Clean windows and screens for homes and businesses in Mesquite, NV and surrounding areas.
Pay starts at $13/hour for part time and $15/hour for full time and increases $1/hour regularly (with good performance) up to $21/hour after one year. Tips are common and split among the crew. Part time and full time positions are available, anywhere from 2 days up to 6 days a week.
There will be opportunity for a crew leader(s) in the future.
Work is done as a two or three person team. All the work must be completed with a high level of detail and consistency - no streaks or drips can remain on the glass, tracks and frames must be dirt free, screens must be fully wiped, and no drips or dirt left inside homes. This standard must be met every day, every home, every time.
Employees will receive on the job training.
The job requires walking up and down step ladders, kneeling onto your knees, and stretching up to use the squeegee/mop overhead all day. Moderately heavy lifting of buckets, ladders, and equipment required. Large screens are heavy to move through the screen cleaner and require strong shoulders.
Working conditions are cold in the winter and hot in the summer and pleasant during the rest of the year. There is a little less work in the summer and winter months, so hours are a little shorter during these times. Work is occasionally cancelled due to rain or high winds.
Good customers service and a friendly attitude are needed when inside homes and businesses. Since employees are inside the homes of many elderly customers, a full COVID-19 vaccine is highly preferred.
Employees can listen to music using a mobile headphone in one ear, when washing windows outside only, as long as it does not interferer with communication or work.
