The Regional Inventory Control Manager will act as the liaison between retail dispensaries, production, business development team, and third-party wholesalers to ensure products meet business and consumer standards. Responsibilities include reviewing Certificates of Analysis for potency, aesthetics, and packaging compliance. RESPONSIBILITIES

Glass House Brands is seeking an experienced Inventory and Compliance Manager for our Isla Vista store, scheduled to open October 2022 .
What You Will Do:
As Inventory and Compliance Manager, you are responsible for providing support, analysis, and recommendations to assist Store Management and ensure operational efficiency of the inventory and compliance processes.
You ensure compliance to all regulations governing the purchasing and selling of Cannabis and Non-Cannabis product and you will partner with the store’s General Manager to oversee all facets of policy and procedures and operational administrative duties in relation to inventory and compliance.
The successful candidate will have two or more years’ experience in retail management.
Sales & Profitability
o Ensures expense controls within the store are met with initiatives and strategies.
o Ensure Vendor/Distributor deliveries and Vendor/Distributor payment pickups are optimized for maximum effectiveness.
o Partner with Centralized Retail Buying Team to ensure all designated category products are in stock based on demand across markets.
o Maintain tracking of all invoices, deliveries, and payments for all products.

The inventory managers will have the autonomy to make decisions about and will be responsible for all day-to-day inventory operations at the dispensary.
The Inventory Control Manager (ICM) will be responsible for the quality of products kept on hand and maintaining accurate records of said products. In conjunction with the General Manager (GM), and with the guidance from other department heads, the ICM will closely monitor sales figures and customer preferences and maintain adequate inventory on hand to meet projected customer demand. The ICM will be responsible for placing and tracking orders of any products the dispensary needs and alerting the other departments of expected shipments and contents. This position will be intimately familiar with the Company’s POS system and the State’s verification system and be responsible for training all agents in all inventory control procedures. This position will also work with the GM or their delegates to ensure POS and end-of-day inventory reports match confirmed inventory levels and work to identify/resolve any discrepancies that occur. Additional duties include responsibility for securing and scheduling all inventory that will be transported for the dispensary by a third-party transporting organization to another cannabis dispensing organization or a cannabis testing facility. The duties listed are not exhaustive and other responsibilities may be assigned to the ICM by the GM. The ICM will serve as an agent-in-charge. Responsible for vendor relations – including, relationship building, outreach, collaboration, and unification of our storefront’s menu unification, recognition, and consistency. The ICM will also directly communicate with the GM for any/all things regarding general operations and personnel related issues as this individual is required to know both sides of management operations.

Position Overview: The Inventory Manager is responsible for the overall management of inventory for the Upstate family of Cannabis brands. The position will manage inventory levels and optimal safety stocking based on seasonal demand for all finished goods including THC products, CBD products, and Cannabis gardening hard goods. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are required. This is a hybrid position, and some on-site work is required weekly at the Factory Store in Burlington, VT.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overall management of Cin7 and Dutchie inventory management systems.
- Works with cross-functional teams to monitor inventory control procedures for purchase orders, stock adjustments, branch transfers, and sales orders. Troubleshoots issues when they arise.
- Manages Stock Trim to forecast gardening hard goods and finished CBD products, taking into consideration lead times, new product launches, and sales growth.
- Manages transfers between branch locations and schedules transportation with Logistics Manager.
- Manages inventory reconciliations for all branches and maintains weekly, monthly, and quarterly reconciliation schedules.
- Creates detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations, and stock levels. Analyzes data to anticipate future needs, and places orders to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus. Ensures that data is available to all departments in regard to inventory, trends, unit forecasts, etc. Monitors out-of-stock items and communicates shortages to company stakeholders.
- Works closely with COO to ensure THC inventory is managed in compliance with Vermont Cannabis Control Board regulations.
- Works closely with purchasing to control inventory levels and evaluates suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience managing inventory in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) or Cannabis industry.
- An understanding of batch tracking processes and gross margin analysis is required. Experience with Cannabis seed-to-sale tracking is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills and advanced MS Excel.
- Able to work with minimal oversight.

The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for comprehensive execution of the facility’s inventory needs including supply chain purchasing, receiving, product packaging, and order fulfillment. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Inventory & Cost Accounting Manager will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of inventory accounting, including the analysis of system to 3PL variances, inventory reserve calculations, and performing related account reconciliations. As the Inventory & Cost Accounting Manager you will also have a hand in both designing and executing monthly financial and operational reporting surrounding inventory, be responsible for performing inventory and cost analysis, and maintaining financial reports, records and general ledgers. As the PAX Inventory & Cost Accounting Manager you will:
- Review current accounting processes related to inventory including, but not limited to, purchasing and costing, and partner with operations to make improvements
- Establish and maintain cost models, ensure compliance with US GAAP and that information received is up to date and relevant and that any variances are analyzed and incorporated into workflow
- Manage inventory reports including reconciling to the system and usage. Partner with operations staff and our 3PL warehouses on inventory controls and processes, PI's and cycle count
- Collaborate with the operational side of the business to perform inventory analysis and provide meaningful commentary of inventory flux to the Finance organization as part of month-end reporting.
- Review and analyze margins, analyzing purchase price variances and performing sensitivity analysis
- Investigate the cause of any inventory irregularities
- Collaborate with our IT applications and operation teams to develop enhancements to the inventory accounting system and improve process engineering
- Working with the operational side of business to analyze inventory levels and usage to identify potential excess and obsolete inventory
- Participate in the annual financial statement audit
- Develop, document, and implement policies and processes that will scale with growth
- Key member of the month-end close team - prepare adjusting journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and perform flux analysis
- Participate in close meetings and lead discussion on cost of goods sold
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
- Work collaboratively across teams, providing actionable insights to help drive optimal business decisions
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Ensure product is being picked, packed, and pulled according to FIFO standards
- Oversee METRC and other platforms are being accurately managed and maintained for accuracy of data
- Review and audit Inventory Logs to process weekly cycle counts, review on-hand inventory, and track aging products
- Supervise the Inventory Control Specialist to conduct daily duties as outlined
- Investigate and resolve any inventory UID discrepancies found during cycle counts
- Manage the organization of inventory by ensuring the product is in the correct location; conduct search to locate misclassified inventory
- Ensure all order rejections are properly managed and efficiently processed back into the inventory
- Work quickly to resolve all issues and reroute product back to the account if requested
- Conduct end of month inventory meetings to recap results
- Comply with company policies and procedures regarding inventory control
- Work closely with the Director of Operations to ensure regulations are followed and address issues as needed
- Ensure samples and other R&D products are processed quickly and efficiently for Marketing or other events

