We are currently seeking a Part-Time Business Development Assistant to be based in Mt Pleasant, MI or remote (US). This position will be up to 25 hours per week.
As a key member of the business team, the Business Development Assistant performs a wide range of duties associated with increasing sales of services for the Company. Duties are:
- Assessment of marketing opportunities and target markets
- Intelligence gathering on customers and competitors
- Generating leads for possible sales

The Inventory Lead must display a passion for ensuring our retail stores maintain an excellent supply of all products and materials according to the stocking requirements of the Lume business. The Responsibilities
- Manage the deconsolidation of bulk flower into sellable inventory
- Ensure the availability of all packaging, and processing materials
- Notify supply chain when packages are eligible for transfer from Medical inventory to Adult-Use inventory
- Complete MRA inventory request sheet with necessary information
- Manage the physical inventory storage in compliance with MRA storage requirements (Rule 38)
- Repackage and label new Adult-Use product in accordance with the MRA label requirements (Rule 39)
- Order and Maintain adequate SKU inventory levels for the Lume line plan
- Order and Maintain adequate inventory of supplies: Packaging, compliance labels, PPE etc
- Manage Unifirst and Greenguard visits to ensure proper levels of cleaning and first aid supplies
- Identify and communicate slow / nonmoving items
- Maintain healthy product flow
- Responsible for inventory receipt entry in POS
- Ensure that all sellable products within the facility are available
- Maintain a healthy balance of products between vault/fulfillment rooms when applicable
- Communicate product needs/trends to the supply chain and purchasing teams
- Certify that all product information is accurate such as product details and pricing information
- Maintain online customer-facing presence on Weedmaps, Leafly, and Lume product menu

- Repair PC and server hardware failures.

- Provide assistance with and training in the use of LIMS/DM software in cases where others are unable to resolve.
- Program new quality control automation, instrument/LIMS interfaces, and LIMS user interfaces.

What we are looking for:

The Lead Budtender (Sales Associate) – Key Holder is responsible for creating a world class customer experience for every customer. JARS Cannabis is seeking a Retail General Manager to plan and manage all aspects of day-to-day tasks in our high volume cannabis dispensary. The Retail General Manager leads a team of assistant & inventory managers and is accountable for all aspects of managing a single retail store as well as all other projects and duties assigned.

- Communicate with and coach staff on a regular basis to ensure the dispensary's excellence in sales & service

- Identify under-performing metrics and develop strategies that leverage company programs, tools, and resources to improve and grow the business
- Promote a culture of teamwork by working alongside the management team, establishing priorities, and providing clear direction
- Be knowledgeable of, and ensure compliance with JARS policies, procedures, and standards
- Oversee Inventory Manager to ensure all tasks are being done in accordance with JARS policies as well as CRA and State laws
- Ensure e-commerce pages and online menus are up to date and accurate

The Post-Harvest Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of trimming staff and the day to day tasks associated with weekly harvests and cutting. This position will inspect product for quality assurance to ensure procedures are being followed and meet specific requirements set forth by the Cultivation Manager.
They will be responsible for weighing, labeling and curing the flower. Post-Harvest Manager must have 2 years experience in cultivation/post harvest and adhere to local and state laws and regulations related to marijuana production and keep up to date on changes to those laws and regulations.

What we are looking for:
JARS is seeking an Assistant Manager who will be responsible for assisting in managing all day-to-day operations of the dispensary in accordance with the state, CRA and Company rules and policies. What we are looking for:

What we are looking for:
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Retail Representative, who share our passion to provide quality products and excellent customer care experience to patients who need them and who support the JARS Cannabis core values and culture. The Retail Representative works closely and collaboratively with the store assistant leadership and reports to the General Manager.
A Retail Representative is responsible for providing our customers with exceptional service by meeting individual needs, exceeding expectations, and demonstrating excellent knowledge of the variety of cannabis products, deals & promotions we offer.
Job Duties
- Assesses the needs of each customer, provides appropriate product knowledge, and conducts each transaction with accuracy and efficiency
- Ability to use suggestive selling strategies and must be able and willing to upsell all customers
- Ability to take constructive criticism and be coached by upper management
- Assist with inventory tasks when needed
- Works scheduled shifts and follows the company’s attendance policy
- Follows all safety and CRA rules policies

