The Cost Accountant is responsible for helping to plan, budget and monitor performance, set standard unit costs and recommend appropriate cost-saving opportunities. This person must be personable, proactive and able to interact and communicate with all levels. This is an on-site position in our Cultivation/Production facility in Easthampton, MA.

Essential Functions:

• Collecting and validating data to determine both fixed and variable costs of business activity such as rent, raw material purchases, inventory and labor
• Help in Building of BOMs for over 200 product SKUS from scratch
• Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost
• Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
• Recording cost information for use in controlling expenditures
• Recommending cost-saving options
• Performing ongoing reconciliations of various cost reports against ERP software systems to ensure accuracy
• Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services
• Initiating the month-end closing and reporting processes, which they in turn submit to management
• Performing physical inventory inspections and monitoring inventory management information systems
• Working with the year end auditors as needed throughout their testing and valuation of inventory

Qualifications:

• 4 year Accounting Undergraduate Degree required with Cost Accounting courses
• 0-2 years of similar or related experience required
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be proficient in Windows operating system
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with state regulations
• Must be willing to travel 5-10% of time
• Sitting, standing, and walking for several hours at a time

The Budtender/Greeter’s primary responsibility is to coordinate and facilitate sales transactions of the store and sustain a high level of customer service. The Budtender will provide superior service and guidance to customers. The Budtender will arrange and package customer orders, record sales in the POS system, and handle cash and cashless ATM transactions. The Budtender must maintain an organized environment and sustain a clean facility appearance. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Service and Facility Upkeep:

• Greet customers as they enter the dispensary. Provide orientations and tours for first time customers.
• Communicate with line coordinator to maintain customer traffic flow, minimize wait times, and maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
• Respond to and resolve customer requests, complaints or compliments in person, through email and on the phone requesting supervisor support as needed.
• Maintain organization of dispensary room through daily upkeep and light cleaning.
• Maintain quality and appearance of product through removing shake and stems, while checking for defective mold, mildew, expiration dates or defective products.

Payment Processing:

• Package customer orders while ensuring proper weight, labeling, and discounts are applied.
• Process payment for all customer purchases and provide a receipt for each purchase.
• Record specific requests, preferences and notifications for customers using the POS system.
• Maintain organization of cashier counter through daily light cleaning.

Cannabis Education and Guidance:

• Maintain knowledge of all products and services provided, as well as applicable state and local laws.
• Educate customers on options and methods, strain information, effectiveness for specific ailments and cultivation methods.
• Provide educational materials and resources for customers as needed.
• Maintain awareness of customer input and suggest changes to improve service or product.

Documentation:

• Ensure accurate information is recorded for all customer registration, sales and preferences.
• Communicate inventory levels with Team Leads to maintain accurate menus and update menus as needed.
• Coordinate with the Retail Sales Manager and Dispensary Manager as needed.

Safety and Security

Position Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Reports To: Facilities Manager

Position Summary

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the routine cleaning of all areas of the facility. This individual should have a general knowledge of proper cleaning practices to ensure the safety and cleanliness of all surfaces, restrooms, and trash disposal.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Sweeps and mops floors in all common and restricted areas on a daily basis
• Cleans all employee bathrooms on a daily basis, including cleaning toilet and sink surfaces, sweeping and mopping floors, trash removal, and restocking of paper towels and toilet paper
• Cleans hard surfaces periodically to remove dust
• Inspects buildings and supplies according to a pre-established checklist set by the Facility Manager to ensure the facility and its supplies are functional; prepare recommendations for needed repairs.
• Maintains a safe working environment, including wearing personal protective equipment, (PPE) ensuring proper storage of tools and equipment when not in use, using proper signage while working, etc.
  

Qualifications and Skills

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• High school diploma or GED required

• 3-5 years of experience working in a facilities maintenance position, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment, required

• Ability to identify cleaning and chemical supplies, to read and understand Hazard Communication Safety Data Sheets (SDS), to understand proper applications of chemicals and general cleaning supplies, and to frequently handle and properly dispose of these products

• Must be self-motivated and proactive about identifying areas for efficiency and improvement

The Verb is Herb currently seeking an experienced, passionate and detail-oriented Inventory Associate to assist in all dispensary inventory and fulfillment activities. With a strong focus on standard operating procedures, compliance and efficiency, the Inventory Specialist will be responsible for assisting with the dispensary’s inventory and counts of all items in stock as well as the accurate fulfillment of orders for the dispensary.