Qualifications

The Inventory Control Manager will oversee the daily inventory operations. They will be responsible for ensuring inventory is properly managed, ordered, tracked, counted, reported and reconciled.
What You'll Do:
- Insure Inventory transactions are timely entered and updated
- Insure all cannabis reconciliation is regularly completed including matching physical and MJ Freeway amounts
- Track movement of all cannabis within building and between departments
- Report required information to the commission and the DOH as necessary
- Establish, set-up and launch each departments inventory tracking needs
- Participate in planning and execution of harvest, testing and packaging of cannabis products
- Create and maintain necessary records and inventory reports for all cannabis and non-cannabis products
- Perform inventory and miscellaneous analysis as needed
- Coordinate communication between departments regarding inventory movement including packaging, testing, waste and more
- Distribute reports as needed
- Coordinate the procurement of supplies and equipment for entire building as needed
- Coordinate with headquarters regarding who is buying, when to buy, when received and invoice approval
- Maintain internal tracking document for all procurement
- Learn various internal Inventory Control Systems including MJ Freeway
- Remain current and knowledgeable about internal inventory software systems and potential options
- Learn and maintain continual awareness and understanding of complete set of specific rules and regulations determined by the law and by the commission
- Perform administrative duties when needed

What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience within a fulfillment or operations leadership role

Primary Duties:

- High level of proficiency with MS Excel and the ability to manipulate, analyze, and draw meaningful conclusions from inventory data.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (from a 4 year university) strong preference for those with a degree in an analytical discipline (Accounting, Math, Finance, Engineering)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES *
- Lead Corporate Accounting Inventory team. A roll-up-the-sleeves approach to leadership and development
- Work with the Cultivation and Manufacturing Business Units ("BU") to design and develop a Company-wide cost accounting methodology. Develop and document specific policies and procedures to record and report on production costs across the organization
- Ensure inventory value is properly presented on the balance sheet including completeness
- Prior IFRS experience is helpful, specifically IAS 2 and IAS 41 for FMV presentation of biological inventory calculations
- Perform, review and evaluate for reasonability inventory rollforward calculations and inventory turns analysis
- Implements inventory functionality with Microsoft Dynamics for existing and newly integrated locations
- Review and analyze labor, overhead and production rate spend and utilization by site against expected results and report variances
- Review current manufacturing and cultivation processes to determine if they meet best practices and identify opportunities for efficiency or cost savings. Recommend and gain alignment with BU to make required changes.
- Ensure proper elimination of transfer pricing
- Analyze production and material overhead/burden absorption; adjust and report accordingly.
- Conduct inventory reserve analysis on a quarterly basis and report on inventory and inventory aging detail to measure and ensure proper valuation
- Develop key financial performance metrics for inventory
- Review inventory activity and ensure proper cut-off
- Participate in, assist in set up and review cycle counting at each location
- Observe and/ or coordinate physical inventory in multitude of locations, as needed

Item 9 Labs is looking for a highly motivated, knowledgeable Facility Manager to control the direction and oversight of our cultivation facility. Candidates should have a strong horticultural background, a deep understanding of cultivation management and entrepreneurial spirits.
The Facility Manager oversees the day to day operations of the entire facility operations. The Facility Manager is the designated Dispensary Agent with oversight of the Inventory Control System that the Company utilizes, LeafLogix. Works with the Master Cultivator and Master Extractor to manage personnel to perform all the tasks necessary to grow various strains of quality medical marijuana in a large-scale indoor cultivation facility. Work closely with the Master Cultivator on the implementation and timing of cultivation plans to maintain a continuous flow of live cannabis plants through the Cultivation Operation.

- Arrive at facility 15-30 minutes prior to staff start time or arrange opening the facility with another manager
- Perform/coordinate a building walk-through with our Master Cultivator and Master Extractor checking security cameras and each pod room to make sure everything is operating and recording properly;
- Verify all staff who have reported for work and secure all entrances to the facility;

- Make sure all products are put in their proper place and no supplies are needed. Coordinate with Master Cultivator;
- Coordinate and schedule independent lab test samples to be taken. Make sure tests for toxics are done separately from cannabinoid tests to optimize test expenses and still be in accordance with state regulations
- Verify and log lab results and label completed and tested medical marijuana products;
- Load tested and labeled products into the vault and enter product information into LeafLogix to ensure that inventory is accurate.
- Schedule confirmed orders to registered dispensaries and prepare for secure delivery;
- Consistently check on staff and assist them with any needs or work issues;
- Prepare for end of day cleanup and lock up all production rooms;
- Secure and lock the Secure Inventory Vault;
- Ensure that security systems are functioning correctly and recording correctly;
- Perform final security walk-through with security staff to ensure everyone is out of the building; and
