HR Business Partner/Manager, Cultivation
We are currently seeking a strategic HRBP/HR Manager to support our Cultivation facilities. You will be leading Human Resources activities and support our Business Leaders. You will be responsible for shaping the employee experience, ensuring the company's talent grows in meaningful ways, and ensuring business leaders and HR are as successful as possible. In this role, the HRBP/Manager contributes to and leads execution of People Team strategies and tactics to support the needs for 250+ employees located in Illinois, Arkansas, Missouri, and Florida. They will serve as an expert consultant to business leaders on all talent matters, including employee relations, organizational effectiveness, leader effectiveness, organizational design, learning needs/opportunities and conflict resolution.
This role works on site and is based in the Delavan at our facility in Delavan, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Craft and execute the local talent management strategy and own the ongoing support for people development.
- Regularly meet with managers and employees across the cultivation facilities both virtually and in person.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of regulations related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing risk and ensuring compliance. Partners with the People and legal department as needed.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to managers (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Work closely with Operations leadership, site General Managers, department managers and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires in our cultivation facilities.
- Work cross-functionally with IT, security, and talent acquisition to ensure all hardware, software, badging and physical requirements are met prior to new hire's first day
- Use data and analytics to help drive insights and performance metrics.
- Manage projects and other assignments as needed.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or higher
- 5+ years' experience in a Human Resource Generalist or Business Partner role
- Working knowledge of HRIS and ATS systems
- Operate with a high level of integrity and discretion
- Strategic thinker skilled at solving sophisticated business problems
- Outstanding communicator with strong influence skills & ability to build positive relationships

Security Officers are responsible for maintaining the safety and security of all assets at the assigned location according to established company standard operating procedure and post orders. The Lab Technician will be responsible for assisting in product processing and formulation. The Lab Technician completes tasks assigned by the Extraction Manager to monitor and maintain the organization, cleanliness and efficiency of production areas as well as to maintain quality control measures. Job Description:
- Establish a preventive and predictive maintenance plan for a comprehensive array of critical assets and equipment. Implement and manage a preventative maintenance computer software platform. Develop policies, procedures, and SOPs related to the maintenance program at the facility and for corporate use.
- Self-perform preventative and on-going maintenance on other non-equipment assets, including but not limited to plumbing systems, electrical systems, HVAC systems, flooring systems, ceiling and wall systems, doors & windows, exterior systems, cultivation & processing systems, etc.
- Self-perform building maintenance repairs and ensure the facilities are in good working order. These repairs include, but are not limited to: cosmetic repairs, commercial door adjustments, changing of light bulbs and filters, basic roof and building envelop repairs.
- Create and manage a dynamic maintenance inventory system for all facility assets and related maintenance parts and consumables. Automate the re-ordering, receiving, warehousing and audits of equipment,
- Create maintenance Inspection Log for all assets / equipment. Recommend repair and/or replacement based on evaluation of records and inspections. Routinely review operating reports and inspection records to identify faulty equipment.
- Self-perform and/or manage the installation of new and replacement equipment, including required supporting infrastructure.
- Maintain blueprints, service manuals, work orders, and records for all assets and parts.
- Prepare and maintain the maintenance budget, track all costs, and estimate time and material costs of repair or modification work. Prepare and manage capital equipment installation projects.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent. Associates degree, or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience managing maintenance programs and self-performing general maintenance on mid-sized facilities.
- In-depth knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and software systems.
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining food production and packaging lines (preferred)
- General knowledge and hands-on experience working on a variety of HVAC systems, including packaged roof top units and large split systems, knowledge of building automation control systems
- Must possess leadership qualities, organizational abilities, and strong management skills.

