Summary:
The Budtender works one-on-one with guests to recommend products that best match their needs. Responsible for ensuring an excellent guest experience through friendly, outgoing service, strong communication skills, and fluency in all products. Previous experience in the cannabis industry is strongly preferred, though our priority is finding a team player with quality retail experience who fits the company culture, takes exquisite care of our guests, and is equally committed to driving sales and the overall success of our shop. Job Purpose:
The Budtender is the one who builds patient relations, teaches others about all the different forms of cannabis, and drives sales for the company.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with management and staff to ensure the delivery of efficient, high-quality service
- Educate guests about a variety of cannabis products including flower, edibles, and concentrates, providing information on cannabis products based on guest needs/requests
- Provide guests with excellent, compassionate service to create repeat business by developing long-term relationships

- Maintain visually appealing and effective displays
- Maintain and use completely and accurately (POS) and METRC systems for all in-store, online, and phone orders

Grow Technician
Grow Technicians are responsible to work as a team to ensure prime growth, quality, appearance and health of plants. Communication skills, organization, attention to safety and detail, and time management are critical to the success of the cultivator and the overall success of Item 9 Labs.
Duties:
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Maintain established growing protocols and nutrient regiment per specific SOPs related to bloom/flower growing phases
- Give individual plants tailored attention based on standards directed by the Director of Cultivation
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly tasks provided by the Director of Cultivation to keep the cannabis plants healthy and disease-free
- Execute preventative maintenance to eliminate mold, powdery mildew, spider mites, root aphids, fungus gnats, etc.
- Assist in rodent and other pest management protocols
- Working knowledge of Ebb & Flow, DWC and Aeroponics growing methods, including an in-depth knowledge of PH; PPM and EC count.
- Working knowledge of soil growing methods including micronutrients, beneficial bacteria and nutrient implementation
- Working knowledge of deep-water and top-water container systems using soil and hydroponics
- Knowledge of plant diseases, insects and fungi, as well as treatments.
Qualifications:
- Minimum two years cultivation experience
- Must stay current and adhere to all policy and regulations of the Arizona Medical Marijuana

The Brand Marketing Manager (BMM) is responsible for adapting a brand strategy for the company's target
market. As the 'brand guardian', brand marketing managers maintain brand integrity across all company marketing initiatives and communications. The BMM is the person who will shape Item 9 Labs outward image. Will be responsible for uncovering consumer insights and delivering on innovative marketing campaigns consistently throughout the year. The Trade Marketing Coordinator will develop and execute a strategic trade marketing plan inclusive of events, POP, retail promotions calendar, major events, and trade shows. The ideal candidate will work alongside sales leaders to create a calendar of promotions and events, inclusive of activating social, education and creative teams to pull of execution of omni-channel marketing programs. This individual will be responsible for ensuring digital merchandising and social programs are activated to support core programs. Developing the marketing experience in-store (all assets and POP and collateral) and designing core KPIs to report out on progress and execution will also be expected. Sr. Trade Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing localized street team to ensure brand identity and all strategies are being executed effectively. CAD Technician
- Work with VP of Construction, Unity Rd Franchisee and Architects to design dispensaries throughout the US
- Work with VP of Construction and VP of Cultivation to design floor plans for upcoming expansion projects
- Create high-quality detailed technical drawings and plans based on designs supplied by architects and designers and make modifications to existing drawings

The Trade Marketing Coordinator will develop and execute a strategic trade marketing plan inclusive of events, POP, retail promotions calendar, major events, and trade shows. The ideal candidate will work alongside sales leaders to create a calendar of promotions and events, inclusive of activating social, education and creative teams to pull of execution of omni-channel marketing programs. This individual will be responsible for ensuring digital merchandising and social programs are activated to support core programs. Developing the marketing experience in-store (all assets and POP and collateral) and designing core KPIs to report out on progress and execution will also be expected. Responsibilities:

Evaluate the use of event technology at trade shows/Demos, making recommendations as to where we could use technology to enhance the experience or business results from shows attended.

Item 9 Labs is seeking a creative, strategic, out-of-the-box thinker to join our passionate and dynamic team. The Content Specialist position requires someone who is a digital storyteller with an appetite to take content to the next level. This position involves creating content for web, print, email, text, and social media platforms including but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok. The strongest candidates are strategic, excel at digital communication, and can drive results with creativity. The Content Specialist will report to the VP of Marketing and work with the sales, marketing, and education teams to achieve common goals. Responsibilities:

- Create content for all marketing assets – including copy placement in ads (both digital and print) and brochures
- Draft master messaging documents for all brands and products
- Draft and manage website copy
- Create messaging and copy for press releases, blog articles and communications
- Create and manage content asset library (set up structure, file management and systems)
- Schedule, plan, coordinate, and execute quarterly multi-day photoshoots – manage the delivery and finalization of all assets
- Create campaign headlines and attractive, integrated marketing messages and creative ideas for capturing consumer attention
- Work in a fast-paced yet laid-back, close-knit corporate environment
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in marketing or communications

