The Packing Supervisor is responsible for managing the packing department operations and teammates. This position is to exceed customer expectations through premium product quality and on-time delivery. Purpose

- Continuously develops, oversees and implements improvements to departments processes and procedures to meet organizational needs, increase efficiencies and drive down costs.
- Ability to research, evaluate and adapt to new methods, compliance updates, and techniques for operational improvement.
- Create and manage detailed reporting, comprehensive tracking and analysis of all packaged products; reporting daily, weekly and monthly as required.

- Enforce and follow through on all quality assurance initiative
- Report to upper management, Production Packaging Manager
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Required Experience, Education and Skills
- Proven experience as production packaging supervisor, or as a lead with at least 3 years’ experience
- Deep knowledge of production packaging management
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations, cGMP and Good Documentation Processes
- Knowledge of probationary and annual performance assessment concepts
- Experience in reporting on key production metrics
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP software (Adilas a plus)

- Facilitating the work of the Packaging department employees, by providing answers to questions, as well as providing them with the tools and resources they need to perform their tasks.

Workspace and Material Maintenance
- Supporting the Manager of Packaging to guide and train Packaging department members to maintain proper organization of the Packaging and Distribution rooms. Contribute to instructed cleaning, sanitizing, and organization in the Packaging and Distribution rooms.
- Monitor and report any noticeable unsatisfactory cannabis product to the Manager of Packaging and/or Senior Manager of Processing.
- Ensure organization and cleanliness of the immediate work area. Ensure proper maintenance of Packaging Machine Line and equipment in the department.
- After use of equipment or supply, follow through with cleaning and organizing SOPs.
Compliance and Reporting
- Follow all instructed state and federal compliance regulations.
- Update and track all required information in the Packaging logs, METRC, CounterPoint, and spreadsheets daily. Responsible for proper training of Data Technicians and employees packaging to understand how to perform roles compliantly.
- Supporting the organizing and securing of all packaging tags and labels.
- Report any improper action of compliance regulations.
- Following instructed procedures will maintain compliance and safety. Any compliance or safety mistake or error created must be reported to the leadership of the department.
Supervision & Job Requirements
- Works under the direct supervision of the Manager of Packaging.
- This person will be asked to direct, guide, train, supervise and discipline members of the Packaging department.
- This position is expected to follow and obey the company policies
Working Conditions
- Able to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
- Able to move about a typical office, manufacturing and warehouse environment.
- Working in proper PPE at all times of scheduled shift to sustain GMP model certification.

About the Job:
The Laboratory Packaging Supervisor oversees the packaging of products and is responsible for compliance and consistency as well as managing the Lab Packaging Associate(s).
- Responsible for day to day operations and performance of the packaging function
- Maintains inventory levels and production standards
- Collaborates with sales department to ensure orders are properly fulfilled
- Oversees inventory, updates inventory levels as needed to reflect sales
- Recognizes areas of opportunity that improve Safety, Product Quality, Food Safety, Cost, Productivity, and Employee Morale
- Works with leadership team to ensure all KPIs are being met or exceeded
- Coach the production team to establish performance measures to achieve designated objectives and deliver business results

About the Job:
The Packaging Supervisor oversees the packaging of processed products in the lab and kitchen and is responsible for compliance and consistency as well as managing the Packaging Associates.
- Responsible for day to day operations and performance of the packaging function
- Maintains inventory levels and production standards
- Collaborates with sales department to ensure orders are properly fulfilled
- Oversees inventory, updates inventory levels as needed to reflect sales
- Recognizes areas of opportunity that improve Safety, Product Quality, Food Safety, Cost, Productivity, and Employee Morale
- Works with leadership team to ensure all KPIs are being met or exceeded
- Coach the production team to establish performance measures to achieve designated objectives and deliver business results