We are looking for:

Wemelco Industries is seeking an experienced candidate to handle all aspects of inventory management at a busy Cannabis Product Manufacturing facility. A detailed understanding of all State regulations regarding the labeling and packaging of cannabis products and ensuring compliance in all aspects pertaining to the inventory are required.

Position Summary: The Cultivation Technician I performs cannabis plant care in all stages of its life cycle. This position is responsible for following all sanitation, processing, and recordkeeping procedures in accordance with company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidance.

Essential Functions

• Completes regular plant maintenance including bottoming, thinning, topping, and spacing
• Completes transplanting (up-potting) to larger containers using proper techniques as dictated by SOPs

This individual should have a general working knowledge of construction, HVAC, and carpentry to perform simple maintenance action. Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting in cleaning, painting, construction, and loading and unloading of boxes. This individual should have a general working knowledge of construction, HVAC, and carpentry to perform simple maintenance action. This person works closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure all building equipment and systems are in good working order and oversees any repairs or installations when the scope of such projects are beyond routine.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Performs minor painting, carpentry, and masonry work (e.g. preparing surfaces and using brush, sprayer, or roller to apply paints, stains, and varnishes, hanging doors, fitting locks and handles, etc.)
• Inspects buildings and equipment according to a pre-established checklist set by the Facility Manager to ensure the facility and its systems are functional; prepare recommendations for needed repairs and schedules as necessary
• Reconfigures, installs, positions, and re-mounts modular offices and space (e.g. furniture, wall panels, work surfaces, storage bins, lighting, file cabinets, etc.) to accommodate user needs and maximize office space using various hand, power and specialty tools, dollies and hand trucks
• Prepares surfaces and paints various structures and equipment (e.g. walls, refrigerators, evaporative coolers, floors, roofs, doors, restroom facilities, etc.) to preserve wood and metal parts from corrosion and maintain a safe, comfortable working environment, using various painting equipment and related tools (e.g. sprayers, rollers, brushes, thinners, etc.)
• Maintains a safe working environment, including wearing personal protective equipment, (PPE) ensuring proper storage of tools and equipment when not in use, using proper signage while working, etc.
• Works with the Facility Manager to procure the best pricing for parts and equipment; retains required documents including equipment manuals, warranty information, and invoices
• Must have a flexible schedule to respond to issues or problems rapidly.
  

Qualifications and Skills

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• 3-5 years of experience working in a maintenance position, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment, required
• Ability to identify cleaning and chemical supplies, to read and understand Hazard Communication Safety Data Sheets (SDS), to understand proper applications of chemicals and general cleaning supplies, and to frequently handle and properly dispose of these products
• Must be self-motivated and proactive about identifying areas for efficiency and improvement
• Must be adaptable and open-minded when troubleshooting new procedures or implementation of new systems
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings or late evenings as needed according to departmental needs
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be committed to ensuring a secure facility and make sure all staff comply with established safety and security procedures

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for at least 8 hours per day
• Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to climb a ladder, kneel, stoop, and bend at the waist regularly
• Manual dexterity needed for completing equipment installations and maintenance
• Visual acuity needed for reading screens and fine print

Workplace Environment

• Building maintenance environment, indoor/outdoor, consisting of exposure to moving mechanical parts and seasonal temperature changes ranging from freezing to extreme heat
• May be exposed to high places, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and loud noises
• Consistent moderate to high background noise level due to machinery, environmental systems, and fans
• Exposure to cannabis odor
• Exposure to skin contact with plant resins, to which some individuals may be allergic (PPE provided)
• Exposure to moderate heat and humidity in bloom rooms

Job Description

The Sales Guide is the backbone of the dispensary, every interaction, large or small, strengthens our mission, and delivers an exceptional experience. They represent the face of the brand in the community and provide the highest standards of guest engagement. Our Sales Guides will be responsible for maintaining the culture of the business by protecting the Pleasantrees brand and showing compassion for our guests. In this position you are the final check on every sale making sure we are 100% compliant and inventory is accurately dispensed. Reporting to the General Manager, Sales Guides will also be responsible for maximizing sales and profitability by focusing on overall business initiatives. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION.

• Daily compliance with shop policies, including but not limited to state/local regulation, compliance, security protocols, access protocols, inventory tracking, dress code, receipt check, and work schedules
• Work closely with security and check-in to ensure an exceptional, seamless guest experience.
• Contributes to the safety and daily sanitation of the store.

Experience and Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced guest-centric environment.
• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug screening (excludes THC).
• Must be compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the Cannabis industry.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills.
