Shipping helps to prepare products, which will sell in stores and helps represent the mission and goals of Terrapin Pennsylvania through attention to detail and care for quality products. They are responsible for checking all flower and lab products with speed, quality and accuracy while adhering to Terrapin Pennsylvania’s standards for packaging. The Shipping team is an important part of the seed-to-sale chain of production and acts as the bridge from garden to store, ensuring delivery of the best customer experience Terrapin Pennsylvania can provide.
Duties and Responsibilities
Quality Control: Should be able to check every product to ensure it meets all of Pennsylvania’s compliance. Check i.e. tamper evident, labeled correctly.
Label Products: Should be able to retain knowledge of labels and understand the components of compliance surrounding packaging and labeling; and apply labels to products as outlined in the shipping S.O.P.’s.
Shipping: Should be able to follow the direction of the Shipping Supervisor, Lab Packaging Supervisor and Packaging Manager to ensure that all of the day’s shipments are filled and ready for the next day delivery.
Maintain Inventory: Should be able maintain accurate counts of prepared product, as well as back-stock and inventory to be moved to retail locations. Must assist Logistics Manager in maintaining inventory of packaging supplies and equipment.
Take Direction: Shippers report to the Production Manager and the Packaging Manager, who are in charge of the daily operations of the Shipping Team and may assign tasks as needed
Computer Literacy: Should be able to use a windows operating system including Microsoft Office, the POS system, and inventory software. Should have a knowledge of web-based menus and applications.
Cannabis Knowledge: Should possess a willingness to learn strain genetics and morphology, as well as signs of disease or other quality issues pertaining to the products.
Product Knowledge: Should possess a willingness to learn all lab products and the products ratios. Should also know how each product is packaged.
Compliance Knowledge: Must be aware of all laws surrounding compliance.

At the direction of the laboratory managers or other lab staff, the Laboratory Extraction Technician 1 is responsible for performing efficient set up / tear down, manufacture and cleaning of all equipment and processes associated with manufacturing operations with general supervision or partnership with other lab technicians. The Laboratory Technician 1 is responsible for adhering to policies and procedures with an emphasis on regulatory related processes such as SOPs and safety to meet the business needs of the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for carrying out duties involving extraction of crude oil. This includes operating and maintaining equipment for grinding, hydrocarbon and supercritical CO2 extraction.
Responsible for maintaining a clean lab, including infrastructure and equipment.
Assisting the extraction team with preparation of materials for the day’s extractions as well as helping to tear down, turn around, and set back up extraction equipment as needed.
Responsible for accurate data entry and inventory.
Assisting in the formulation of final products before they are sent to the filling line as needed.
Assist the filling line staff in preparation and tear down of equipment as needed.
Assist packaging and other departments as needed.

Entry Level Gardener’s will report to either the Assistant Head Grower or Garden Assistant for daily assignments and directives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Start to learn basic knowledge of all laws governing garden operations and maintain compliance in all actions surrounding daily activities.
- Keep the garden floors, shelves, tables, walls, and all work areas clean and sanitized at all times
- Start to understand the general knowledge of daily garden operations in order to fulfill tasks that have been assigned
- Scrub and Clean grow tables after every harvest event
- Wash pots thoroughly after every transplant event
- Must be willing to undergo Worker Protection Standards training regarding pesticide use and best practices
- Must be a good listener who can follow directions carefully and respond to the requests of the management team
- Must possess a willingness to learn and maintain job flexibility at all times as duties may change
- Learn all aspects of the Garden Assistant’s duties.
- Learn the weekly schedule and assure all tasks on that schedule are done by the end of the respective day.

The Pot Washer/Filler plays an important role in the maintenance and upkeep of a safe, clean, and compliant grow facility. It requires organizational skills, reliability, initiative, heightened productivity, and a strong affinity toward cleanliness. It is a necessity to understand the laws that govern operations in a cultivation facility as to ensure Terrapin Care Station maintains safe and compliant practices at all times. Pot washer/Filler will report to either the Head Grower or Assistant Grower for daily assignments and directives.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Start to learn basic knowledge of all laws governing garden operations and maintain compliance in all actions surrounding daily activities.
- Understand the schedule and needs of the garden’s substrate filing requirements
- Start to understand the general knowledge of daily garden operations in order to fulfill tasks that have been assigned
- Use the filling machine, and pot washing machine to keep garden scheduled needs for each transplant
- Must be willing to undergo Worker Protection Standards training regarding pesticide use and best practices
- Forklift use
- Must be a good listener who can follow directions carefully and respond to the requests of the management team
- Must possess a willingness to learn and maintain job flexibility at all times as duties may change
- General maintenance of garden equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized working space
- General inventory of garden supplies
- Learn the weekly schedule and assure all tasks on that schedule are done by the end of the respective day.

This self-motivated individual oversees department Shipping Lanes, Flower/Shake Packaging and Lab Packaging. This position will directly receive, process and ship flower/lab products. The Packaging Manager will focus on accurate monthly inventory counts and reporting. This individual will visually quality control products and monitor that labeling and packaging requirements meet state regulations. The Packaging Manager will allocate finished products maintaining a day ahead schedule. This position includes daily liaisons between Harvest, Lab, Sale’s/Stores, Garden, HR, Inventory and Delivery departments. A successful candidate demonstrates strong leadership and organizational skills. The Production Manager strives to develop the department with automation and updated processes, empowering packaging associates in a safe and professional work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage, develop and participate in daily packaging operations, demonstrating knowledge of department processes including correct operation of equipment and maintenance
- Follow provided department SOP’s. Maintain and update SOP’s with department developments.
- Utilize state and company mandated inventory tracking systems. Inventorying, manifesting and invoicing product for receiving in and shipping out of the Packaging Department
- Monitoring of department inventory levels, allocating products to meet store/customer demand.
- Monitors quality control checks of product received, during processing and at final product.

- Promptly alerts management to all and any department concerns including, product, staffing and equipment, presenting solutions to the concerns at hand

Harvest team members are responsible for ensuring the product is accurately and efficiently harvested to the quality standards of Terrapin Care Station. The harvest crew members are an important part of the seed-to-sale chain of production and act as the bridge from garden to store, ensuring delivery of the best customer experience Terrapin Care Station can provide.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Wet Plant Harvest (“Pull and Hang”): Should be efficient both with “de-fanning” and “hanging” so that the product can cure correctly.
- Dry Plant Harvest: Should have experience in both dry trimming and de-boning and know the different techniques for the various strains harvested. A combination of speed and accuracy are needed. Should be able to vary technique based on the needs of the store or management.

- Clean Work Space: All team members should help in keeping the work environment clean and always help clean before breaks or at the end of the day. There at no time should be open containers on trim tables.

They are responsible for checking all flower and lab products with speed, quality and accuracy while adhering to Terrapin Pennsylvania’s standards for packaging. The Shipping team is an important part of the seed-to-sale chain of production and acts as the bridge from garden to store, ensuring delivery of the best customer experience Terrapin Pennsylvania can provide.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Label Products: Should be able to retain knowledge of label types and understand the components of compliance surrounding packaging and labeling; and apply labels to products.
Machine operations: Should be able to learn to operate the heat shrink tunnel. Ability to operate with a sense of urgency, work efficiently, safely, and accurately, to ensure that products are filled and compliant.
Lab Shipping: Should be able to learn the aspects of pulling position, the double check and boxing position, to ensure that all shipments are correct and compliant.

