Summary
Serves as a frontline support for the store and all employees at that location ensuring customer/patient relations, personnel management, administrative duties, inventory control, adherence of compliance and regulations, and facilitating successful day-to-day operations. - Leads the strategy, from concept to execution, for engaging customers through marketing campaigns across digital channels such as social, web, SEO/ SEM, email, SMS, display ads, and OOH channels with a focused effort on increasing engagement and revenue

Our stores are where customers come to “experience cannabis”, and our Retail Associates are vital to delivering customer service, offering a distinctive shopping experience that drives sales results. This position is within the Marijuana Enforcement Division located in our Lakewood Office. The professional in this position will report to the Deputy Director of Policy & Regulatory Affairs and to the Director of Policy & Regulatory Affairs. Position will serve as a senior authority over the Division’s Social Equity Program, responsible for providing essential technical expertise and oversight for the Social Equity Program (including ongoing development and improvement of the program) and providing technical guidance and coordination support for stakeholders and partners.
Social Equity Program Administration and Oversight:
The position will serve as a senior authority and manage the ongoing development of the Social Equity Program pursuant to SB 19-224 and HB 21-1424, including program enhancements, resolution of issues, deployment of resources, the priority of projects, and coordination with other teams, state and local agencies, and community organizations. This position will also be responsible for supporting the Division’s robust legislative and rulemaking work, including legislative and fiscal analyses, drafting proposed rules, consulting with local jurisdictions regarding the state and local social equity programs. This position will be responsible for the following:
Social Equity Program Engagement and Coordination:
- Identifying and research speaking and presentation opportunities that meet the agency’s commitment to public education and an equitable, safe, and accessible industry.
- Leading and assisting in outreach efforts to promote the inclusion of communities disproportionately harmed by marijuana arrests and incarceration in the legal cannabis industry, and to engage with diverse populations.
- Liaising with Social Equity Program applicants, participants, licensees, and vendors.
- Collaborating with other staff to support the planning and logistics of large events such as public meetings and conferences with internal and external stakeholders.
- Supporting the Deputy Director and Director in responding to communications from the Governor's Office, Attorney General's Office, and other state and local agencies regarding the Social Equity Program.
- Facilitating state and local coordination on addressing social equity in the regulated marijuana market.
- Developing Program initiatives in coordination with the Deputy Director and Director.
Technical Assistance & Training:
Identifying resources relevant to stakeholder/licensee needs and determining the types of outreach events and technical assistance projects (e.g. town halls, internal and external trainings) that generate the most value based on the division's mission, industry trends, and other criteria.- Navigating requests for technical assistance and advise on whether issues and/or specific requests are within or outside of the scope of technical assistance the MED can provide.
- Identifying needs for and lead in the development of fact sheets, compliance resources, brochures, presentations and other materials.
- Supporting the coordination, development, and delivery of staff and stakeholder trainings on relevant legislative and regulatory updates.
- Presenting at community meetings, networking events and workforce forums as assigned.
- Facilitating conversations with the Office of Economic Development and International Trade Cannabis Business Office to identify opportunities to collaborate.
Policy Research & Analysis:
Assist with or leading (as assigned) managing and preparing for large scale meetings, event planning, assisting with presentation development.- Leading in the collection and management of information for the purpose of analyzing data and trends associated with the Social Equity Program or other initiatives as assigned.
- Coordinating outreach to other states and state agencies engaged in similar social equity work to gather and evaluate available resources and programs that may inform the Division's Social Equity Program work.
- Drafting resources and reports, as assigned, for internal and public distribution regarding the Division's Social Equity Program and the data and trends associated with the Program.
Legislation & Rulemaking Coordination:
Preparing talking points for legislative testimony.- Assisting with the establishment of rulemaking and overall implementation schedules and managing statutory notice and filing requirements and deadlines associated with new legislation.
- Evaluating proposed rule amendments from other state agencies and stakeholders, as well as internal proposals.
- Assisting in the coordination of rulemaking outreach, notifications, and publications, and assisting with facilitating rulemaking stakeholder work group meetings and rulemaking hearings.
- Drafting new rules and revised rules as needed.
- Assisting in the reviewing of and advising on proposed legislation, including identifying potential rulemaking needs, appropriate and critical stakeholders to engage, and Division operation update needs.
- Monitoring legislative session for bill concepts and bills that are relevant to the Division and to the Department.
Public Records Maintenance - Open Records Requests Coordination & Support:
Evaluating open records requests received by the Division and assist with collecting responsive documents and records.- Analyzing and determining whether records should be withheld under exemptions and exceptions outlined in the Colorado Open Records Act.
- Preparing, reviewing, and approving redactions, as permitted and necessary, under the statute when providing responsive records.
- Assisting in the organization and maintenance of Division records for the purpose of responding timely to open records requests.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Preventing illegal or inappropriate actions by maintaining a high visibility presence
- Patrolling assigned buildings, facilities, and perimeters on foot or by a patrol vehicle
- Maintain constant communication with management and their employees by keeping all parties in the assigned area up to date on current policies and company rules
- Monitoring alarm systems and video surveillance systems when an assigned site is permitted
- Investigate and respond to suspicious activities and disturbances and inform dispensary and security management timely
- Locking buildings, businesses and other designated areas per management needs
- Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, restraining trespassers if needed and according to SOP
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures
- Ensure the Security, safety, and well-being of all personnel, visitors, and the premises
- Adhere to all company service and operating standards
- Able to coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies during emergencies
- The employee will have to provide shoes and pants and any other equipment they would like to carry, which is allowed for the job sites

