The Role
GTI is seeking a Quality and Compliance Specialist to join our cultivation facility. As a Quality and Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for executing operational quality and compliance related activities at the facility associated with sampling and inspection of incoming material, in process, and finished products, documentation control, quality event investigation, compliance, and audit. This position will also help ensure products are being produced in a manner that meets all specifications and brand consistency. You will also assist in identifying potential quality risks and working with operations personnel to develop improvement opportunities. Uses experience and knowledge to influence processes, standards, and plans to improve compliance with internal and external standards.
Responsibilities
- Establish and perform incoming, in-process, and finished product sampling and inspection.
- Reviews in-process batch documentation, logbooks, test results, and good documentation practices.
- Assist site documentation control system. Ensure harmonization of 1GTI quality system.
- Writes Quality Inspection SOPs and forms, including routing and/or approval of change request packages, as requested.
- Facilitate State regulatory and/or 3rd party site inspections.
- Monitor site's compliance to GTI corporate Quality System.
- Assist in performing weekly internal audit to monitor site's compliance activities to State regulations
- Segregation, control and disposition of non-conforming product.
- Identify, recommend and perform quality training as needed.
- Ensure maintenance and control of production quality records.
- Assist production personnel in the investigation of root causes and corrective action of internal rejects, corrective/preventive action, out of control SPC points, and customer complaints.

Qualifications
- Associates Degree required
- Prior experience in regulated industry in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceutical, consumer packaged goods (food), or cannabis is highly desired.
- Highly desirable: FDA, GMP, SQF, and/or HACCP experience.
- Strong experience with product sampling and inspection.
- Ability to follow written procedures and monitor others for adherence to written procedures.

The Role
As a Sr Production Technician, you will be responsible for producing cannabis products within our wide portfolio. The Role

The Role

The Role
In this role you will work to efficiently trim cannabis plants, while creating minimal waste, resulting in a high-quality product that is compliant and ready for sale or processing. This person will be responsible for maintaining and following standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities
- Trim flower from plants in a quick and efficient manner, while ensuring a quality product
- Trim flower by hand and/or using trimming, sorting and packaging equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Sit and stand for long periods of time while focusing on detail-oriented trimming, as well as post trim upkeep
- Track the amount of unusable waste for each plant/batch, in addition to usable by-products
- Demonstrate proficiency with weights, measurements, and math

