The cultivation associate provides support for the activities and operations of the commercial Cannabis Cultivation facility, while abiding by laws, rules, policies, procedures and operational guidelines.
What you'll do day to day:
Complete assigned tasks, and projects of the Cannabis Cultivation Department set out by the facility manager. Main tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Care for and maintain plants through mother, clone, veg, and flower stages
- Transplanting and relocation of plants at each stage and documenting in State traceability program
- Inspect, maintain, and collect data for cultivation or greenhouse systems including irrigation, air flow, temperature and humidity, and other production systems
- Harvesting plants and documenting in State traceability program
- Trimming and pruning plants and documenting in State traceability program
- Scout for and identify pests, pathogens, mold, fungi, disease, or other undesired conditions
- Maintain clean and organized workspace
- Managing waste and documenting in State traceability program
- Maintain open communication with management team and co-workers
- Report employee issues or product situations
- Follow Fine Fettle safety policies
- Follow all SOPs, verbal directives, training information and policies when performing duties
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in commercial agriculture preferred
- Ability to listen well and communicate effectively orally and in writing with various audiences, especially with direct supervisors and co-workers
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all employees
- Basic math skills
- Understand applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures
- Ability to work alone and complete daily tasks without direct oversight
- Willingness to work on weekends/holidays is preferred
Additional Requirements
- Valid Massachusetts driver’s license
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Must pass CORI any and all required background checks, including financial.
- Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
Working Conditions
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform reaching, grasping, lifting, walking, standing, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: VERY LABOR INTENSIVE. Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance), may include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching.

Post Harvest Production Associate
FFDMV Cultivation/Production Facility
The Production Associate is responsible for supporting and assisting in all aspects of cannabis product management within the post harvest department. This position will be responsible for participating in fulfillment operations and activities within the warehouse following all established protocols including using various types of equipment. Priorities include assisting with harvest, branching, bucking, trimming, packaging, sealing, counting, sorting, labeling, and boxing while assisting with inventory control of product in preparation for product sale or transfer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow all procedures according to local and state regulations and company policies
- Maintaining operational excellence at all workstations/areas
- Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed
- Perform all opening and closing duties as required/assigned
- Adapt to all changes in business needs and product flow
- Promote a respectful work environment in daily actions with fellow employees and job tasks as the #1 priority
- Follow reasonable instructions from leadership team showing flexibility with all delegated tasks
- Contribute to the team morale by ensuring the highest level of engagement is consistently applied

- Maintain quality assurance of all packaged products in accordance with local and state regulations
- Utilize various heavy machinery to safely and efficiently produce and package cannabis products
- Partner with other departments to maintain efficiency and productivity throughout the production cycle
- Maintain sense of urgency to complete fulfillment deadlines and goals
- Assist in other duties as assigned to ensure the team, department, and company division maintain success
- Other duties both inner and across other departments as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Product Packaging / Handling Experience, 1+ years (preferred)
- Production / Manufacturing Experience, 1+ years (preferred)
- Cannabis Industry Experience (preferred)
- Basic Math, Organizational, and Computer Skills
- Dispensing Organization Agent Identification Card (able to obtain)
- Knowledge of basic weights and measures
- Must have High School Diploma or GED
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

FFD kitchen staff work as a team to produce high quality cannabis edibles. The goal is to optimize kitchen and cooking procedures to successfully create consistent, safe, delicious, quality edibles. Communication skills, organization, attention to safety, detail, and time management are critical to the success of our kitchen and to the continued success of FFD. The Kitchen Associate will weigh, label, and package edibles and concentrates produced at the facility. The Kitchen Associate is responsible for cleaning and facility upkeep while adhering to all company policy and industry regulations. In this role, you will work with various instruments and equipment in a team-based environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform production work by following company SOPs
- Undertake basic kitchen duties, such as measuring ingredients and products accurately
- Meet set production deadlines by working efficiently with a sense of urgency
- Assist management in processing and testing of products, processes and procedures
- Weigh and store products ensuring that all pertinent information is recorded in logs
- Weigh, label, package, and log product for accurate inventory control
- Properly use and maintain designated equipment
- Process finished product to desired standards
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times
- Transport packaged product to designated storage area
- Clean and wash all dishes and equipment after use
- Responsible for kitchen sanitation and cleanliness
- Maintain current knowledge of and adhere to all applicable state and local policies and regulations
- Other duties as assigned, or any reasonable request from any member of management
QUALIFICATIONS
- Due to state regulations, qualified candidates for this position must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check – certain criminal convictions may disqualify candidates based on state medical marijuana licensing regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- Experience in food manufacturing operations strongly preferred
- Understanding of and adherence to FDA regulations
- Understanding of adherence to OSHA guidelines for workplace safety and hazardous chemicals
- Ability to work a varying schedule including nights, weekends, and overtime as necessary
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with standard office equipment
- Detail oriented and ability to communicate effectively
- ServSafe Certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires, and remain calm under pressure
- Strong work ethic and sound judgment