Cresco Labs is seeking a full time Packaging Supervisor to join our growing Fall River facility. This individual will oversee all day-to-day duties on the 1st Shift within our Packaging department and will report directly into our Packaging Manager.
CORE JOB DUTIES
- Provides overall daily supervision, answers questions, and provides realtime feedback on performance to Agents
- Assigns daily tasks to agents on white-board
- Re-trains as necessary + assists Leads while they train new hires
- Keeps team on track with time expectations
- Ensures the expected quality level is met
- Responsible for keeping all packaging areas clean
- Creates electronic PWOs
- Fills in all lot numbers based on lot age, passing test results, and sales' requests (all questionable lot numbers will be filled in by Personnel and Productivity role)
- Uses company's Regulatory Seed-to-Sale System and makes conversions as needed
- Prints reports and disperses to proper team
- Assists Material Handling Team with lot pulling based off PWO
- Assists with creation of compliant labeling
- Handles all PO updates
- Prints and gives to Order fulfillment
- Updates PWO if need be
- Notifies handler and other supervisors of material change
- Communicates shortages to Packaging Manger and Sales Team
- Fills in any questionable lot numbers
- Troubleshoots any staging issues
- Assists with Order Fulfillment when necessary
- Checks final manifests before emailing Sales (date, location, drivers, times, products)
- Provides assistance with internal filling equipment
- Sets recipes
- Confirms log is filled out properly
- Conducts annual performance reviews
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict policies and procedure
- Ability to measure, package and label in a precise manner
- Prior experience mentoring/coaching team members
- Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate the Packaging Manager’s plans for packaging, organizing, and labeling products for distribution.
- Ensure quality in every aspect of products, while keeping department clean, inventory organized and records up to date
- Maintain team accountability and act as point person for questions and morale boost
- Maintain preventative maintenance program
- Proficient understanding of all automated packaging machines
- Ensure finalized product is accurately relocated to correct destination.
- Follow all open/close procedures to company and CCC standard, including communicating exit time to appropriate persons at the end of each shift and activating alarm system.

WORKING CONDITIONS

- Plant pollen is present on surfaces and in the air, extraction fumes may also be present.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Follow Parallel Policies & Procedures for the daily operations and fully comply with state medical marijuana regulations
- Work with both manual, semi-automatic, and fully automatic assembly & packaging equipment

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Follow Parallel Policies & Procedures for the daily operations and fully comply with state medical marijuana regulations
- Work with both manual, semi-automatic, and fully automatic assembly & packaging equipment
- Responsible for specific deliverables including production and quality targets
- Responsible for daily duties related to the assembly and packaging processes of cannabis products
- Enforces and complies with safety procedures and consults with department management about safety issues that may arise
- Daily inventory management of cannabis and non-cannabis materials
- Cleaning production equipment and production work areas
- Troubleshooting of machines and processes; reporting to facilities and management of machine issues
- Plan workload distribution and assists in inventory management/ordering
- Evaluate laboratory documentation, quality control and quality assurance statistics and modifies SOPs, as needed
- Evaluate proposed changes in raw materials, processing equipment, and manufacturing/assembly & packaging methods with guidance from senior leadership
- Responsible for auditing laboratory procedures, writing, maintaining, and training the quality control technicians in procedures per Standard Operating Procedures guidelines
- Reviews all daily laboratory paperwork and corrects errors found in a timely manner
- Disposal of cannabis waste and raw materials in accordance with legal regulations
- Keeping open and fluid communication with the management and maintenance teams when there are machine issues
- Assist in recommendations for scalable procedures as company grows
- Participate in the recruitment process for other team prospective team members
- Train and monitor new and current lab staff as needed for cross training
- Work assisting the pre-rolls teams / packaging teams / extraction & distillations teams / refinement / etc. when you have down time
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU'LL BRING
Required

Role & Responsibilities:
- The Packaging Supervisor is responsible for coordinating with the Packaging Manager, the VP of Operations, assigned Project Managers, and all Packaging Technicians to facilitate and oversee the completion of all tasks needed for the Packaging Department to meet sales targets. In addition to their primary responsibilities, the Packaging Supervisor is expected to ensure that GMP and all regulatory requirements are followed within the packaging production areas.
Primary Duties (including, but not limited to):
- Coordinating with the Packaging Manager and all Packaging technicians to schedule daily labor by process to meet sales targets for packaging vape cartridges, concentrates, edibles, etc.
- Monitoring, maintaining, and reporting all process data generated within the Packaging department during the course of daily production. Working with the Packaging Manager on any observed data errors, outliers, or shifts in trends to stay ahead of potential issues for production.
- Monitoring, maintaining, and reporting the inventory levels of all critical supplies needed to maintain continuous production within the packaging production areas. Placing supply requests as needed to maintain established par levels.
- Monitoring, documenting, and reporting any observed issues within the packaging production areas related to safety, equipment, interpersonal, product quality, etc.
- Auditing, inspecting, and verifying the quality of work completed within the packaging production areas.
- Gathering data needed to monitor safety, quality, delivery, and cost within the packaging production areas.
- Facilitation of RCA/CAPA exercises as needed to remedy issues that occur within the packaging production areas.
- Working with the Packaging Manager to manage and complete time cards for all Packaging
Technicians.
- Data analysis associated with batch processing, cleaning, maintenance, etc.
- Inspection of cleaning tasks completed by technicians.
- Work well and effectively with fellow co-workers.

