Job Title: Confection Associate
Job Type: Manufacturing

Position Objective:
The Confection Associate is responsible for departmental performance. Tasks include , departmental productivity, daily reporting to assigned Manager, PM record keeping and scheduling, data analysis and entry, and cleanliness of the production area.
Engaging in the full range of operations of the Manufacturing Facility to produce cannabis products. Our confection department is a fast-paced work environment that requires attention to detail. The individual must have a good understanding of the RLD rules and regulations along with proper food handing and sanitation procedures. The work performed by the employee shall be under the general supervision of the Facility Manager.
Essential Functions:

Produce/infuse cannabis edible products in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures.

Sanctuary Medicinals in Apopka, FL is looking for one cannabis kitchen associate to join our 77 person strong team. We are located on 251 E Keene Rd. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

*Infuses all types of products with cannabis oil/distillate using formulas acquired after reading the test results from the cannabis oil. *Ensures all batches made are clean and free of defects. *Daily kitchen prep *Track all product once it is brought into the kitchen using the tracking system up until it leaves the kitchen *Meet daily production quotas *They must adhere to local and state laws and regulations related to marijuana production and keep up to date on changes to those laws and regulations. *Clean tools and workspace daily *Keep machines and tools in good working order. *Keep a close eye for contaminates *Record all weights as per regulations *Help in other departments as needed

Qualifications

Must keep very close track of all product and how it is being handled. Must also keep a clean/organized demeaner and work area.

Qualifications include:

*High school education *Organized *Computer proficient *Must be over 21 *Must have valid drivers license *Must be able to pass a background check *Must be servsafe certified

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will work in multiple ground-level production processes including; Kitchen, Packaging, and Oil Portioning to create the finished cannabis infused products at our Denver, Colorado Kitchen and Warehouse. As business demands change this role will be responsible for kitchen duties including food preparation, kitchen cleanup, kitchen setup, cleaning, and dishwashing; as well as packaging duties including inserting edibles into packaging, affixing labels to packaging, boxing packages, portioning cannabis oil, filling pens and packaging other products as needed. This role operates in a fast-paced assembly line environment to accomplish larger production goals with the rest of the team. Employees should be aware of, and able to maintain Marijuana Enforcement Division and Health Department regulations and handle food products in a sanitized work-space.

POSSIBLE JOB DUTIES

1. Kitchen functions may include (but not limited to) pouring chocolate, making gummies, prep-work, and cleaning.

2. Packaging functions may include (but not limited to) inserting candy into packaging, applying labels, and boxing packages for distribution.

3. Oil portioning and pen filling include (but not limited to) gramming cannabis oil and injecting oil into pen cartridges and other products.

4. Other product packaging as needed.

5. Employee will clean their designated area in accordance with standard operating procedures.

6. Help manage inventories by following plan of production laid out by managers each day.

7. Ensure dishes and pots and pans are washed after shifts.

8. Attend meetings when requested.

9. Sweep and mop area, general cleaning.

10. Receive and put away orders and deliveries in storeroom and freezer on days needed.

11. Perform heavy cleaning, such as ovens and etc, when needed.

12. Perform other duties as required.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

1. Possess or able to obtain a Support badge from Colorado MED

2. Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

3. Work experience in food services.

4. Knowledge of health code and MED regulations.

5. Reliable transportation.

6. Perform simple math and follow recipes

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Infuses all types of products with cannabis oil/distillate using formulas acquired after reading the test results from the cannabis oil. * Ensures all batches made are clean and free of defects. *Daily kitchen prep * Track all product once it is brought into the kitchen using the tracking system up until it leaves the kitchen * Meet daily production quotas * They must adhere to local and state laws and regulations related to marijuana production and keep up to date on changes to those laws and regulations. * Clean tools and workspace daily * Keep machines and tools in good working order. * Keep a close eye for contaminates *Record all weights as per regulations

Job Responsibilities:

Requirements and Qualifications:

Physical Requirements:

Highbrow has a craft cannabis edibles kitchen that is growing and looking to add to our team. About the Job:
The Kitchen Associate will weigh, label, and package edibles and concentrates produced at the facility. The Kitchen Associate will also ensure quality control by strictly following company SOPs. About the Job:
The Kitchen Associate will weigh, label, and package edibles and concentrates produced at the facility. The Kitchen Associate will also ensure quality control by strictly following company SOPs. The Kitchen Associate is responsible for cleaning and facility upkeep while adhering to all company policy and industry regulations.

• Perform production work by following company SOPs


• Measure ingredients and products accurately so that optimal levels of production are met

About the Job:
The Kitchen Associate will weigh, label, and package edibles and concentrates produced at the facility. The Kitchen Associate will also ensure quality control by strictly following company SOPs. The Kitchen Associate is responsible for cleaning and facility upkeep while adhering to all company policy and industry regulations.

• Perform production work by following company SOPs


• Measure ingredients and products accurately so that optimal levels of production are met


• Weigh and store finished products ensuring that all pertinent information is recorded in logs


• Weigh, label, package, and log product for accurate inventory control


• Load and unload designated equipment

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This position will be responsible for the sanitation of the production facilities and common areas, including restrooms, at Medically Correct in Denver, CO. Responsibilities may include ensuring all necessary supplies and toiletries are stocked, common areas and restrooms are cleaned, walkways are free and clear for employees. This position works closely with the General Manager and Operations Manager to ensure a clean, compliant, enjoyable atmosphere for the rest of the employees and the Company as a whole. This position is in the Colorado legal cannabis industry and requires a current Colorado MED badge to be worn at all time.

POSSIBLE JOB DUTIES (incl. but not limited to)

Responsible for making sure the following duties are accomplished daily:

• Restrooms are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies (soap, toilet paper, etc.)
• All common use areas and walk ways are swept, mopped, or vacuumed
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, molds, etc.
• Clean and dust: offices, conference rooms, multi use areas including breakrooms, hallways, and windows/seals, front door entrance
• Trash receptacles emptied in these areas and taken to outside dumpsters
• Assist in snow shoveling and ice melt application for icy walkways

This position operates out of our production kitchen in Denver, CO where we produce cannabis infused edibles products such as Nové, Quiq, and the award winning incredibles brand. As business demands change, this role will be responsible for kitchen duties including food prep, pouring, mixing, kitchen cleanup, kitchen setup, cleaning, and dishwashing, as well as the packaging and distribution of finished products. Employees in this role should be punctual and dependable in order to follow a strict production schedule while working closely in a team driven environment to accomplish larger production goals. Employees in this role need to be aware of, and able to maintain Marijuana Enforcement Division and Health Department regulations while handling food products in a sanitized work-space.