The Brand Marketing Manager (BMM) is responsible for adapting a brand strategy for the company's target
market. As the 'brand guardian', brand marketing managers maintain brand integrity across all company marketing initiatives and communications. The BMM is the person who will shape Item 9 Labs outward image. Will be responsible for uncovering consumer insights and delivering on innovative marketing campaigns consistently throughout the year. Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

The Trade Marketing Coordinator will develop and execute a strategic trade marketing plan inclusive of events, POP, retail promotions calendar, major events, and trade shows. The ideal candidate will work alongside sales leaders to create a calendar of promotions and events, inclusive of activating social, education and creative teams to pull of execution of omni-channel marketing programs. This individual will be responsible for ensuring digital merchandising and social programs are activated to support core programs. Developing the marketing experience in-store (all assets and POP and collateral) and designing core KPIs to report out on progress and execution will also be expected. Sr. Trade Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing localized street team to ensure brand identity and all strategies are being executed effectively. They will also manage and develop the street team program that includes recruiting and managing up to 10 Brand Reps. As a growing organization, this person will also be responsible for various marketing activities to support the organization as needed.
Responsibilities:

CAD Technician
- Work with VP of Construction, Unity Rd Franchisee and Architects to design dispensaries throughout the US
- Work with VP of Construction and VP of Cultivation to design floor plans for upcoming expansion projects
- Create high-quality detailed technical drawings and plans based on designs supplied by architects and designers and make modifications to existing drawings
- Use a variety of CAD software programs to create designs in 2D and 3D models
- Liaise with architects, engineers, and designers to understand their design requirements and provide technical advice to manufacturing and construction technicians
- Provide accurate, detailed and to scale drawings
- Ensure drawings are compliant with Cannabis industry and health and safety standards and protocols

Grow Technician
Grow Technicians are responsible to work as a team to ensure prime growth, quality, appearance and health of plants. Communication skills, organization, attention to safety and detail, and time management are critical to the success of the cultivator and the overall success of Item 9 Labs.
Duties:
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Maintain established growing protocols and nutrient regiment per specific SOPs related to bloom/flower growing phases
- Give individual plants tailored attention based on standards directed by the Director of Cultivation
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly tasks provided by the Director of Cultivation to keep the cannabis plants healthy and disease-free
- Execute preventative maintenance to eliminate mold, powdery mildew, spider mites, root aphids, fungus gnats, etc.
- Assist in rodent and other pest management protocols
- Working knowledge of Ebb & Flow, DWC and Aeroponics growing methods, including an in-depth knowledge of PH; PPM and EC count.
- Working knowledge of soil growing methods including micronutrients, beneficial bacteria and nutrient implementation
- Working knowledge of deep-water and top-water container systems using soil and hydroponics
- Knowledge of plant diseases, insects and fungi, as well as treatments.
Qualifications:

The Brand Marketing Manager (BMM) is responsible for adapting a brand strategy for the company's target
market. As the 'brand guardian', brand marketing managers maintain brand integrity across all company marketing initiatives and communications. The BMM is the person who will shape Item 9 Labs outward image. Will be responsible for uncovering consumer insights and delivering on innovative marketing campaigns consistently throughout the year. Create and develop an annual brand marketing plan and calendar for the AZ market that aligns with overall company strategies.
Collaborate with peers to ensure best brand practices are being utilized daily.
Plan out social content and messaging throughout year to speak to overall marketing strategies and sales incentives.
Communicate best practices and challenges from market analysis to Vice President of Marketing and Sales Team.
Collaborate with sales counterparts to execute programs and strategic partnerships that promote sales.
Develop a network of Item 9 Labs fans, build those relationships and utilize them as resources for access to the target market.
Report the status of consumer marketing activities and communicate consumer feedback; interpret findings; make recommendations. Monitor and communicate the activity of competitor brands in the market.
Detailed bi-weekly recap reports and monthly analytic recaps to be managed and produced for Vice President of Marketing.
Qualifications:
Education: College degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Marketing, Communications or related study preferred.
Experience: Ideally, 4â€6 years experience in marketing, advertising, promotions, or related consumerâ€focused field.
Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to executives

CAD Technician
- Work with VP of Construction, Unity Rd Franchisee and Architects to design dispensaries throughout the US
- Work with VP of Construction and VP of Cultivation to design floor plans for upcoming expansion projects
- Create high-quality detailed technical drawings and plans based on designs supplied by architects and designers and make modifications to existing drawings
- Use a variety of CAD software programs to create designs in 2D and 3D models

Grow Technician
Grow Technicians are responsible to work as a team to ensure prime growth, quality, appearance and health of plants. Communication skills, organization, attention to safety and detail, and time management are critical to the success of the cultivator and the overall success of Item 9 Labs.