What we are looking for:
JARS Cannabis is seeking a Retail Inventory Manager to our growing retail team. Our Retail Inventory Manager will be responsible for involved inventory recording, compliance, and accuracy in all phases of the retail sales of cannabis products in the dispensary. Ideal candidates will have a working knowledge of cannabis industry software systems. The Inventory Manager will be responsible for overseeing all products systematically received into inventory and METRC/LeafLogix, physical organization, tagging and labeling, and maintaining inventory accuracy within the store operations.
Job Duties
· Maintain inventory in compliance with state regulations as well as assist in the implementation of the company's policies and operating procedures on inventory controls
· Monitoring and coaching the Inventory Assistant in all department-related tasks and duties
· Defining/implementing quality control parameters and intake, inspection and proper storage of products & invoices
· Manages all data entry into LeafLogix and METRC
· Coordinates all invoice reconciliation with Accounts Payable team
· Ensure products are received within METRC system and have appropriate labels before making goods available for sale
· Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and assist other departments when needed
· Identifies theft or diversion of products and reports incidents directly
· Investigate errors and deficiencies in inventory and ensure proper reconciliation, record and solving.
· Maintain an accurate log of inventory for disposal
· Oversee METRC and LeafLogix platforms are being accurately managed and maintained for accuracy of data
· Help determine, initiate, and execute subsequent corrective actions
· Collect, audit, and file required paperwork to ensure state compliance
· Effectively communicate with management to ensure the business has a consistent supply of inventory available to meet needs

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Inventory Management experience in retail or hospitality field required
- Previous experience in data entry position is required
- Experience in wholesale logistics is preferred, but not required

The budtender is responsible for interacting with and building positive relationships with patients. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- 1-2 years minimum experience in regulated cannabis cultivation preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to pass a background check
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- This position requires a lot of sitting, walking, bending and reaching.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, lift objects on a regular basis, and perform daily repetitive tasks.
- The close visual focus required.

Essential Responsibilities
- Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs

Position Summary:

This position will manage, order, report, and monitor the company’s inventory. This position is crucial as the efficient handling of the company’s products and supplies is vital for the attainment of business goals. A successful inventory manager is a reliable professional with excellent record-keeping abilities. They possess great attention to detail and a business mindset. The goal is to ensure that all business operations have adequate material to achieve their objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
Inventory Control
- Insure Inventory transactions are timely entered and updated
- Insure all cannabis reconciliation is regularly completed including matching physical and METRC amounts
- Track movement of all cannabis within building and between departments
Planning, Data & Analysis
- Participate in planning and execution of harvest, testing and packaging of cannabis products
- Create and maintain necessary records and inventory reports for all cannabis and non-cannabis products

Communication

Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age

Job Purpose:
A highly-motivated “people-person” to support the daily operations of the Provisioning Center facility including; direct patient and caregiver sales, cash handling processes, inventory management, customer service, regulatory compliance, patient communication, patient education and orientation, patient information management, and all steps necessary to maintain compliance with state law/regulations. Serve as the primary point of contact with facility customers and outwardly represent the organization’s values. The Sales Associate position reports directly to the Assistant Manager and Store Manager.
Duties:
- Adhere to all policies, process, procedures, roles, and responsibilities.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary and organized work environment.
- Must comply with HIPAA guidelines.
- Work with marketing team to increase sales and patient volumes.
- Communicate patient complaints, issues, etc. to management personnel.
- Communicate marketing, sales, and promotional opportunities and benefits to facility customers.
- Provide marketing, social media, and educational content recommendations to management.
- Secure and organize all patient files and assure new patient orientations are fully completed.
- Comply with company cash handling polices.
- Serve as primary contact at the facility to educate patients on medical marihuana medicinal properties and selection of proper genetics or products per the patient’s desired effect or per specific medical ailment.
- Manage POS and state Metrc database transnational entries.
- Assist management with verifying the receipt of new supplies and equipment, etc.
- Assist management in daily perpetual inventory system (BioTrackTHC POS).
- Maintain a culture of high quality customer service and patient communication.
- Execute customer service and quality surveys as assigned by management.
- Daily compliance with provisioning center policies including but not limited to; state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, inventory tracking, dress code, and work schedules.
- Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
- Assist with facility maintenance and troubleshooting as necessary including phone, utilities, technology, maintenance, repairs, stock and supplies. Notify management about operational issues (e.g. HVAC, security systems, plumbing, technology, etc.).
- Contribute to team environment and company advancement per strategic direction set by management.
- Notify manager about any customer or product concerns.
- Participate in company charitable or community events.
Skills/qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Customer service and retail experience highly valued.
- Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and patience with facility customers and co-workers.
- Strong problem solving, communication and organizational skills, anticipatory thinking, calculating, multi-tasking, attention to details, conflict resolution, teamwork, and professionalism, accountability, and proactive active behavior.

