The Director of Sales will assist in shaping our sales department and scale revenue to the next level. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting a sales strategy, developing and coaching a remote sales team of Regional Sales Managers across the United States as well as a growing an inside sales team. This person should be excited by selling into emerging markets, strategizing the next steps, negotiating complex deals, and beating the competition in head-to-head opportunities.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Direct a remote and inside sales team, overseeing the activities of each team member.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
- Create and effectively communicate the sales goals and ensure the CEO and leadership team are informed on the progress of those goals.
- Coordinates sales forecasting, budgeting, planning, and process optimization.
- Support equitable assignment of sales force quotas and ensuring that quotas are optimally assigned to all sales channels.
- Assure that sales objectives are assigned in a timely fashion and develop the business sales targets and values, hence, creating a working culture for the sales force.
- Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.
- Report on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets.
- Coordinate the training of sales management and sales support personnel within the sales department to ensure the optimal performance of the sales force.
- Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
- Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes.
- Completes sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
- Maintains sales staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
- Plans, monitors, and appraises job results.
- Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies, analyzing trends, and results.
- Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories and projecting expected sales volumes and profit for existing and new products.
- Responsible for seeking out opportunities that further the sales initiatives.
- Implement sales programs by developing sales action plans.
- Maintains sales volume by tracking changing trends, economic indicators, competitors, and supply and demand.
- Provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development
- Fosters close and cooperative relationships with fellow internal leaders, including the Engineering, Product, and Marketing managers; as well as sales managers in order to optimize the effectiveness of the business's sales efforts at all fronts.
- Collaborates with the finance department in formulating and deciding sales team budgetary allocations for optimal functioning and performance.
- Works with the Human Resource department in providing the recruitment criteria for key sales team positions to guarantee proper execution of duties in those positions and therefore, the entire sales department.
- Collaborates with and reports to the CEO.
Sales Director Qualifications / Skills:
- At least 5 years of relevant sales experience including management of remote sales team and a proven track record of exceeding quota.
- Ability to effectively communicate detailed sales strategies.
- Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.

Job Requirements
For this role, you must be a creative and quantitative thinker. You should be familiar with various product marketing techniques, like email campaigns and pricing strategies.
Your goal will be to develop and implement the most profitable plans to position and promote our products.
Responsibilities

Job Description:
Summary/ObjectiveThe machine operator position operates a variety of machines in a manufacturing process under supervision and direction of production lead.

- Performs typical machine shop operations to support the assembly floor
- Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department lead
- Repair or replace worn or defective parts or components, using hand tools

- Observe drilling or boring machine operations to detect any problems.
- Maintain machine tools in proper operational condition. Replace worn tool bits when damaged.

Job responsibilities may include the following:
- Review standard operating procedures (SOP’s) to ensure work is performed according to specifications.
- Perform repetitive bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and subassemblies, using hand tools.
- Rotate through all the tasks required on assembly-line in a particular production process.
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department lead and/or manager.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
- Inspect, operate, and test completed products to verify functioning and machine capabilities.
- Produce high-quality work and meet daily goals set by the production manager.
- Package products for storage or shipment.
- Clean and lubricate equipment
