate inventory of products and up-to-date product information, and adequate inventory white label product packaging.
· Conduct ongoing research and make recommendations to optimize private labeling systems and equipment, in order to streamline all processes, increase efficiency, incorporate automation wherever possible, and reduce manual labor.
Product Management, Part II: Product Design Management (?)
· Conduct research on current FDA and industry best practices for product disclaimers, categorizations, supplement panels, etc. to ensure that packaging for internal Head & Heal brand is representative of current legal parameters.
· Utilize Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop to make adjustments and revisions to existing product designs as the product line evolves.
· Work in concert with the internal product management team to ensure sufficient product packaging inventory for incoming product runs.
· Assist in developing design prototypes for new Head & Heal products
· Oversee various design projects pertaining to the Head & Heal brand, such as, but not limited to:
· Product labels
· Product packaging
· Catalogs
· Educational materials
· Project manage graphic designers and printers and coordinate with office staff to move design projects from inception to completion in areas of both design and administration
· Communicate with local and online printers to obtain quotes, product prototypes, reprints, and end-product packaging
PL/WL Account Manager Responsibilities
- Follow-up on prospective customer leads from various channels and referrals (inquiries from
- website contact forms; referrals from friends, acquaintances, industry people; occasional
- cold outreach).
- Schedule introductory phone calls/meetings; vet prospective customers for viability.
- Process sample product orders as applicable.
- Transition prospective customers from the “information sharing” stage to closing a sale.
- Assist with the on-boarding process of new/prospective white and private label clients.
- Collect and maintain all necessary client/business/brand information in relevant
- internal systems and databases (Accounting, Inventory, and CRM software platforms
- as applicable).
- Understand and facilitate process for development of clients’ product label and
- packaging designs according to all applicable compliance standards (USDA organic,

The Position:
The Cannabis Underwriter will help develop a book of a diverse cannabis-based business of commercial property/casualty insurance business and agency relationships to grow the insurance program while maintaining underwriting discipline and profitability. This new position will focus on Cannabis Risks, a background in this area will be essential. This position involves making and developing sound underwriting characteristics based on individual risk characteristics, exposure analysis, hazard recognition and controls.

Job Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
Analyze risks for program suitability and appropriate pricing in accordance with company guidelines and individual underwriting authority- Quote and release new and renewal business within company and broker requirements
- Quote renewal and new business needing management referral in a time frame that allows for non-renewal or declination
- Maintain familiarity and compliance with state insurance regulations and ISO rules for all states within the underwriting territory
- Maintain open communications and build relationships with brokers, marketing managers, and management regarding all underwriting functions
- Analyze and approve requested policy changes as appropriate
- Prepare policies for issuance
- Work closely with Risk Management to assist insureds in improving operations
- Monitor specified accounts for possible nonrenewal or other underwriting considerations
- Provide timely, professional, polite, and friendly customer service through email and phone
- Coordinate consumer requests, such as: insurance proposals, policy copies, proof of insurance, optional quotes, certificates, etc.
- Assist and educate agents/brokers on program specific product and policy coverages

The Cannabis Underwriter will help develop a book of a diverse cannabis-based business of commercial property/casualty insurance business and agency relationships to grow the insurance program while maintaining underwriting discipline and profitability. This new position will focus on Cannabis Risks, a background in this area will be essential. This position involves making and developing sound underwriting characteristics based on individual risk characteristics, exposure analysis, hazard recognition and controls.
Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $125,000.00
Job Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Analyze risks for program suitability and appropriate pricing in accordance with company guidelines and individual underwriting authority- Quote and release new and renewal business within company and broker requirements
- Quote renewal and new business needing management referral in a time frame that allows for non-renewal or declination
- Maintain familiarity and compliance with state insurance regulations and ISO rules for all states within the underwriting territory
- Maintain open communications and build relationships with brokers, marketing managers, and management regarding all underwriting functions
- Analyze and approve requested policy changes as appropriate
- Prepare policies for issuance
- Work closely with Risk Management to assist insureds in improving operations
- Monitor specified accounts for possible nonrenewal or other underwriting considerations
- Provide timely, professional, polite, and friendly customer service through email and phone
- Coordinate consumer requests, such as: insurance proposals, policy copies, proof of insurance, optional quotes, certificates, etc.
- Assist and educate agents/brokers on program specific product and policy coverages
- Solicit new business submissions
- Provide backup support for other associates when necessary
- Prepare risk overview documents and schedule meetings with appropriate personnel when applicable
- Maintain familiarity with market conditions and competitor intelligence
- Monitor internal reports such as loss triangles, loss ratios, hit ratios, retention, etc.
- Foster a team environment with the Underwriting Assistant and Commercial Lines Policy Analyst, coordinating an effective and informed team effort between all team members
- Assist and develop other Underwriters in this program to make sound underwriting decisions
- Preparing and participating in group meetings
- Develop ideas for program enhancements
- Oversee workflow, give direction, and/or assist with training of junior staff
- Mentor Underwriting Assistant and Commercial Lines Policy Analyst
- Lead small group and individual training discussions

Responsibilities & Focus
- Market begins at 7am and goes until 2pm on Saturdays.
- Set up the display around 6:30am and tear down the display after the market ends ~2pm.
- Educate customers about use of cannabis products at CNY Farmers Market or other related events.
- Greets, assists and prioritizes customer needs above all.