Essential Functions:
- Perform all tasks in adherence to current guidelines (SOP/GMP/GLP)

- Immediately report and document all planned and unplanned SOP deviations
- Collect and prepare samples at all production points (cultivation/manufacturing/packaging)

- Establish a preventive and predictive maintenance plan for a comprehensive array of critical assets and equipment. Implement and manage a preventative maintenance computer software platform. - Self-perform preventative and on-going maintenance on other non-equipment assets, including but not limited to plumbing systems, electrical systems, HVAC systems, flooring systems, ceiling and wall systems, doors & windows, exterior systems, cultivation & processing systems, etc.
- Self-perform building maintenance repairs and ensure the facilities are in good working order. These repairs include, but are not limited to: cosmetic repairs, commercial door adjustments, changing of light bulbs and filters, basic roof and building envelop repairs.
- Create and manage a dynamic maintenance inventory system for all facility assets and related maintenance parts and consumables. Automate the re-ordering, receiving, warehousing and audits of equipment,
- Create maintenance Inspection Log for all assets / equipment. Recommend repair and/or replacement based on evaluation of records and inspections. Routinely review operating reports and inspection records to identify faulty equipment.
- Self-perform and/or manage the installation of new and replacement equipment, including required supporting infrastructure.
- Maintain blueprints, service manuals, work orders, and records for all assets and parts.
- Prepare and maintain the maintenance budget, track all costs, and estimate time and material costs of repair or modification work. Prepare and manage capital equipment installation projects.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent. Associates degree, or bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience managing maintenance programs and self-performing general maintenance on mid-sized facilities.
- In-depth knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and software systems.
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining food production and packaging lines (preferred)

The Manager Integrated Pest Management (IPM) provides support to the cultivation team. Primary duties include developing and implementing an approved pest management program, pest and disease identification, supervising preparation and application of pest control products, leading the IPM team, and ensuring all Revolution approved workflows are followed, and maintaining regulatory and compliance records.

- Develop, implement, and keep current an approved Integrated Pest Management plan.

- Ensure plant health is optimized in a way that allows every plant to achieve its maximum genetic potential.

- Develop, maintain, and report results from a scouting system in which problems are discovered and diagnosed early enough to implement effective control to keep pest pressure below an acceptable threshold.
- Ensure that all applications are completed in accordance with the label/ directions.
- Demonstrate the ability to maintain a positive and cooperative attitude with all fellow employees and across all departments.
- Develop and maintain a catalog reference guide/history of accurately diagnosed crop problems with pictures that are easily accessible.
- Collaborate with Manager, QA/PI to design IPM related experiments following sound scientific methods. Compile, analyze, summarize, and present data and recommendations.
- Adjust work schedule as needed to meet deadlines and accomplish all objectives.
- Work closely with QA/PI Manager in the development of all applicable Revolution IPM workflows. Ensure that all processes and procedures are accurate, up to date, and that they meet and or exceed all safety and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the IPM Team to effectively monitor and diagnose pest and disease populations and other threats to crops at each stage of the growth cycle. Respond in compliance with Revolution IPM best practices.
- Manage all personnel, processes and programs associated with Scouting, Spraying and Fumigation. Work closely with Cultivation Leadership Team to ensure those processes are effectively communicated. Report problems or challenges without delay.
- Ensure that chemical inventory is accurate, and materials are stored and maintained in accordance with all regulatory requirements.
- Maintain all necessary documentation to meet or exceed all inventory/compliance requirements.
- Ensure IPM equipment is maintained/calibrated in a manner that supports safe, efficient, and effective applications.
- Ensure that all personnel have the appropriate training, PPE, and certifications for their roles.
- Collaborate with QA/PI Manager to conduct any/all R&D trials to improve on current practices.
- Continuously research new IPM products and processes to identify opportunities to improve the IPM program efficacy.
- Ensure the implementation and adherence to a facility-wide Biosecurity program.

Job Description
The Dispensary Inventory Manager is responsible for managing policy and procedure, compliance, inventory, receiving orders, and all other operational objectives of PharmaCann store operations. This position is responsible for ensuring all employees of the dispensary are accountable to these same responsibilities. This position manages the inventory team to improve accuracy, training, and execution of operational initiatives.
The Dispensary Inventory Manager is an expert in their field of inventory receiving, FIFO compliance, and order fulfillment.
Duties and responsibilities or (Essential Functions)
- Oversee and execute all inventory specific initiatives as outlined on the master calendar.
- Deliver results and strategic direction by ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly through the store team.
- Work with cross-divisional teams to build consensus on strategic objectives, goals, and operational plans.
- Ensure the store is audit compliant and achieves acceptable scores.
- Establish and implement operational policies, standards, and procedures for retail staff.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and security policies and procedures within the retail store.
- Communicate, work closely, and successfully collaborate with other Managers to achieve the organization’s goals.
- Partner with the PharmaCann Human Resources team in the following HR functions:
- Interview, recruit, and hire to fill gaps in open positions in a timely manner based on store performance and volume.
- Train managers and employees in expected operational standards using appropriate tools such as SOP’s, compliance audits, company and state policy, and procedures.
- Develop and maintain a training calendar and ensure associate onboarding and new hire training is complete.
- Ensure continuous training and development with team members through training curriculums that result in consistency across all stores.
- Write and deliver team members’ performance reviews in partnership with GM to determine succession plans, build on member’s strengths and develop areas of improvement.
- Manage the performance, coach, and discipline team members on performance and violation of company and compliance policies in partnership with GM and HR.
- Maintain a highly organized and professional documentation of employee issues.
- Provide leadership, training, guidance, and support to team members that foster continuous learning and improvement in the performance of the store.
- This role may be required to assist with other duties as assigned as well as in other functions of the operation including but not limited to: call center, sales consulting, outreach, security, delivery, and visual merchandising

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations and management of the retail location. The GM creates and implements SOPs, trains and educates staff, serves as administrator for POS system and serves as a liaison between the retail environment and our corporate stakeholders.
Essential Functions:
- Participates in developing and implementing operational rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Manage, supervises and directs the activities of the dispensary team.
- Enforces dispensary policies and ensures that staff follows best practices.
- Oversees and manages quality product inventory and financial records.
- Ensures the dispensary remains compliant with security, inventory and local and state regulations.
- Manages financial records and cash handling procedures.
- Manages and inspires internal staff to deliver the highest level of customer experience.
- Ensures the safety and satisfaction of both the patients and employees.
- Provides education for staff about medical cannabis strains, edibles, concentrates and consumption mechanisms.
- Works with VP of Retail Operations to create budgets and forecast sales.
- Promotes sales, service, and profit goals and leads staff to exceed them.
- Facilitates business relationships with wholesalers and other vendors to negotiate and procure an adequate supply of quality products.
- Oversees employee scheduling.
- Serves as a liaison to the local community.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of products and strains in the store, as well as industry-wide product knowledge.
- Reviews performance of other dispensary employees on a regular basis.
- Oversees all hiring, discipline, termination or advancement of employees.
- Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor s degree or 3-4 years of relevant management experience.
- Experience in the cannabis industry is a must.

The Field Sampling Technician will be responsible for all steps involved in off-site batch sampling for state mandated compliance tests of cannabis products.

- Assists in modifying and maintaining appropriate SOPs relating to sample testing.

- Maintains a safe, clean, well organized, and efficient work environment.

- Work on projects assigned by lab management and work in collaboration with other technicians.
Required Skills & Experience

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage kitchen agents with daily production of edibles, chocolates, and confections using commercial machinery.
- Understand and execute batch calculations per Revolution Edibles manufacturing formulas.
- Maintain production logs, lab test results and retain samples.
- Vendor Coordination / Ordering.
- Organize and inventory ingredients and other kitchen production supplies at the facility.

- State-required sanitation licenses must be up to date.
- Provide a detailed explanation of our process during tours
- Be willing to travel to different events to talk about our edible lines and processes.
- Work well with other department leads to coordinate special orders and inventory needs
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- Experience in a field and/or operation that adheres to strict health and safety policies and procedures, preferably a regulated field producing products for human consumption.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of recipes, food production and kitchen sanitation.
- Strong and effective task-management skills and ability to multi-task.
- Attention to detail ability to monitor basic kitchen production in processes, organize and maintain production logs and ingredient lot numbers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment.
- Experience in a production-heavy kitchen, kitchen management and chocolate/confection work a plus.
- Ability to stand for at least 6 hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds to torso level is necessary.
