The machine operator is responsible for running and overseeing the daily functions of the pre-roll machine. The duties include running tests before the start of operations, programming and monitoring the machine when assembling products, and cleaning and breaking down the machine during and after every shift. Other tasks include performing preventative maintenance according to the manufacturer's recommended schedule and inspecting the machine for potential repairs while working with the manufacturer to perform minor repairs as needed. Safety, cleanliness, and compliance are of the utmost importance of this position.
We are looking for candidates that have completed high school or are GED graduates. Ideal candidates have one-year related experience as a machine operator and have a strong desire to work efficiently in a team environment. Candidates must be reliable and dependable with a good work ethic. While cannabis product knowledge is preferred, a desire to learn is a must.
Due to cannabis industry regulations, all candidates must be at least 21 years old, receive CORI clearance, and must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Performs a variety of tasks associated with the production of high-quality cannabis edibles using semi-automated equipment. The Role

We are searching for a full-time PreRoll Technician to operate our automated pre-roll machine. You will be responsible for calibrating new pre-roll recipes, managing the production process and hitting production timelines to deliver superior product quality to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Set up the room for efficient operation of flower processing, machine operations, product inspection and packaging.
- Convert in METRC flower from cultivation and transfer batch records to trim, grind, finish product, and waste records.
- Collect hourly metrics from trim, preroll, packaging, and METRC labeling/QA
- Accurately maintain the DMR (daily manufacturing report) to ensure reconciliation of flower and accuracy and completeness of data
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed in collaboration with our automation provider.
- Help monitor and manage packaging equipment, supplies and inventory.
- Executing all filling and packaging procedures in an efficient manner in compliance with company's SOP's and all applicable manufacturing procedures.
- Conduct R&D on new product lines for clients
- Ensuring compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking, product security, and product movement procedures.
Requirements:
- Associated degree, High School Diploma or G.E.D minimum. 2+ years of applicable experience in using automation equipment for filling, manufacturing and packaging pharmaceutical, food or cannabis products.
- Prior experience operating automated pre-roll machines such as the PreRoll-er, Juanaroll, Hefestus

The Post Trim Technician will aid in facilitating a variety of different tasks that prepare the product for the next phase of processing. This position will be responsible for effectively communicating with the Post Trim Supervisors, and fellow team members to achieve a quality trim with machinery. Sorting and organizing the product accurately, and the maintenance of the machinery. This position ensures accurate documentation and recording of data while upholding company standards of quality, which requires a high attention to detail and must follow all state regulations and company standards. This position will report to the Manager of Trim, and Trim Supervisors.
Essential Duties
- Operating trim machines, and following all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Proper organization and physical labeling of trays and bins by batch to identify all product accurately and to ensure compliance with all state and company guidelines.
- Weigh and record bins and drums using electronic scales and ensure accurate data entry using computer spreadsheets, in a timely manner.
- Performing quality control on all product.
- Preparing and moving product from post trim dept. to proper curing area.
- Follow standard operating procedures to ensure all product meets the LivWell standards of quality.
- If quality and information does not match company standards, communicate with leadership to ensure all standards are met.
- Ensure that product is running through the machines and that quality control is being performed at all times.
- Communicate with different team members and leadership to ensure proper flow of information and production.

The machine operator is responsible for running and overseeing the daily functions of the pre-roll machine. The duties include running tests before the start of operations, programming and monitoring the machine when assembling products, and cleaning and breaking down the machine during and after every shift. Other tasks include performing preventative maintenance according to the manufacturer's recommended schedule and inspecting the machine for potential repairs while working with the manufacturer to perform minor repairs as needed. We are looking for candidates that have completed high school or are GED graduates. Ideal candidates have one-year related experience as a machine operator and have a strong desire to work efficiently in a team environment. Candidates must be reliable and dependable with a good work ethic. While cannabis product knowledge is preferred, a desire to learn is a must.
Due to cannabis industry regulations, all candidates must be at least 21 years old, receive CORI clearance, and must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Physical requirements include being able to lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds (125 pounds with assistance) as well as stand and walk to move material up to 25 pounds and safely move carts of material. Do you have what it takes?
We’re ideally looking for a teammate with at least three (3) years of relevant work experience in machine operation and/or manufacturing operations. It would be super if you had experience operating machines, particularly those designed for web handling (a thousand imaginary bonus points if it’s a laminator!). While it’s not required, we’d love it if you’ve had previous management or leadership positions. All this experience combined will help you to move quickly up the learning curve and keep the machine from becoming sentient and taking over the whole operation.
You don’t need a degree for this position, but we’d love someone who has their GSD (“get stuff done”) or has paid tuition to the school of hard knocks. It’s helpful, though, if you have had formal training in maintenance, engineering, or related fields. Your educational background should provide you the tools and ideas you need in order to know what makes an excellent operator, but if you don’t have the formal book learning, we still value the hard work, experience, curiosity, and best practices you can bring from other positions and workplaces.
We believe it was world-famous hip-hop artist Jay-Z that once said, “I got 99 problems, but a lack of skills ain’t one of them.” We’re not sure if Jay-Z was planning to apply for this role, but if he did, we’d want to see that his skills included at least:

Summary
The Machine Operator is responsible for overall safe operation of assigned automated machinery. This position is responsible for ensuring efficient line operation and is vital in achieving the goals and daily KPIs as set by the Company. The operator must achieve target machine efficiency standards, quality standards and waste goals. This position will also be required to learn new equipment and duties as assigned in their applicable department. This person must be flexible with work hours and have the ability to come in early, stay late, work long hours and potentially weekends in order to meet company production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of applicable machines
- All aspects of set up, operation, shutting down and cleaning of automated machines
- Retool machines as needed to meet production plans
- Work with electronic user interface screens for operation optimization, pulling production data and process reports
- Responsible for daily maintenance and periodic scheduled maintenance to minimize downtime
- Inventory tools and parts needed for machine operation
- Liaison with tech support and/or machine manufacturer as needed
- Understand and enforce Company Good Manufacturing Standards (GMP) standards
- Adhere to all quality standards for each SKU in production
- Work with QA team to ensure compliant packaging and labelling as required by Company and government regulations
- Develop and enforce a daily pre-production verification of packaging and all input materials
- Schedule and enforce production run product quality checks
- Track inventory of production batches of flower to be used for production
- Conduct cycle counts of all packaging and consumables
- Report daily production data and machine status to department managers
- Identify, track and consistently work to minimize all product and packaging material waste
- Ensure all regulated product used in production is properly accounted for in company database and government seed-to-sale inventory software systems
- Train and mentor team members and new employees on how to safely operate machinery; create a team mentality
- Identify safety concerns and potential hazards
- Participate in scheduled site safety-walks as regulated by OSHA
- Assist with research of customer complaints as related to production process and machinery to identify and eliminate root cause

Qualifications and Experience

POSITION SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES FOR ALL OPERATORS
· Sets up and operates machines according to instructions, specifications, and standard charts.

Position Overview
The Extraction Technician is responsible for following established protocols, regulations and procedures during the extraction process while operating equipment and conducting activities required to manufacture and store product, as well as properly maintain production equipment and materials necessary to run a sophisticated extraction lab.

Job Description
Manage Set-up, adjustments, and run strategy for the Gummy Packaging Machine. Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment and machinery during active operation to ensure optimal running conditions for maximum output of product and efficiency.
This position will be responsible for assisting in maintaining automation equipment, maintaining and troubleshooting facility equipment including but not limited to: HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Pneumatic systems, Low Voltage, CCTV, Office Equipment, and production equipment.
Equipment and Machines
- Manage set-up, adjustment protocol, and run strategy for Gummy Packaging Machine under the direct of the Equipment and Process Engineer.
- Execute preventative maintenance and calibration of the Packaging Machine through knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Ensure strong organization and inventory control of tool and parts inventories for the Packaging Machine. Work closely with the Equipment Technician(s) and Equipment/Process Engineer to request essential parts and components so that machines never go down for extended periods.
- Follow SOPs around Gummy Packaging machine set-up, cleaning, monitoring, and calibration; help develop and flush out current SOPs for specific machines.
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to wear face mask for long periods of time
- Experience with automation equipment, PLC, Mechanical Maintenance, and basic facility electrical and carpentry skills preferred.
- Preferred knowledge of proximity sensors, electric motors, pressure switches, bearings, gearing, PLC programs, Servo motors.
- Preferred experience in automation facility, PLC programming, industrial electrical applications, and manufacturing experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with supervisors and leads across many departments.
MUST be age 21 or over - California residency with valid ID is required
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended period of time
- Detail oriented and organized
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Must have excellent manual dexterity

Job Summary

Position Overview
The Extraction Technician is responsible for following established protocols, regulations and procedures during the extraction process while operating equipment and conducting activities required to manufacture and store product, as well as properly maintain production equipment and materials necessary to run a sophisticated extraction lab.

Major Areas of Responsibility include:
- Operating extraction and distillation equipment and handling extraction gases winterizing, refining, distilling, and/or formulating final product
- Follow Policies & Procedures for the daily operations and fully comply with state marijuana regulations
- Cleaning and maintenance of lab and extraction equipment as required by procedures and manufacturer specifications
- Maintain accountability of all raw materials, finished products, and by-product
- Maintain records of product and inventory within Seed-To-Sale software system
- Maintain safety equipment and records
- Perform clerical work as it pertains to extraction lab activities
- Understanding regulations/changes to regulations (local and state level)
- Perform QA/QC through analytical testing for quality, consistency and efficacy
- Master various techniques for marijuana extraction and infusion, including butane extraction
- Develop expertise in testing and formulating methods as well as the purification, separation and isolation of various compounds of cannabis
- Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):
Must pass a background check and submit personal information to LiveScan. Previous experience in plant processing mandatory:
- Speed and precision with equipment and attention to detail
- 2 years creating concentrates with BHO machines with focus on diamonds, batter/badder