The Site EHS/Security Supervisor at a Cultivation Facility shall provide direct support, oversight and coordination of the EHS and security team ensuring the implementation of OSHA Regulations, State and Local Laws, internal Policies and Procedures, GTI security procedures, and operational plans.  The EHS/Security Supervisor shall work closely with the General Manager and the Leadership Team of the Cultivation Facility and be a resource for the staff on OSHA regulations, regulatory compliance relating to security, and policies and procedures and ensure the safety and security of the facility and the protection of company employees and assets.  The EHS/Security Supervisor is responsible for oversight of reducing injuries and to reduce liability claims. The EHS/Security Supervisor shall be responsible for oversight of monitoring the site grounds, facility, visitors, vendors and staff.  The EHS/Security Supervisor shall be responsible for operation and monitoring of the sites video surveillance system, access control system and perimeter security system ensuring its functionality and compliance. 
The EHS/Security Supervisor’s main functions is to establish and coordinate compliance in environmental, health, and safety as well as security and general compliance by having an in-depth working knowledge and understanding of all applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations, provisions, laws, and of the operational permit, GTI SOP(s), policies and procedures, and the medical marijuana program in the specific state of operations. The EHS/Security Manager shall own all the aspects of Cultivation EHS and security operations, security plans, procedures, and policy as well as coordinate and oversee all EHS and security operations for the facility.   
Responsibilities
- Ensure Protection of Personnel, Protection of GTI Operational Permits and Licenses and Protection of company assets through consistent application of GTI Security Operational Plans supported by SOP(s) that are compliant individualized for specific markets.
- Oversight on OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and internal programs to include maintaining, updating, and implementation.  
- Escalate any issues according to the Escalation Processes.
- Possess an in-depth knowledge and understanding of OSHA, Federal, State, and Local code.
- Support and implement safety-based programs.
- Possess an in-depth understanding of the individual regulations and laws as it pertains to the Medical Marijuana program including wholesale cultivation operational regulations for individual markets 
- Implement SOP and procedures for security operations for wholesale cultivation, manufacturing and processing facilities in accordance with the GTI operational security plan 
- Implement and ensure a regularly scheduled GAP inspection is conducted and documented at their site bi-annually to ensure security operational compliance 
- Conduct audits/inspections of the wholesale site on an annual basis reporting and documenting any deficiencies with corrective actions plans to address 
- Provide training of security personnel on regulatory and operational compliance 
- Participate in or ensure security personnel are opening and closing the facility as outlined in DOH Regulations 
- Provide oversight of all site security team members assigned to the wholesale operational sites 
- Ensure the site is adequately staffed with security personnel equivalent to provide coverage of all operational hours or as outlined in application for operational permitting.  
- Have an in-depth working knowledge and understanding of all applicable state regulations, GTI SOP and the medical marijuana program to ensure all GTI operational and permits and licensed are not compromised.  Work with the site leadership team to ensure compliant operation of appropriate security systems including surveillance, access controls, and perimeter security components 
- Fluent in all aspects of security for the building including: State regulatory security regulations, SOP, set up and oversight of security systems, access control and badging process (background check, finger printing) to include establishing rules, processes and procedures  
- Ensure internal controls, procedures and policies are met from a security and safety perspective for wholesale operations.  
- Support the implementation and execution of training programs for site security personnel 
- Work with the Compliance team and EHS team on creating and updating SOPs for facility safety, security deliveries, transportation, and other responsibilities, as needed or necessary, and all other compliance needs  
- Provide oversight of all internal investigations into security or compliance failures or breaches 
- Provide technical review of hiring of site security personnel  
- Interviews and reference checks and all necessary pre-employment screenings through hiring process 
- Conduct and support onboarding training for personnel 
- Support, teach, coordinate training, or implement through site security personnel, topics may include anti-crime, robbery, active shooter diversion, shrinkage, loss, and theft prevention  
- Support or provide direct assistance and oversight of all internal investigations relating to compliance, regulatory, or SOP violations  
- At as liaison with DOH on violations of regulatory compliance as necessary. 
Work with GTI legal team on internal investigations relating to diversion, theft, or criminal and compliance violation
Qualifications
- Military, law-enforcement or security background strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or related subjects preferred

