I. POSITION SUMMARY:
Dispensary Sales Associate sells regulated and non-regulated merchandise to customers coping with chronic, acute or other serious medical conditions. This position will carry out responsibilities of Sales Associate 5 days a week. Position Overview: The Inventory Manager is responsible for the overall management of inventory for the Upstate family of Cannabis brands. The position will manage inventory levels and optimal safety stocking based on seasonal demand for all finished goods including THC products, CBD products, and Cannabis gardening hard goods. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are required. This is a hybrid position, and some on-site work is required weekly at the Factory Store in Burlington, VT.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overall management of Cin7 and Dutchie inventory management systems.
- Works with cross-functional teams to monitor inventory control procedures for purchase orders, stock adjustments, branch transfers, and sales orders. Troubleshoots issues when they arise.
- Manages Stock Trim to forecast gardening hard goods and finished CBD products, taking into consideration lead times, new product launches, and sales growth.
- Manages transfers between branch locations and schedules transportation with Logistics Manager.
- Manages inventory reconciliations for all branches and maintains weekly, monthly, and quarterly reconciliation schedules.
- Creates detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations, and stock levels. Analyzes data to anticipate future needs, and places orders to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus. Ensures that data is available to all departments in regard to inventory, trends, unit forecasts, etc. Monitors out-of-stock items and communicates shortages to company stakeholders.
- Works closely with COO to ensure THC inventory is managed in compliance with Vermont Cannabis Control Board regulations.
- Works closely with purchasing to control inventory levels and evaluates suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience managing inventory in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) or Cannabis industry.
- An understanding of batch tracking processes and gross margin analysis is required. Experience with Cannabis seed-to-sale tracking is a plus.

- Monitors Green State Dispensary’s property and immediate surrounding areas, (e.g., parking lot, property line, and internal access points, etc.)
- Performs and documents scheduled and random inspection patrols of physical premises
- Observes, cautions, instructs, corrects, investigates, and reports persons or incidents involving unusual suspicious or unwanted activity such as vandalism, property damage, or rule infractions
- Identifies potential security and safety risks, or undesirable conditions and reports such activities according to Green State
Dispensary’s reporting protocols
- Responds to all emergencies including, but not limited to, medical emergencies, undesirable conduct, violations of company policies or civil law; assists until proper authorities arrive
- Conducts crowd control at the front door and in the dispensary area, forming lines and updating customers to help manage their service expectations during busy periods
- Determines admission or denial to any visitor or customer, questioning and removing persons as necessary; coordinates actions with Safety Manager, and/or Manager-on-Duty as needed
- Communicates with Store Manager, other Managers and Shift Supervisors, and dispensary staff to handle safety concerns
- Interfaces with local law enforcement and security agencies as situations require
- Documents any irregularity, incident, or emergency actions concerning safety and security, completing all required paperwork
- Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Complies with Green State Dispensary’s dress code requirements

I. POSITION SUMMARY:
Dispensary Sales Associate sells regulated and non-regulated merchandise to customers coping with chronic, acute or other serious medical conditions. This position will carry out responsibilities of home delivery program approximately 5 days a week. Applicants for this position must be 21 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license to cover home delivery routes and a satisfactory driving record.

Position Overview: Upstate Elevator seeks a Digital Marketing Manager to optimize the company’s direct to consumer marketing strategy and to drive continued growth in our rapidly growing eCommerce channel. The position will work directly with the Executive Team to develop and manage digital strategy. A strong knowledge of the digital landscape is required – including researching and evaluating industry trends, the competitive landscape, and new technologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages the company’s digital programs including Affiliate, Email, Loyalty, Reviews, SMS, and Subscription.
- Works with Web Developer to optimize websites, microsites, and landing pages in collaboration with In House Design. Focuses on web optimizations to drive average order, conversion rate & overall traffic. Analyzes website performance, as well as other key data sets, to identify areas of opportunity.
- Community management of paid and organic social media. Develops and distributes content and promotions via social media to raise brand awareness and inspire community engagement,
- Uses Google Analytics and other data to measure site traffic and to analyze and optimize campaign performance. Builds and implements strategies (segmentation, triggers, flows, A/B tests) to improve critical metrics.
Partners with the customer service team to ensure website and customer experience is holistic and on-brand.
- Identifies opportunities for new digital products/platforms and makes recommendations to management regarding their potential impact and value.
- May include managing agency partnerships as needed for SEO, paid media, paid search, and paid social.
- Oversees the compilation and analysis of the company’s market research efforts. Identifies demographics of existing customer channel usage, opportunities for millennial growth and development, as well as emerging markets. Continually monitors targeted market needs and changing desires.
- Maintains an understanding of hemp and cannabis industry regulations and restrictions regarding digital marketing.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree required. Master’s degree in business management or marketing preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years digital marketing experience.
- Experience with Klaviyo, Google Analytics, WooCommerce and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Strong project management and analytical skills, attention to detail, and a natural aptitude for organization and leadership.
- Proven track record of collaborative problem solving with senior management and business leaders to achieve business goals.
- Experience with hemp, CPG, and/or supplement industry is a plus.

Monarch and the Milkweed (Home of MILKWEED Cannabis Confections) is looking for a lead Pastry Chef/Confection Production Manager! This is a full-time position (36 - 40+ hours per week) and hours are flexible! This position is responsible for meeting agreed upon pars on all confections (including chocolates, gummies, marshmallows, etc.), among other expected and normal responsibilities consistent with working in a professional environment where food is produced.
We value someone who can self-manage to achieve agreed upon goals (key), manage a small team in the near future (this is a solo position currently, but that will change within the next 6 months), values being part of an upstart confection/chocolate company, and someone who enjoys change and growth, both personally and with our company and team (we are growing across state lines soon and oversight and assistance/leadership with this growth is a plus and will come with higher compensation long term!). Candidates should have previous chocolate/confection/pastry experience on any level. Our small MILKWEED team is career-focused and we value long term carefully-made decisions.
Starting compensation is dependent on experience and will range from $42K annual – $58K annual ($20 - $28 per hour if we discuss and agree on an hourly rate instead of salary depending on circumstances of the candidate – you!). Compensation will change/increase over time as a result of the company succeeding at its goals and the candidate’s position succeeding at those goals contributing to the company’s success. Starting compensation will be the result of a thoughtful discussion with our small team. You would be one of three leading managers of MILKWEED Cannabis Confections. Some other food prep work for our restaurant/bar (Monarch) will be required as well, at least initially. Compensation package will come with paid-for time off and some benefits (these benefits do not currently include healthcare coverage but will likely in the future). All details of compensation and job description will be discussed with you and then documented for you after details are decided upon.

Your day will be spent helping our valued customers to choose from a large selection of products, listening to customers’ needs and educating them on our array of products and services. And because our products and services change regularly, you will continually learn about new and exciting ways to care for our customers. You will develop a rapport with them because they come back to us on a regular basis. You will respond to emails, answer phone calls, and schedule customer appointments.
When needed, you will assist your Team with daily inventory and work on the sales floor.