This position is within the Marijuana Enforcement Division located in our Lakewood Office. The professional in this position will report to the Deputy Director of Policy & Regulatory Affairs and to the Director of Policy & Regulatory Affairs. Position will serve as a senior authority over the Division’s Social Equity Program, responsible for providing essential technical expertise and oversight for the Social Equity Program (including ongoing development and improvement of the program) and providing technical guidance and coordination support for stakeholders and partners.
Social Equity Program Administration and Oversight:
The position will serve as a senior authority and manage the ongoing development of the Social Equity Program pursuant to SB 19-224 and HB 21-1424, including program enhancements, resolution of issues, deployment of resources, the priority of projects, and coordination with other teams, state and local agencies, and community organizations. This position will also be responsible for supporting the Division’s robust legislative and rulemaking work, including legislative and fiscal analyses, drafting proposed rules, consulting with local jurisdictions regarding the state and local social equity programs. This position will be responsible for the following:
Social Equity Program Engagement and Coordination:
- Identifying and research speaking and presentation opportunities that meet the agency’s commitment to public education and an equitable, safe, and accessible industry.
- Leading and assisting in outreach efforts to promote the inclusion of communities disproportionately harmed by marijuana arrests and incarceration in the legal cannabis industry, and to engage with diverse populations.
- Liaising with Social Equity Program applicants, participants, licensees, and vendors.
- Collaborating with other staff to support the planning and logistics of large events such as public meetings and conferences with internal and external stakeholders.
- Supporting the Deputy Director and Director in responding to communications from the Governor's Office, Attorney General's Office, and other state and local agencies regarding the Social Equity Program.
- Facilitating state and local coordination on addressing social equity in the regulated marijuana market.
- Developing Program initiatives in coordination with the Deputy Director and Director.
Technical Assistance & Training:
Identifying resources relevant to stakeholder/licensee needs and determining the types of outreach events and technical assistance projects (e.g. town halls, internal and external trainings) that generate the most value based on the division's mission, industry trends, and other criteria.- Navigating requests for technical assistance and advise on whether issues and/or specific requests are within or outside of the scope of technical assistance the MED can provide.
- Identifying needs for and lead in the development of fact sheets, compliance resources, brochures, presentations and other materials.
- Supporting the coordination, development, and delivery of staff and stakeholder trainings on relevant legislative and regulatory updates.
- Presenting at community meetings, networking events and workforce forums as assigned.
- Facilitating conversations with the Office of Economic Development and International Trade Cannabis Business Office to identify opportunities to collaborate.
Policy Research & Analysis:

- After the product is transferred, the product will be quality checked, counted, systematically received, organized, properly labeled, and split, and put away
- Ensure product is being picked, packed, and pulled according to FIFO standards
- Oversee METRC and other platforms are being accurately managed and maintained for accuracy of data
- Review and audit Inventory Logs to process weekly cycle counts, review on-hand inventory, and track aging products
- Supervise the Inventory Control Specialist to conduct daily duties as outlined
- Investigate and resolve any inventory UID discrepancies found during cycle counts
- Manage the organization of inventory by ensuring the product is in the correct location; conduct search to locate misclassified inventory
- Ensure all order rejections are properly managed and efficiently processed back into the inventory
- Work quickly to resolve all issues and reroute product back to the account if requested
- Conduct end of month inventory meetings to recap results
- Comply with company policies and procedures regarding inventory control
- Work closely with the Director of Operations to ensure regulations are followed and address issues as needed
- Ensure samples and other R&D products are processed quickly and efficiently for Marketing or other events

Qualifications

- 3- 5 years inventory management experience preferred.

- Capable of working independently with minimal to no supervision.

Job Overview

Summary
The Retail Shift Lead Associate is primarily responsible for providing assistance and leadership to other Retail Managers and Associates. The Retail Shift Lead Associate will support Management by delegating tasks to Retail Associates, opening and closing the store, processing incoming products, inventory audits, and oversight of the productivity of the sales floor. Work from home! You will use our company’s data base software by reaching out to prospects via email and phone.

Requirements:
- A STRONG Sales experience is required.
- Accounting or strong business knowledge is preferred, but not required.
- Professional cannabis related experience preferred, but not required.

- Ability to research more information about a company or find the appropriate contact

GIS Specialist Duties Are:
- Update Master Title Plats, Use Plats, Supplemental Plats, Supplemental Notes Sheets, etc., in AutoCAD.
- Update the Historical Indices in Excel and at times may be required to create/convert the Historical Index in MS Word to Excel.
- Completes the Record Notation Requests within a specific timeline and meeting deadlines on a case-by-case basis.
- Will be required to conduct a data quality control review.
- Works closely with the Land Records staff.
- Contractor will be responsible for georeferencing the AutoCAD drawings.
- Responsible for converting the Historical Indices from Excel to a tif image.
- Will be required to post the plats to the local shared drive and send the plat images to the GLO web site staff.
Skills Expected:
- Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), related technology, and analytical techniques in order to learn to resolve moderately complex GIS issues and complete a variety of a well-precedent project and assignment in support of business operations within the Land Records Section.
- Knowledge of geographic/cartographic sciences, database management.
- Knowledge of standardized geospatial and GIS software/hardware.
- Ability to learn and read legal land descriptions, e.g., by township, range and section within a township plat and the resource document, e.g., right-of-way grant, oil and gas lease, Deeds, Patents, etc.
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
- The individual must be detail oriented, have the ability to follow detailed instructions and perform quality control work.
- They must have the ability to learn simple computer systems and perform data base queries.
- Safe work habits are required in an office environment.
- The work is primarily sedentary, requiring long periods of sitting or standing in one position.
Required drug screening (includes cannabis).
