Summary:
An opportunity to be involved on the ground floor of the Ohio Medical Marijuana Control Program with Ancient Roots. Ancient Roots is a Level II Medical Marijuana Cultivation and Processing facility located in Wilmington, OH. We have a very robust portfolio of products which we will expand upon as we continue to build our unique brand. Candidate will be the primary sales point of contact with dispensaries throughout Ohio. This includes relationship building, providing ongoing support and service, promoting and building our brand, creative marketing and merchandising as well as tracking sales data and market demands.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the Wholesale Team in strategizing, marketing, relationship building and direct sales. Oversee and develop client accounts and dispensary relationships. Lead the Wholesale Team in achieving monthly and annual sales goals.
- Set Brand Ambassador's weekly meetings, schedules and routes.
- Formulate creative and strategic ideas to boost product sales and customer engagement.
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing quarterly sales quotas. Identify new opportunities for product development, or gaps in marketplace
- Create and manage marketing communications including menu blasts, newsletters and product databases.
- Maintain up to date product availability information in retail software including I Heart Jane and Dutchie
- Work with the Marketing Consultant to develop marketing campaigns and promotional materials
- Work with dispensaries on product placement, displays and merchandising
- Strengthen social media presence across all platforms work with the Marketing Team on SEO strategies
- Communicate with executive management about marketing initiatives and brainstorm fresh strategies
- Establish Sales Plans, including monthly/weekly sale forecasts, budgets, and results measurements; allocates departmental resources; reviews progress and making mid-course corrections.
- Develops and tracks retailer pricing and strategy for visibility into distribution, promotions, pricing, shelf management and quality measures.
- Ensure appropriate training is administered to all Sales Ambassadors.
- Management of the cannabis B2B sales software, LeafLink, including assisting partners with entering Leaflink orders as needed, ensuring all credit memos, promotions, and discounts are reflected appropriately.
- Develop and manage team travel, overhead expenses and promotional budgets.
- Tracking and managing performance of assigned brand ambassadors and scheduling on site visits to retail locations as well as training new hires on sales operations
- Support Inventory, Delivery and Compliance with order fulfillment from time to time
- Attend cannabis events in representation of the company from time to time.
- Measure success of promotions, strategize new cost effective ways to advertise product.
- Partner with marketing team to ensure all online marketplace images and descriptions are up to date and accurate
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of the companies products
- Respond to patient complaints, and customer service inquiries as needed in partnership with other sales team members, and track appropriately.
- Track and monitor accounts receivable aging reports and ensure all accounts are current
- Travel throughout Southern Ohio checking in physically with the managers and buyers of the stores as well as managing dinners and events with those key stakeholders

Requirements
- 2-4 years in cannabis wholesale and marketing
- Cannabis knowledge required

In this role you will help manage the greenhouse production of hydroponic baby greens and other crops for our operations throughout the U.S. In addition, the Growers will be trained to develop into more advanced roles at our existing and future facilities.
Working closely with a skilled growing team, you will:
Greenhouse Environment: The Grower will be responsible for managing all environmental controls of the greenhouse using Priva greenhouse environmental control software. The grower will work closely with BrightFarms Director of Agriculture to determine ideal computer set points and ensure proper conditions are achieved.- Pond Environment: The Grower will be responsible for controlling all parameters related to the maintenance of healthy and productive production ponds. Fertility and pH management, thermal management, pond aeration, pond sanitation, and pond mechanicals will be the responsibility of the Grower.
- Greenhouse IPM: The Grower will be responsible for ensuring the product is free of insect pest and disease. - Production. The Grower will support the General Manager and will be accountable for revenue, for operating expenses, for quality and for the operation of the facility. This includes production (WIP and people) planning and reporting, plant performance, labor management, balancing inputs, throughput & demand, and facilities maintenance.
- Cleanliness & Food Safety. The Grower will support the General Manager and will be accountable for maintaining a neat and orderly greenhouse facility. The Grower will work closely with the General Manger to ensure that the food safety program meets all compliance requirements.
- Lead. Required Qualifications

The Compliance and Inventory Manager will be responsible for -
- Maintaining accountability of all raw materials, finished products, and any by-products.

They will work closely with the Director of Agriculture to develop, implement, and maintain a biologically based IPM program and any chemical applications required. All scouting and record keeping will be the responsibility of the grower. The Grower will be required to get a pesticide license for the District of Columbia.

Post-Harvest Technicians are responsible for a myriad of duties, including, but not limited to assisting with the harvest process, manicuring all product for final packaging, monitoring quality of all product and potentially assisting in deliveries of finished and packaged product. Post-Harvest Technicians are responsible for keeping their station and tools clean and organized. Post-Harvest Technicians must inject good energy and work well with all team members, as well as maintaining a professional etiquette and attitude at all time. The ability to follow direction, be consistent, punctual, and contribute to a culture that insists on the highest-degree of following compliance and regulations are required.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