Job Description
Reporting to the Packaging Manager, the Packaging Supervisor will assist with multiple processes within the Trim and Pack department. Under the direction of the manager and/or assistant manager, the supervisor will have 6 to 7 Direct Reports and will ensure that Packaging Associates are performing their duties related to trim and pack.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Competent in all trim and pack tasks and works hands-on in the department daily
- Works with the Processing Supervisor on daily tasks in the department
- Supervises staff/department to ensure responsibilities are being met and work is being completed timely
- Understands, compiles, completes and maintains reports needed for management review to include recordkeeping
- Ability to coach staff, address issues and offer constructive feedback when required

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate the Packaging Manager’s plans for packaging, organizing, and labeling products for distribution.
- Ensure quality in every aspect of products, while keeping department clean, inventory organized and records up to date
- Maintain team accountability and act as point person for questions and morale boost
- Maintain preventative maintenance program
- Proficient understanding of all automated packaging machines
- Ensure finalized product is accurately relocated to correct destination.
- Follow all open/close procedures to company and CCC standard, including communicating exit time to appropriate persons at the end of each shift and activating alarm system.

WORKING CONDITIONS
- This is a hands-on, cannabis production position. You will be working in an indoor production, warehouse-like environment.
- Rooms are industrially lit and feature heavy machinery sounds at times.
- Kneeling, squatting, lifting, bending, walking, pivoting, standing all expected activities.
- Plant pollen is present on surfaces and in the air, extraction fumes may also be present.
- Timekeeping (clock-in/out) utilizes biometric screening (facial and/or fingerprint scan). Employees have option to opt out and utilize other clock-in/out procedures.

Facilitate the packaging of manicured cannabis by overseeing all packaging procedures and protocol

Responsible for the accurate documentation of Packaging Sessions in TrackVia
Scheduling and execution of annual certification of all scales and measurement tools used in the weighing of manicured cannabis.
Packaging Agent staffing & training
Prioritization, scheduling, monitoring, and tracking of lot-specific packaging sessions to be completed by subordinate staff
Compliant label creation, production, application, and retention for all department manufactured products
Ensure that all packaging staff comprehend and adhere to all quality control processes and procedures in relation to finished product packaging
Packaging input supply ordering, organization, and management
Assist in the design, development, and acquisition of cannabis packaging materials
Support inventory tracking compliance both internally, and within the state Inventory Control software.
Utilize industry experience to ascertain all necessary equipment required for the safe and efficient packaging of manicured flower and pre-rolls
Monitor and maintain all packaging specific equipment as required by protocols and manufacturer specifications
Communicate all production related questions, concerns, or issues to direct supervisor
Provide any necessary support to management team to ensure the success of departmental operations, as assigned, trained, and/or requested.
Utilize all Company resources to complete all assigned tasks

About the Job:
The Packaging Supervisor oversees the packaging of processed products in the lab and kitchen and is responsible for compliance and consistency as well as managing the Packaging Associates.

SUMMARY
The Packaging Supervisor is responsible for supervising all packaging department activities daily. This position supervises the production and quality of packaged items and re-pack in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives. Supervision of the daily operations of the packaging team is given, to achieve team and company objectives. - Function as a backup to Production Manager in its absence.

Processing Supervisor
Delta Medical Cannabis Company (DMCC) provides a wide range of high-quality Medical Cannabis products to patients throughout Arkansas. DMCC operates a licensed cultivation facility in Newport, Arkansas.
The Processing Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of processing at the Newport facility, including strategically managing the scheduling, and planning of the production schedule and personnel. Management of raw materials and packaging supplies, and delivery processes to support the organizational goals and culture, while remaining compliant with state/federal, and other regulatory authorities and organizations.

- Cannabis Quality (post-harvest)
- Processing and Packaging
- Curing Cannabis
Essential Functions:
- Ensure adherence to all SOP’s on processing and packaging or changes to existing SOP’s
- Vast Knowledge of Cannabis products.
- Responsible for managing the packaging/processing team. Supervising the processing team to ensure the quality of the final product.
- Quality control of Cannabis Products and packaging of final products.
- Tracking and conversion software.
- Cure room management and curing cannabis production.
- Process and convert lots for lab production to transfer when they are ready to run (milled flower for RSO, and distillate production).
- Converting product for testing and working with the lab team on the schedule.
- Communicate harvest pipeline to sales team.
- Inventory harvesting and trim supplies tracking in software.
- Request to order materials needed for harvesting and trim production
- Tracking trim and flower weighing production, creating productivity and efficiency reports in Cannabis 365.
- Reporting output on a monthly basis.
- Other duties may be determined or assigned by the General Manager.
Qualifications:
- Five to ten years Production processing experience. Minimum of HS Diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels within the organization.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule based upon the demands of the business.
- Must pass internal and external background checks, including criminal history check by the Arkansas State Police and FBI.
- Must obtain a Registry Identification Card from the Department of Finance and Administration, Alcohol Beverage Control Division.

