As an Inventory Manager you are responsible for working cohesively with store
leadership in making sure the business runs efficiently and remains profitable to the
organization. The Inventory Manager is responsible for safeguarding company assets
by controlling inventory accuracy, monitoring stock levels, and reporting all aspects of
store inventory. It is imperative that the Inventory Manager be capable of completing
the essential duties for their position. The Inventory Manager position requires a high

Position Objective:
A full-time, experienced Controller for our multi-state cannabis operations. As the Controller, you will have primary responsibility over the bookkeeping, accounting, and financial reporting for the company, working directly with CFO and will hold some management responsibilities within the finance department. You will also work in direct contact with the company’s accountants.
This individual has a deep understanding of business accounting principles, and Quickbooks experience. They will undertake all aspects of the company’s financial reporting and to offer strategic advice based on analysis of the company and business unit financial performance. The Controller is responsible to provide primary oversight for the bookkeeping functions and to ensure accurate financial reporting, including but not limited to: preparation of financial statements, budgeting and cash flow planning, account reconciliation, compiling and analyzing financial reports, tax preparation assistance, and monitoring the overall financial performance of the company.
Duties and Expectations:
- Exhibit a thorough knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual compiled financial statements, including individual business units and consolidated results across business units and corporate entities.
- Calculate and issue a financial analysis summary of the financial statements.
- Create cash flow reports for management on a regular schedule.
- Oversee bookkeeping functions at the company.
- Assist the CFO in:
- The creation of annual business unit budgets.
- Company valuation projections.
- Acquisitions, divestitures, or other transactions.
- Relationships with lenders, investors, vendors, partners and other parties as directed.
- Other projects as directed.
- Create budget to actual reports and offer analysis and analytical insight, including industry standard performance metrics.
- Work with the CFO and the company’s accountants to:
- Prepare annual tax return drafts for management review.
- Ensure proper tax collection and remittance across business units.
- Assist management in tax strategy and structuring of within and across business units and entities.
- Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested.
- Handle sensitive and confidential business matters with discretion.
- Demonstrate good judgment in problem-solving involving multiple levels of the organization, including admin, IT, payroll processing, tax return preparation, and consulting engagements.
Qualifications:
- CPA certification or degree in accounting, finance, or business administration (or equivalent business experience).
- Thorough knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Relevant cannabis industry experience.
- Preference will be given to candidates with additional accounting education, a CPA certification, and knowledge of Quickbooks Online.

Associate Bookkeeper
Objective:
NOBO Inc is seeking a full-time, experienced Associate Bookkeeper for our multi-state, multi-business unit cannabis operations. As an Associate Bookkeeper, you will work under the direct supervision of the Senior Bookkeeper and will assist in managing the daily financial operations of the organization.
Our ideal candidate has QuickBooks experience and will assist with all aspects of the company’s bookkeeping process for multiple business units. The Associate Bookkeeper is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate monthly account reconciliation, record keeping and QuickBooks entries, payroll duties, and other related financial tasks. This is a hybrid position with the ability to work from home. Depending on departmental needs you may be required to work at our office location as specified by the Senior Bookkeeper.
Tasks and Expectations:
- Exhibits working knowledge of QuickBooks and comfortability with computer systems.
- Assists Senior Bookkeeper in updating QuickBooks files to reflect daily account activity and conduct monthly reconciliations for all associated entities and business units.
- Manages accounts payable invoices and reimbursements, as well as invoicing third party vendors.
- Assists with manual payroll data entry for Michigan business units.
- Manages accounts receivable and payable. Collects outstanding accounts receivable from customers.
- Generates daily dispensary closing reports for reconciliation purposes.
- Manages month-end reporting from Metrc and inter-company transfers