Founded in 2019, the Company will operate vertically integrated cannabis production and retail facilities with a focus on cultivation, processing, and retail distribution. The Company intends to expand its business model to multi state operations through 2022.
Stash Ventures LLC is a family owned and operated business with a purpose driven culture and long term forward outlook. Currently, the Company is provisionally licensed in Michigan for 3 medical Class C Cultivation licenses, (up to 4,500 plants grown under cover), as well as multiple medical cannabis provisioning center retail locations throughout Michigan. Construction for all facilities is underway.
The Director of Finance and Compliance provides strategic leadership of the financial operations and regulatory compliance for Stash Ventures LLC, and leads fiscal and financial functions, provides financial analysis and insight to the leadership team, and provides general leadership and direction to Company staff.
Responsibilities Will Include:
- Implement and manage Company’s ERP system, including financial reporting and inventory management functions.
- Analyze and evaluate financial performance of organization with regard to long-term operational goals, budgets and forecasts.
- Provide insight and recommendations to both short-term and long-term growth plans for the Company.
- Create and establish yearly financial objectives that align with the Company’s plan for growth and expansion.
- Participate in pivotal decisions as they relate to strategic initiatives and operational models.
- Implement policies, procedures and processes as deemed appropriate to ensure financial and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and present monthly financial budgeting reports including monthly profit and loss by division, forecast vs. budget by division and cash flow by division.
- Review and analyze monthly financial results and provide recommendations.
- Identify, develop and execute analysis of business initiatives, product launches and new lines of business as the Company expands.
- Manage financial planning and analysis directives.
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial and management reporting data for the Company’s board of directors, executive leadership team, and applicable third parties, including state regulators, auditors and the Company’s tax advisor.
- Remain up to date with impending and new regulatory changes, including in state and federal cannabis operating and licensing regulations, and communicate any changes effectively.
- Develop and implement action plans to proactively respond to changes in state and federal regulations.
- Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and participate in round table discussions and planning meetings.
- Communicate, engage and interact with the CEO, COO and executive leadership team. Act as a strategic business partner to the senior executive leadership team.
Qualified Individuals Will Be Expected To Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics and 10 or more years of progressive financial experience within the manufacturing and ideally retail industries. A Master’s degree, combined with a CPA, CMA, or CFA designation are highly desirable.
- Experience and skill in supply chain finance, financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, cost accounting, inventory accounting, financial reporting, GAAP knowledge, and finance and accounting compliance. Experience working in the cannabis industry is preferable.
- Experience with ERP system implementation, including set up, standard operating procedures, and ongoing system management.
- Self accountability, high standard of performance, productivity and initiative to effectively lead the strategic financial direction of Stash Ventures LLC.
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex numerical data effectively, and clearly relay information to ensure an understanding to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to effectively operate in a fast paced environment conducive to a start-up business, and quickly adapt to change, including as a result of both market and regulatory drivers.
- Ability to produce financial and compliance related deliverables, both internally and externally to regulators and third party auditors.
- Advanced Excel skills, high degree of computer literacy, ability to learn new softwares, and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
- Professional and personal integrity that will inspire trust and confidence among company owners, coworkers, subordinates, and regulatory officials.
- Supervisory skills that support the development of financial and compliance staff and create an environment which fosters growth and innovation.
