Sun-Maid Raisin Growers of California in Kingsburg is currently looking to hire experienced forklift drivers.

This is a full-time SEASONAL position. Must be flexible to work any shift. (AM, PM, GRAVEYARD)

OVERTIME/WEEKEND WORK REQUIRED.

Ability to work outdoors in all conditions.

Job summary.

Experienced forklift driver/slipsheeter.

Must be able to drive the forklift in a safe and efficient manner

Sit-down electric/propane

Singles/doubles/slipsheet/dumpers

Work safely in a fast-paced environment

Load and unload bins from trailers, move them to and from designated areas, machines and loading docks.

Stage all bins with scale tag together.

Stack bins four high and put in staging area.

Properly check and maintain fluid levels of forklift.

Move bins with the least amount of damage.

Keep records as needed.

Report any problems with lift truck to supervisor.

Properly fill out Drivers Daily Forklift Checklist.

Other duties as assigned

Work in all weather conditions.

Applicants will undergo a practical test of their ability to operate a forklift/WRITTEN TEST IS REQUIRED.

Union environment w/Union dues.

Must have the ability to speak, read and write English.

Must pass background check, drug screening and physical test.

Must follow instructions of supervisor and crew leader.

Must successfully complete training / certification and maintain certification.

Janitor

Sun-Maid Raisin Growers of California in Kingsburg is currently looking to hire Sanitation Workers.

Sanitation Graveyard shift: available to work 10PM to 6AM and Over Time when needed.

Job summary.

Must be able to operate and maintain equipment properly by following directions.

Clean work area to meet USDA standards.

Clean equipment/work areas at end of production.

Clean plug-ups on various lines.

Maintain transfer belts, shaker and chutes clean.

Remove pans from third dock and store in proper location.

Shovel fruit off the floor and into pans or waste chutes.

Previous experience a plus but not required.

Union environment/Union dues.

Must be able to work in all conditions and work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements ;

Must pass background check, drug screening and physical test.

High School diploma or equivalent, a plus

Must have the ability to speak, read and write English language

Good math skills, basic computer skills may be required