About the Position:
The Director of Supply Chain is responsible for the execution of cannabis and non-cannabis procurement process, supporting supply chain and finance functions as it pertains to sourcing initiatives. The Director of Supply Chain will work closely with outside, cannabis and non-cannabis suppliers and service providers and with our internal Finance, Retail, and Production teams.
The ideal candidate will adapt to our business model and has demonstrated procurement experience, as this position will provide supply chain initiative support with the Supply Chain Manager and Finance. This position will report to the Chief Franchise Officer with expected occasional travel to Unity Rd. facilities and dispensaries.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the purchase of all cannabis, cannabis infused and non-cannabis products and services for the Unity Rd. shops.
- Work closely with Accounts Payable to ensure invoices are received and processed in a timely manner.
- Assist in the management of cannabis and non-cannabis suppliers and outside contractors, including their invoices/payments, insurance/compliance, and paperwork/records from visits, etc.
- Assist in the maintenance of contracts and approved vendor lists (suppliers and service providers); list should include secondary and tertiary vendor options as well.
- Confirm that routine preventative and maintenance visits are being conducted at retail locations.
- Support shipping/receiving, transportation and logistics, and security and facilities maintenance.

- Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.

- Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field or experience equivalent.

The Brand Marketing Manager (BMM) is responsible for adapting a brand strategy for the company's target

The Trade Marketing Coordinator will develop and execute a strategic trade marketing plan inclusive of events, POP, retail promotions calendar, major events, and trade shows. The ideal candidate will work alongside sales leaders to create a calendar of promotions and events, inclusive of activating social, education and creative teams to pull of execution of omni-channel marketing programs. This individual will be responsible for ensuring digital merchandising and social programs are activated to support core programs. CAD Technician
- Work with VP of Construction, Unity Rd Franchisee and Architects to design dispensaries throughout the US
- Work with VP of Construction and VP of Cultivation to design floor plans for upcoming expansion projects
- Create high-quality detailed technical drawings and plans based on designs supplied by architects and designers and make modifications to existing drawings
- Use a variety of CAD software programs to create designs in 2D and 3D models

Grow Technician
Grow Technicians are responsible to work as a team to ensure prime growth, quality, appearance and health of plants. Communication skills, organization, attention to safety and detail, and time management are critical to the success of the cultivator and the overall success of Item 9 Labs.
Duties:
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Maintain established growing protocols and nutrient regiment per specific SOPs related to bloom/flower growing phases
- Give individual plants tailored attention based on standards directed by the Director of Cultivation
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly tasks provided by the Director of Cultivation to keep the cannabis plants healthy and disease-free
- Execute preventative maintenance to eliminate mold, powdery mildew, spider mites, root aphids, fungus gnats, etc.
- Assist in rodent and other pest management protocols
- Working knowledge of Ebb & Flow, DWC and Aeroponics growing methods, including an in-depth knowledge of PH; PPM and EC count.
- Working knowledge of soil growing methods including micronutrients, beneficial bacteria and nutrient implementation
- Working knowledge of deep-water and top-water container systems using soil and hydroponics
- Knowledge of plant diseases, insects and fungi, as well as treatments.

Lab Technicians will be responsible for turning received oils from the extraction department and creating bulk formulated products through various methods but not limited to, high through put automated cart production operation. Also responsible for the accurate data notation and labeling of finished bulk goods, handling and the sorting, packing, planning, and labeling of outgoing shipments for the Company.
Duties:
- Filling distillate cartridges via automated fill and press equipment and manually via glass syringe operation
- Analytical balance operation hotplate/stir plate operation
- Prepares cannabinoid concentrates from primary into secondary refinement processing
- Assists in inventory management as required by the lab manager and/or lab director
- Record keeping and documentation of all bulk and unit-based products as they are produced
- Resolves problems by examining and evaluating data
- Performs basic algebraic calculations with respect to bulk and unit-based formulated products
- Maintain laboratory and equipment cleanliness to meet the state and local requirements
- Perform clerical work related to laboratory activities
- Lab technicians will be required to lift 20-50 lbs during shifts
- Assist in Packaging and Labeling Accuracy
- Assists in QA inquiries, with Director of Lab Services
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years laboratory experience in chemistry, biology, physics, and/or engineering. Education requirements subject to waiver based on experience
- 1-2 years of hands-on cannabis experience either in a production, manufacturing, or distribution setting
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must stay current and adhere to all policy and regulations of the Arizona Department of Health Services and company policies in the areas he/she operates

The Lead Trimmer is primarily responsible for the day-to-day trim work in accordance with standards set by the company. Providing direct support for all trimmers, training, policy and procedure updates, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedure including managing and tracking trim.