The shipping coordinator position is responsible for order entry, invoicing, expense reconciliation, and freight logistics. While working in Cortland, N.Y., this person will largely be responsible for shipping that happens on the West Coast of the country.
Job Responsibilities:

Job description
The writer and content creator will assemble training and management documentation for a manufacturing facility. This person will translate manufacturing procedures and processes that they watch or learn about into a variety of formats, from instruction manuals to frequently asked questions, how-tos, fact sheets, technical specifications, training videos and reference manuals. The writer needs to be able to describe complex processes such as installation, setup and functions in clear English for consumers, who will often be complete beginners and may have no technical expertise. The writer will be expected to contribute to the layout and design of the document, particularly with reference to diagrams that support the step-by-step written instructions. The writer will work solo and be responsible for all aspects of some documents and be part of a team and need to perform duties reliably to get the project completed on time.
The writer and content creator should have strong writing and communications skills. A background or experience in working with manufacturing companies is a plus. A technical mindset is a must.

Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain organic growing standards and practices for the indoor aquaponics facility.
- Manage and maintain proper climate controls of our cultivation facility.
- Perform tasks including cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation, topping, flushing, and inventory management.
- Develop and maintain grow protocols and nutrient regiment. Set propagation, germination, and planting protocols for all crops.
- Strong working knowledge in container systems with soil and hydro as well as understanding temperature and humidity manipulation.
- Expert knowledge of plant diseases, insects, and fungi, as well as plant treatment options.
- Successfully executes preventative maintenance and elimination of types of mold, powdery mildew, spider mites, root aphids, etc.

- Manages plant scheduling to precisely project all grow needs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Analyzes each individual strain from seed or clone to harvest.

We’re looking to hire a production manager for our Cortland factory, which we opened in Spring 2020.
This person will run a tight ship but do so in a positive, motivating way that shows respect for their colleagues. A get-it-done mentality is a must. We need someone with a level head who thrives on goals and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of approximately 10-15 people
- Work with the director of production to schedule production
- Ensure adequate and efficient staffing for production, shipping and receiving, and quality control procedures
- Direct production team leaders in ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency of production
- Meet productivity goals
- Manage inventories of raw materials, finished goods, and production supplies
- Work with the director of production and the sales team to coordinate order fulfillment
- Interface with national-level quality control and product/process development teams
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations on-site
- Participate in hiring and oversee training of new employees
- Oversee facility services such as utilities, cleaning, landscaping, and pest prevention

Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to work in the emerging and fast paced environment of hemp laboratory testing. The successful candidate will prepare our products for outgoing mail for distribution.
Responsibilities & Focus
- Ownership/accountability for warehousing of retail products and order fulfillment.
- Identifies areas to improve efficiency of order fulfillment and inventory management.
- Maintains up to date procedures on internal processes.
- Wraps packages or bundles by hand, or by using tying machines.
- Verifies that items are addressed correctly, marked with the proper postage, and in suitable condition for processing.Removes containers of sorted mail or parcels and transfers them to designated areas according to established procedures.
- Sorts and routes incoming mail, and collects outgoing mail, using carts as necessary.
- Affixes postage to packages or letters by hand, or stamps materials, using postage meters.
- Determines the manner in which mail is to be sent, and prepares it for delivery to mailing facilities.
- Seals or opens envelopes, by hand or by using machines.
- Weighs packages or letters to determine postage needed, using weighing scales and rate charts.
- Answers inquiries regarding shipping or mailing policies.
- Lifts and unloads containers of mail or parcels onto equipment for transportation to sorting stations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Shipping
- Order and keep track of shipping supplies
- Fulfilling orders and bringing to post office within one to two business days of order
- product building, coordinating with co-packing facility
- Working with production manager to schedule and ensure build out of products
- Monitoring/Reporting to production manager on trends of product sale or potential supply/inventory issues
- Shipping all external/internal orders: online orders, wholesale, bulk, distributor, direct retail, market, and samples
- Multitasking and prioritizing tasks frequently
- Moving materials back and forth between warehouse and co-packer
- Receiving deliveries and distributing to proper department
- Picking up inventory from co-packer and putting into inventory system
- Delivery fulfillment to distributors
- Physical order delivery as needed
- Adding lot numbers to labels as needed
Inventory
- Enters all required information in inventory management software system
- Maintains records and ensures information is timely and correct.
- Ensures all product movement has the required certificates and documentation required by local and state laws
- Tracks all movement of inventory in the internal track and trace system
- Develops and maintains effective working relationships with shippers, carriers, and receivers
- Reports any exceptions to product counts or issues that will effect on time pickup or delivery to supervisor
- Develops and maintains effective working relationships and communication with other departments in order to maintain superior service levels and ensure growth at profitable levels.
- Adhere to all cannabis state and local guidelines

bio365 produces bio365 and GreenTree branded horticultural media (potting soil) to exacting quality standards in an indoor controlled environment at its new facility in Cortland, NY. Our soils are sold in retail stores and business-to-business across the nation and are used for a variety of purposes, from home gardening, to commercial vegetable propagation, to medical cannabis, and microgreens production.
The production administrator is the administrative assistant to the facility manager and is responsible for the detailed coordination of critical office and production tasks including scheduling, invoicing, expense reconciliation, and freight logistics.
Job Responsibilities:
- Freight logistics, including schedule and manage inbound and outbound shipments
- Assist in production scheduling
- Prepare invoices and shipment paperwork accurately and efficiently
- Enter production data into inventory management software accurately
- Instruct and enforce safety requirements and practices
- Organize and/or perform inventory counts and reconciliations
- Coordinate companies that provide services or supplies to the site (e.g., trash collection, snow removal, office supplies)
- Expense reporting and reconciliation
- Offer general office and administrative support to the facility manager
- Assist facility manager with overseeing production staff and perform basic HR functions for on-site personnel
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills
- Fast and efficient computer skills, including experience with accounting systems, spreadsheets, CRMs/ERPs, and word processing software
