Originally founded in 2016, we specialize in non-volatile manufacturing including the production of cannabis infused gummies. Job Description
Assist in inventory, distribution, and fulfillment activities as needed.
- Conducting Inventory Cycle Counts/Stock Takes of non-finished goods and cannabis finished goods
- Intake of bulk finished goods and preparation of outgoing bulk finished goods
- Assist with receiving supplies, products, tools and equipment into the facility and processing receiving events in the ERP
- Maintain physical organization and facilitate movement of finished good inventory across the facility
- Inventory control and reconciliation in ERP system
- Inventory control and reconciliation in METRC Nevada Cannabis Track and Trace program
- Regularly run inventory audits to align physical, ERP, and METRC inventories
- Work with Inventory Supervisor to communicate finished and non-finished goods inventory needs and determine allocation of finished good inventory
- Creating labels for and applying labels to bulk cannabis finished goods
- Support oversight of wholesale order fulfillment, monitoring outgoing orders, interacting with our fulfillment partners
- Monitor distribution email and ensure our fulfillment partners are attending to each customer adequately and completely
- Assist the Inventory Supervisor with any additional task as needed
Requirements
- Basic personal computer skills including email, word processing, etc.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- At least 1 year Inventory Experience - METRC experience is a plus
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to wear face mask for long periods of time
- Must be able to obtain Nevada Production Agent Card from the Cannabis Compliance Board
- Must be able to obtain Southern Nevada Health District food handlers card.
- MUST be old enough to work in cannabis in NV - Valid ID or Driver's License required
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended period of time
- Detail oriented and organized

Sunderstorm is in the process of expanding its gummy manufacturing operations to Nevada, and are looking for hard-working, positive, and motivated individuals to join the new teams we are building in other states. If you are selected; part of your training process may require you to travel to CA; but the bulk of your training will be provided at your local manufacturing site.**Summary/Objective:**The Packaging Machine Operator will be thoroughly trained and managed by the Engineering Manager; company sponsored training will occur in California as well as on-site in Nevada - so willingness to travel is required. Packaging Machine Operators are primarily responsible for Managing the set-up, adjustments, and run strategy for the automated Gummy Packaging Machine. They must also manage and conduct daily/regular preventative maintenance before active operating hours, and troubleshoot the machine as needed during active operations. The main goal of this position is to ensure optimal running conditions for maximum quality, efficiency, and output of finished packaged products. As a member of the greater production team, they may also occasionally be asked to assist with other aspects of production and operations as needed; including but not limited to: raw material and finished goods counts, gummy processing, and general warehousing tasks.**Responsibilities:
- Manage set-up, adjustment protocol, and run strategy for Gummy Packaging Machine under the direction of the Engineering Manager.
- Execute preventative maintenance and calibration of the Packaging Machine through knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Ensure strong organization and inventory control of tool and parts inventories for the Packaging Machine. Work closely with the Engineering Manager and Purchasing Department to request essential parts and components so that machines never go down for extended periods.
- Follow SOPs around Gummy Packaging machine set-up, cleaning, monitoring, and calibration; help develop and flush out current SOPs for specific machines.
- Use band sealer and check weigher to seal and check the weight of bags
- Ensure proper labeling of all bags and ensure that each bag is completely sealed and is accurately stickered with batch information
- Ensure that packaging area is kept clean and organized
- Check quality of gummies: color, consistency, full or partial coating of sugar
- Communicate with Leads and General Manager when you encounter any issues whatsoever; ie - operating equipment, product quality issues, or otherwise
- Ensure all the necessary records are kept and populated according to standards set by your Supervisor/Lead.
**Required Qualifications:
- At least 1-2 years of experience operating, troubleshooting technical/mechanical issues on automated machines and equipment
- Intermediate PC skills including email, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics.
- Up to date food handler’s certificate.
- Great communication skills and teamwork
- Preferred but not required, experience in the cannabis industry, work experience in production facilities or restaurants, experience with machines.
- Ability to sit and stand for a long period of time,and be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Great communication skills, positive attitude, trustworthy, dependable, accountable for own actions, motivate team members, able to delegate minor tasks, and able to receive constructive criticism.
- Ability to stand for 8 hours, leaning over and lifting bins, must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Job Overview
