Job Summary
The Assistant Cultivation Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the cultivation facility in accordance with standards set by the state and Infinity Wellness The Assistant Cultivation Manager provides support for all cultivation agents, including schedules, training, policy and procedure updates, Responsible for the documentation, ordering, and receiving of all inventory and products through METRC, arranging deliveries, maintaining facility compliance, and cleanliness in accordance with state regulations and standards set by Infinity Wellness . Sanitation is an integral part of cannabis cultivation, and sanitation protocols, implementation, and delegation falls under the supervision of the Assistant Cultivation Manager in regards to any grow zone.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists with managing cultivation staff, schedules, cultivation processes, inventory, and vendor relations.
- Serves as a role model and resource for cultivation staff concerning products and services, policies and procedures, industry news, and changes in regulations.
- Provides mentorship to all cultivators regarding horticulture science, crop production, semi-annual reviews, discipline, and internal promotions.
- Assists Training cultivation staff on all cultivation processes and standard operating procedures, proper pesticide application and safety, and proper fertigation and safety.

The role of a Production Lead is to manage the 3rd shift production team while being a contributing team member themself. - Accurately records processing and weights data on to appropriate spreadsheets and or enters into a track and trace program to ensure authentic information is readily available for upper management, compliance, or any regulatory agency.
- Maintains and upkeeps of all equipment, tools, supplies throughout the work shift to make certain departments clean when customers, management, or regulatory agencies walk the property.

- A constant presence on the production floor, supervision of active production, and the coordination of various production departments - cooking - processing - packaging.
- Monitoring of ERP and METRC to ensure accuracy with regard to Work in Progress batches and high-value cannabis inputs like terpenes, and cannabis oil.
- Ensure daily counts of Work in Progress batches, terpenes, and cannabis oil to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Ensure excellent QA/QC of products during each stage of the production process.
- Work with the Purchasing and Systems department to ensure sufficient raw material and packaging inventory - assist with raw material forecasting/material resource planning.
- Create and improve the current process and SOPs
- Work with the HR department to identify and ensure all hiring needs are met. Create and update job descriptions for all positions
- Set team up for success, constantly survey team regarding equipment or supplies-related needs; make purchase requests through purchase request systems.
Required Skills/Abilities

- 3+ years experience managing a CPG manufacturing facility, preferably in food manufacturing or equivalent experience

Role Overview

Responsibilities
- Oversee productivity for each of our departments, including but not limited to pre- packaged flower, pre-roll manufacturing, blunt manufacturing, and labeling/packaging
- Manage personnel through scheduling, training and providing necessary equipment and materials to fulfil production jobs
- Support new employee onboarding and training with our existing team of production supervisors (that will report to you)
- Manage and update supply inventory systems
- Measure and monitor productivity through reporting and frequent updates to the management team
- Coordinate with key stakeholders (sourcing, distribution, inventory, etc.) to ensure seamless production cycle
- Develop, update and implement SOPs and workflows
- Manage client and vendor communications
- Facilitate interdepartmental and wholesale transfers of product using both internal and external systems (i.e. METRC)

PRODUCTION MANAGER
The Production Manager will assist the Site Director with production and facility operations. The Manager will help oversee and manage personnel to perform all the tasks necessary to meet high operating standards.

Clean and maintain equipment and facility following current good manufacturing practices (cGMP), and standard operating procedures to comply with legal regulations.
Review inventory records of supplies, materials, and equipment and transportation manifests in METRC.

Maintain material safety data sheets for all department chemicals and products.
Compliance:
Ensure processing operation is fully compliant with state regulations and federal and state law.
Assure that operation adheres to all business and industry license requirements.
Maintain strict inventory records of all plant materials, chemicals and equipment used in the laboratory and documents production by completing forms, reports, logs and records.
Skills:
Able to process samples by collection, preparing for analysis, and quantifying results

The Lab Manager is responsible for organizing and overseeing day to day laboratory operations from a proactive perspective. This includes weekly planning and delegation of specific duties and protocols to maintain a steady and consistent workflow throughout the week. The Lab Manager and Lead Extractor will work in close contact to keep on schedule, and modify the schedule, as needed, to maintain a consistent output from day to day. - Manages production operations by implementing, adjusting, and enforcing program, operational and personnel policies and procedures
- Responsible for enforcing Operational Compliance in all aspects of purchasing, producing and packaging all products
- Manages all Lab, Processing and Harvest Department quality standards, employee relations and on-boarding; directs teams on executing day to day operations and facilitates production schedule planning

Proven knowledge and experience in IPM & ICM is highly critical.

In this role you will….
Oversee and optimize product harvest, curing and trimming process; direct department to ensure on-time production; manage and oversee scheduling of team to ensure appropriate and optimized staffing.
Responsible for the implementation, oversight and optimization of hand and machine trimming processes; train team on correct operation of equipment.

RISEN LABS PRODUCTION AND LOGISTICS MANAGER
SUMMARYResponsible for planning and executing the daily production and distribution of Risen Labs in Aptos. Coordinates inventory transfers between Cultivation, Production, Manufacturing, and Distribution.
DUTIES:Risen Labs Production
- Responsible for supervising the entire Production and Distribution staff.
- Fulfills orders from order intake and Metrc to accurate delivery.
- Monitors the quality, safety, quantity, cost, and efficiency of the movement of inventory.
- Coordinating and controlling the order cycle and associated IT systems.
- Serves as liaison with customers and suppliers.
- Analyzes logistical problems and provides and/or recommends solutions.
- Responsible for managing the expenditures and recommending proposed savings.
- Responsible to manage appropriate levels of inventory, backorders, and returns.
- Implements safety and security procedures.
- Plans and schedules the logistics of deliveries.

Position Summary:
Reporting to the General Manager and coordinating with the VP of R&D and Quality Control, the Edibles Production Manager is responsible for managing the production of cannabis-infused edible and topical products at our Adrian, MI cultivation and processing facility. The Manager is accountable for consistent implementation of approved Standard Operating Procedures, while seeking out opportunities for improvement in compliance standards and overall efficiencies in the kitchen. Primary responsibilities include ensuring that the production is on schedule, products consistently meet state and internal quality requirements, and that target inventory levels are maintained at all times. The Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing the kitchen support staff and ensuring the quality of their work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe, accurate, and appropriate manufacturing, processing, packaging, and storage of edible and topical products using GMP principles
- Ensure compliance with SOPs and quality standards developed by the VP of R&D and Quality Control
- Ensure compliance at all times and record all relevant information accurately in the company’s METRC system
- Oversee kitchen production supplies and inventory, keeping inventory shrinkage to zero
- Maintain production logs, lab test results, and QC retain samples
- Implement proper procedures to maintain kitchen equipment operation and sanitation
- Prepare product samples as needed for third party lab testing in strict accordance with state testing protocols
- Train, oversee, and maximize productivity of all kitchen staff
- Direct day to day management of production area and team including production scheduling, execution, staffing, and capacity planning
- Create an atmosphere of teamwork; ensure appropriate expertise and resources are in place to meet requirements and address employee issues in an effective manner.
Required and Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 5+ years experience in industrial food production (not restaurant) required
- 3+ years management experience within an industrial food production environment or commercial kitchen (not restaurant) required
- Experience infusing foods and other products, working with cannabis oil infusion strongly preferred
- Familiarity with METRC or other cannabis compliance system preferred
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field preferred
- ServSafe Certification and familiarity with GMP and HACCP
Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
- Extensive walking, squatting, reaching, twisting, bending, standing
- Carrying up to 75 pounds
- Working on wet and/or slippery surfaces