The Packaging Manager is an integral part of the Production Team. This self-motivated individual oversees department Shipping Lanes, Flower/Shake Packaging and Lab Packaging. This position will directly receive, process and ship flower/lab products. The Packaging Manager will focus on accurate monthly inventory counts and reporting. This individual will visually quality control products and monitor that labeling and packaging requirements meet state regulations. The Packaging Manager will allocate finished products maintaining a day ahead schedule. This position includes daily liaisons between, Harvest, Lab, Sale’s/Stores, Garden, HR, Inventory and Delivery departments. A successful candidate demonstrates strong leadership and organizational skills. The Production Manager strives to develop the department with automation and updated processes, empowering packaging associates in a safe and professional work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage, develop and participate in daily packaging operations, demonstrating knowledge of department processes including correct operation of equipment and maintenance.
- Follow provided department SOP’s. Maintain and update SOP’s with department developments.
- Utilize state and company mandated inventory tracking systems. Inventorying, manifesting and invoicing product for receiving in and shipping out of the Packaging Department.
- Monitoring of department inventory levels, allocating product to meet store/customer demand.
- Monitors quality control checks of product received, during processing and at final product.
- Consistently implements and follows all state and company compliance packaging and labeling regulations.
- This candidate is responsible for releasing deliveries or training a an individual to release deliveries, ensuring the paperwork and product is correct
- Promptly alerts management to all and any department concerns including, product, staffing and maintenance of equipment, presenting solutions to the concerns at hand.
- Manage each department position and scheduling, including on boarding/off boarding, overtime shifts, PTO requests, time sheets and disciplinary action.
- Responsible for ensuring each station within the Packaging Department is functioning with the correct procedures and tools.
- Ensure packaging associates follow sanitary procedures and policies set by the company and state departments.
At a minimum, here’s what you need:
- Ability to pass a Federal and Pennsylvania State Background Check
- At least 2+ years of cannabis industry experience
- Experience in leadership and organizational rolls
- A strong competency working with digital spreadsheets. (Excel, Google sheets)
- Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast moving, highly regulated environment with deadlines
- 2+ years of management or supervisor experience, recommended.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Wet Plant Harvest (“Pull and Hang”): Should be efficient both with “de-fanning” and “hanging” so that the product can cure correctly.
- Dry Plant Harvest: Should have experience in both dry trimming and de-boning and know the different techniques for the various strains harvested. A combination of speed and accuracy are needed. Should be able to vary technique based on the needs of the store or management.
- Strain Separation: Team members must be aware of what strain they are harvesting and must stay organized to ensure no product is mislabeled or misplaced.
- Take Direction: Harvest team members report to the Harvest Manager, who is in charge of the daily operations of the Harvest team and may assign tasks as needed
- Clean Work Space: All team members should help in keeping the work environment clean and always help clean before breaks or at the end of the day. There at no time should be open containers on trim tables.
- Cannabis Knowledge: Should possess a willingness to learn strain genetics and morphology, as well as signs of disease or other quality issues.
- Compliance Knowledge: Must be aware of all laws surrounding compliance in medical or retail business operations. Must be detail oriented enough to assist with tracking plant waste and other aspects of maintaining compliance.

The Junior Laboratory Technician 1 is responsible for adhering to policies and procedures with an emphasis on regulatory related processes such as SOPs and safety to meet the business needs of the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for carrying out duties involving extraction of crude oil. This includes operating and maintaining equipment for grinding, hydrocarbon and supercritical CO2 extraction.
Responsible for maintaining a clean lab, including infrastructure and equipment.
Assisting extraction team with preparation of materials for the day’s extractions as well as helping to tear down, turn around, and set back up extraction equipment as needed.
Responsible for accurate data entry and inventory.
Assisting in the formulation of final products before they are sent to the filling line as needed.
Assist the filling line staff in preparation and tear down of equipment as needed.
Assist packaging and other departments as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education or Equivalent: A high school diploma is required. Prior laboratory experience is preferred, though not required.

We are seeking a highly-skilled mechanical technician to assist our construction, engineering, cultivation, and lab team. You will be updating service and repair records, maintaining our machinery, and running diagnostic tests on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
To ensure success as a mechanical technician, you should exhibit solid knowledge of mechanical performance standards and experience in a similar field of specialization. A top-notch mechanical technician will be someone whose mechanical expertise translates into optimized machinery and equipment performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a continuous HVAC maintenance program. This will include vetting and training contractors and maintenance teams in different states to maintain our units and environmental conditions set by our cultivation managers.
- Assure that all HVAC units are maintaining the required VPD, Humidity, and temperature throughout all of our cultivation facilities.
- Aid in design work including but not limited to: equipment selection, load calculations, placement, distribution of ducting, new airflow systems etc.
- Continuous research on new and innovative technology that can benefit the company in efficiency and quality of HVAC equipment.
- Monitor all environmental monitoring systems, identifying issues and executing prompt solutions to problems that arise.
- Must be willing to travel to all locations throughout the U.S.
- Will work directly with Construction, Cultivation and Lab to assure all facilities are held up to the highest standards set by Terrapin
- Set parameters for different seasons in different climates and assure that on-site technicians are achieving the proper setpoints.
- Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions.
- Installing and performing diagnostic tests on mechanical systems.
- Documenting processes and maintaining mechanical service records.
- Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies.
- Optimizing mechanical efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings.
- Training co-workers on the safe and efficient use of mechanical machinery and equipment.
- Maintaining a tidy work environment and adhering to industry regulations.
- Create and submit detailed bids that outline costs and timelines of HVAC related projects for construction in accordance with deadlines.

The Assistant grower plays an integral role in the maintenance and upkeep of safe, clean and compliant garden operations. - Assisting Garden Manager: Report to Garden Manager each day for a list of daily objectives

- Have an understanding of all tools/equipment needed to run the garden including but not limited to: pumps, timers, lights, sprayers, etc.