CORE JOB DUTIES
Assigns daily tasks to agents on white-board
Checks in with agents
Re-trains as necessary + assists Leads while they train new hires

Responsible for keeping all packaging areas clean
Creates electronic PWOs
Fills in all lot numbers based on lot age, passing test results, and sales' requests (all questionable lot numbers will be filled in by Personnel and Productivity role)
Uses company's Regulatory Seed-to-Sale System and makes conversions as needed
Prints reports and disperses to proper team
Assists Material Handling Team with lot pulling based off PWO
Assists with creation of compliant labeling
Handles all PO updates
Prints and gives to Order fulfillment
Updates PWO if need be
Notifies handler and other supervisors of material change
Communicates shortages to Packaging Manger and Sales Team
Fills in any questionable lot numbers
Troubleshoots any staging issues
Assists with Order Fulfillment when necessary
Checks final manifests before emailing Sales (date, location, drivers, times, products)
Provides assistance with internal filling equipment
Sets recipes
Confirms log is filled out properly
Provides overall supervision
Approves ADP time cards, PTO, sick days, and pay-approval for direct reports
Leads 1:1 scheduled monthly meetings with direct reports
Conducts annual performance reviews

POSITION DESCRIPTION
This Packaging Supervisor oversees the entire helps ensure that manufactured items are ready for shipment by placing them into containers, sealing and labeling the items, and preparing the item for transport.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to adequately perform each essential function.
- Work in cleanroom and maintain integrity and housekeeping of cleanroom
- Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in packaging products and materials for storage or shipment:
- Studies production order to ascertain type and quantity of product, containers to be used, and other packaging requirements.
- Inspects products prior to packaging and returns rejected products to production departments.
- Observes packaging operations and inspects containers to verify conformance to specifications.
- Package Cannabis products into appropriate containers
- Complete proper documentation required for each stage of packaging
- Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot the packaging processes as needed
- The ability to follow all quality and safety protocols
- Train other technicians as necessary on duties associated with chemical packaging processes
- General housekeeping duties
- Participate in the process for entering, collecting and review safety and quality data
- Follow all safety rules, which requires wearing of personal protective equipment when packaging

Overview:
Following policies set forth by the Company, support the overall operation of the Production Packaging department through the prioritization and supervision of compliant packaging, tracking, and inventory control of all finished products manufactured by both the Kitchen and Extraction divisions.
Essential Functions:
Accountable for ensuring the Production Packaging Department meet the demand, quantity, and quality of output in-line with Company objectives
Responsible for the supervision, and delegation of daily objectives for all department product packagers. Daily directives include, but are not limited to:
Prioritization, scheduling, monitoring, and tracking of product-specific packaging sessions to be completed by staff
Compliant label creation, production, application, and retention for all department manufactured products
Ensure that all packaging staff comprehend and adhere to all quality control processes and procedures in relation to finished product packaging
Accountable for completion of all work assigned to them during their scheduled shifts, including but not limited to:
Work in concert with the Extraction and Kitchen departments to ensure the efficient, compliant, sanitary, and uniform packaging of all finished products created within the Production Department
Assist in the Metrc inventory tracking of all finished products packaged by department
Monitor and maintain all packaging specific equipment as required by protocols and manufacturer specifications
Foster a culture of open dialogue with the management team and other co-workers
Communicate all production related questions, concerns, or issues
Facilitate the packaging of manicured cannabis by overseeing all packaging procedures and protocol which include but are not limited to:
Documentation of Packaging Sessions
Annual Certification of all scales and measurement tools used in the weighing of manicured cannabis.
Packaging Label Creation and Compliance
Provide any necessary support to management team to ensure the success of all production operations, as assigned, trained, and/or requested
Accountable for following all operational guidelines, verbal directives, training information and policies set forth by the Company when performing duties
Utilize all Company resources to complete all assigned tasks
Continue the ongoing development of department protocol, procedures, and methodology

Summary: Responsible for safe and effective packaging and labeling of medical cannabis for ingestion/ inhalation. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Packaging/Production leads and technician staff. - Manage timekeeping, review technicians' hours daily to ensure no missed punches and time off is approved, entered in system, and tracked
