The Assistant Retail Manager supports the daily operations of the store. Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
This is an industry field engagement position based on full sales activities and product responsibility for Dalwhinnie operations. The Assistant Retail Manager handles routine, detailed concepts and problems, balances multiple tasks simultaneously, and is a dependable member of the team regarding punctuality and performance. The Assistant Retail Manager will be tasked with manual labor activities requiring the full range of body mobility to include standing most of the work day. They will need to demonstrate proper ergonomic form and posture, follow all OSHA guidelines and requirements while on site to ensure a safe workplace, and overall be a durable employee with respect to the physical requirements of assigned tasks. This position is expected to be medium to high stress, holding the majority of the responsibility for the success and outcomes for the stakeholders of the business and brand.

Major Areas of Responsibility include:
- The Supervisor, Retail Operations ensures compliance with all Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Pilot Program rules and regulations governing the Act, and directly supervises the activity within the dispensary to include dispensary staff training and education in the absence of the Manager and as directed.
- The Supervisor, Retail Operations provides management and leadership in the Dispensing Facility to include monitoring all point of sale transactions.
- The Supervisor, Retail Operations manages patient specific logs as required, the receipt, storage and auditing of all inventory, and is responsible for ordering new inventory and supplies, maintaining accurate records using BioTrackTHC, the Dispensing Facility’s inventory tracking software program.
- As the responsible party at the Dispensing Facility, this position resolves all inventory discrepancies and patient-staff conflicts.
- The Supervisor, Retail Operations is responsible for the development of the Dispensing Facility’s privacy policies and procedures, the security and confidentiality of all patient information, as well as overall compliance with HIPAA.
- This position acts as a liaison internally between all staff, dispensary management team and the Manager, and externally between the Dispensing Facility and law enforcement, Commissioner of Health, and the local community.
- Directs and monitors department managers to accomplish goals of the plan, consistent with established and safety procedures.
- Establishes methods to follows the operating plan in compliance with the Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Pilot Program, maintaining records required by public health law and ensures quality assurance plans, including but limited to plans to detect, identify and prevent dispensing errors related to product packaging and labeling.
- Manages and implements policies and procedures for any retesting of returned approved medical marijuana products, storage and disposal and meeting reporting requirements for adverse events and product recall.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Opportunity
Our Aspen location is looking for a motivated and sales driven Assistant Store Manager to join the team! Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Provide notary services for patients and ensure team members have notary credentials.
- Be responsible for facility maintenance and troubleshooting as necessary including proper up-keep of phone, utilities, technology, maintenance, repairs, stock, and supplies.
- Attendance of posted, scheduled hours is required at the store locations; however, additional availability outside of that schedule is also required (e.g. meetings, deliveries).

- Acts as a representative of retail staff and guests to Corporate office and upper Management, communicating information as needed; Acts as an information filter, directing communications and ensuring appropriate use of the Chain of Command;

Qualifications Education

- Ensure consistency of forecast of forecast assumptions across the region, including base business trends, promotional plans, new launch volumes, product changes and seasonal volumes
- Responsible for understanding and reinforcing manufacturing, marketing and financial processes to link and align with forecasting processes
- Provide guidance and oversight of SKU level forecasts to ensure alignment with business direction and consistency with market trends

- Develop solutions to complex technical problems where few precedents exist
- Participate in scientific meetings both internal and external to maintain and expand scientific expertise
- Participate on multi-functional teams representing Analytical Sciences
We want you to have:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, Analytical Chemistry, or closely related field
- Familiarity with analytical chemistry techniques and analysis such as; Vibrational Spectroscopy (FTIR, NIR, Raman etc.), Mass Spectrometry, X-Ray fluoresence, chemometrics, microscopy, and chromatography
- 1+ year of experience working in an analytical chemistry laboratory
- Experience working with tobacco and tobacco products preferred
- Experience working in a regulated industry and familiarity with Quality Systems such as ISO 17025, or ISO 9001 desired
- Excellent attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills
