Job Summary:
The Machine Operator facilitates the use and assists in troubleshooting specialized equipment for teams assigned to the machinery during production. You will ensure all activities related to the machinery such as room organization, machine calibration, and machine maintenance are followed at all times.
Essential Functions:
- Follow standard operating procedures during production runs.
- Trouble shoot, repair, and conduct preventative maintenance on any and all equipment once trained.
- Operates machinery within throughput and quality specifications.
- Ensures machinery is calibrated and well maintained with accurate record keeping.
- Responsible for production quality control for units created on their machinery.
- Continuously monitors the quality of all items associated with packaging and labeling in order to minimize waste or rework.
- Works as a member of a fast-paced team environment to help the team meet group goals.
- Maintains high level of cleanliness of all processing equipment / areas and sanitation practices.
- Reports any identifiable occurrence of mold, mildew, seeds, pests, or pathogens to the supervisor.
- Keeps a sanitary & organized production space.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- At least one or more years of related experience or equivalent processing experience
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Familiarity with packaging and weighing machinery
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
- Detail oriented and organized
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills
- Ability to work pm shift as necessary
- Knowledge of processing machine and ability to perform basic troubleshooting
- Skilled in following policies and procedures & standard operating procedure
- Team-oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, lifting, walking, standing, some bending/crouching, stooping, stretching, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull and balance up to 15 pounds and must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with plants and products.

LOCATION: Monterey County, Greenfield, CA. This is an in-office position post Covid and in accordance with county regulations.
SUMMARY: The Cost Accounting Manager will manage accounting activities for Loudpack cultivation, manufacturing and distribution operations. You will contribute business and financial expertise to the local leadership team to help drive profitability, including the identification of opportunities to reduce costs, increase efficiencies, and maximize output. As the Cost Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the local accounting activities including development and maintenance of Bill of Materials, variance analysis, weekly operating reporting, cash management, accounts payable, general accounting and cost accounting. This is a key finance and operations role that will play an integral part in supporting all aspects of accounting with hands on experience including standard cost rollup, manufacturing and PPV analysis, E&O analysis, and capitalization/amortization of variances.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage monthly and quarterly cost accounting close processes to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule
- Lead all cost accounting activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting, including quarterly standard cost change, physical inventory count and inventory roll forward
- Overall responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of the Company’s inventory including the adequacy of physical count procedures and inventory valuation systems
- Develop, implement, and maintain a cost accounting system, ledger, documentation, and records including the maintenance of standard costing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the standard costs and inventory valuations
- Analyze, investigate and report manufacturing variances including labor and overhead absorption reports, purchase price variance (PPV), scrap, excess and obsolete (E&O), inventory revaluation and overhead spending
- Review and approve purchase orders and internal material requests and document inventory and material purchases; monitor materials and productivity to determine the price and desired profit margins of the product
- Perform complex analysis, modeling, and other tool creation to enhance planning and reporting processes and provide leadership in decision-making processes through insightful analysis, fact-based recommendations and proactively identifying opportunities and risk
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of the weekly operation metric report including identifying and developing key performance indicators that align activities with operational goals and collaborate with senior management to explain results, make improvements, manage projects, identify inefficiencies, understand operations and lead the development of complex analysis
- Oversee a comprehensive set of cash control processes to mitigate financial risk and ensure accuracy of company records
- Assist in the accurate and timely completion of all government reporting and tax filings. This includes Federal 280e tax, CA cultivation and excise tax and local Cannabis Taxes and Business Tax Renewals
- Accountable for all cost accounting SOX controls
- Serve as the key technical accounting resource for the Company
- Coordinate with external auditors on physical inventory and cash controls
- Participate in a wide variety of projects and compile ad-hoc reports
- Helps establish, implement and deliver the farm/operational business objectives and strategies
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (Accounting or Finance), from an accredited Institution Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Preferred; Certified Managerial Accountant (CMA) and MBA desirable
- Big Four (4) public accounting experience is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and basic understanding of IFRS,
- 7-10 years of accounting experience, including 5+ years in related experience including prior experience in a manufacturing company
- 3-5 years strong cost accounting experience (Manufacturing), strong inventory, standard cost and manufacturing systems background
- Prior experience in developing SOPs for cash collections, control and reconciliations
- Experience in Intercompany transactions, reconciliations and consolidations
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines with efforts to streamline processes

Reporting to the Communications Manager, the Content Creator will work closely with our social media team to create exceptional photography and video, as well as creating innovative and clever content for social media to drive consumer engagement. The Content Creator develops, shoots and executes breakthrough content that helps extend the brands' stories across all relevant social and digital channels.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Shoot and direct photoshoots and video production at the Loudpack facility and possibly various other locations
- Execute beautiful, campaign quality photography/video for print and digital use
- Follow direction from the social team to create innovative, viral social content that is unique and embodies the style of each brand
- Edit photo and video content in appropriate software in accordance with brand guidelines
- Deliver consistent content that creates a cohesive feed for social media
- Execute call sheets/shot list
- Problem-solve the best, most efficient way to execute shoots under limiting circumstances and budget
- Ensure shot counts are met and daily workload is accurately documented and achieved
- Employ conceptual principles of lighting and composition to develop striking branding elements.
- Archive all content and maintain an accessible database
- Monitor the timing, integrity, and quality of deliverables for multiple projects simultaneously
- Keep up-to-date with trends in video publishing and social media to ensure content is always ahead of the curves
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Employ a deep understanding of why people engage with social media content, to tailor each post to elicit meaningful engagement, ultimately delivering audience growth
- Demonstrated knowledge of lighting equipment, artificial, and natural lighting, and how it affects different settings, etc.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Lightroom, Adobe Premiere
- Good communication and people skills, with the ability to discuss complex artistic concepts in easy-to-understand terms
- A keen eye for detail and a well-developed artistic and creative aesthetic

- Understanding of best practices on social media, and experience planning / executing photo / video shoots with little to no budget

- Communicates back with dispatch and or customer if ETA cannot be met
- Adds necessary notes into the system on the type of delivery
- Transfer returned/rejected product back to the location

- Must complete a physical inspection of vehicles and document daily
- Performs any other duties that may be requested by Supervisor or Management