The Role
As a Sr Production Technician, you will be responsible for producing cannabis products within our wide portfolio. The Role
The Site EHS/Security Supervisor at a Cultivation Facility shall provide direct support, oversight and coordination of the EHS and security team ensuring the implementation of OSHA Regulations, State and Local Laws, internal Policies and Procedures, GTI security procedures, and operational plans. The EHS/Security Supervisor shall work closely with the General Manager and the Leadership Team of the Cultivation Facility and be a resource for the staff on OSHA regulations, regulatory compliance relating to security, and policies and procedures and ensure the safety and security of the facility and the protection of company employees and assets. The EHS/Security Supervisor is responsible for oversight of reducing injuries and to reduce liability claims. The EHS/Security Supervisor shall be responsible for oversight of monitoring the site grounds, facility, visitors, vendors and staff. The EHS/Security Supervisor shall be responsible for operation and monitoring of the sites video surveillance system, access control system and perimeter security system ensuring its functionality and compliance. The EHS/Security Supervisor's main functions is to establish and coordinate compliance in environmental, health, and safety as well as security and general compliance by having an in-depth working knowledge and understanding of all applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations, provisions, laws, and of the operational permit, GTI SOP(s), policies and procedures, and the medical marijuana program in the specific state of operations. The EHS/Security Manager shall own all the aspects of Cultivation EHS and security operations, security plans, procedures, and policy as well as coordinate and oversee all EHS and security operations for the facility.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Protection of Personnel, Protection of GTI Operational Permits and Licenses and Protection of company assets through consistent application of GTI Security Operational Plans supported by SOP(s) that are compliant individualized for specific markets.
- Oversight on OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and internal programs to include maintaining, updating, and implementation.
- Escalate any issues according to the Escalation Processes.
- Possess an in-depth knowledge and understanding of OSHA, Federal, State, and Local code.
- Support and implement safety-based programs.
- Possess an in-depth understanding of the individual regulations and laws as it pertains to the Medical Marijuana program including wholesale cultivation operational regulations for individual markets
- Implement SOP and procedures for security operations for wholesale cultivation, manufacturing and processing facilities in accordance with the GTI operational security plan
- Implement and ensure a regularly scheduled GAP inspection is conducted and documented at their site bi-annually to ensure security operational compliance
- Conduct audits/inspections of the wholesale site on an annual basis reporting and documenting any deficiencies with corrective actions plans to address
- Provide training of security personnel on regulatory and operational compliance
- Participate in or ensure security personnel are opening and closing the facility as outlined in DOH Regulations
- Provide oversight of all site security team members assigned to the wholesale operational sites
- Ensure the site is adequately staffed with security personnel equivalent to provide coverage of all operational hours or as outlined in application for operational permitting.
- Have an in-depth working knowledge and understanding of all applicable state regulations, GTI SOP and the medical marijuana program to ensure all GTI operational and permits and licensed are not compromised. Work with the site leadership team to ensure compliant operation of appropriate security systems including surveillance, access controls, and perimeter security components
- Fluent in all aspects of security for the building including: State regulatory security regulations, SOP, set up and oversight of security systems, access control and badging process (background check, finger printing) to include establishing rules, processes and procedures
- Ensure internal controls, procedures and policies are met from a security and safety perspective for wholesale operations.
- Support the implementation and execution of training programs for site security personnel
- Work with the Compliance team and EHS team on creating and updating SOPs for facility safety, security deliveries, transportation, and other responsibilities, as needed or necessary, and all other compliance needs
- Provide oversight of all internal investigations into security or compliance failures or breaches
- Provide technical review of hiring of site security personnel
- Interviews and reference checks and all necessary pre-employment screenings through hiring process
- Conduct and support onboarding training for personnel

GTI is seeking a Quality and Compliance Specialist to join our cultivation facility. As a Quality and Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for executing operational quality and compliance related activities at the facility associated with sampling and inspection of incoming material, in process, and finished products, documentation control, quality event investigation, compliance, and audit. This position will also help ensure products are being produced in a manner that meets all specifications and brand consistency. You will also assist in identifying potential quality risks and working with operations personnel to develop improvement opportunities. Uses experience and knowledge to influence processes, standards, and plans to improve compliance with internal and external standards.
Responsibilities
- Establish and perform incoming, in-process, and finished product sampling and inspection.
- Reviews in-process batch documentation, logbooks, test results, and good documentation practices.
- Assist site documentation control system. Ensure harmonization of 1GTI quality system.
- Writes Quality Inspection SOPs and forms, including routing and/or approval of change request packages, as requested.
- Facilitate State regulatory and/or 3rd party site inspections.
- Monitor site's compliance to GTI corporate Quality System.
- Assist in performing weekly internal audit to monitor site's compliance activities to State regulations
- Segregation, control and disposition of non-conforming product.
- Identify, recommend and perform quality training as needed.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Planner is to determine how a specific job will be performed and who will perform which activities for our large manufacturing sites at Green Thumb. The Maintenance Planner is responsible for facilitating communication between production departments and maintenance departments. As the Maintenance Planner the individual is also responsible for the development and control of the Maintenance Weekly Work Schedules, including balancing the workload with the available resources. Emphasis will be on schedule consistency and workability, which supports meeting the Production or Facility needs. This individual will be required to successfully maintain accurate schedules throughout development and execution. This includes updating and publishing the Weekly Work Schedules as required. - Assist in the development of work windows and contingency plans, by working with Work Week Supervisors, Maintenance Manager, Project Managers and Reliability Engineers

The Role
The Security Specialist is responsible for the safety and security of all assets, property, personnel, patients/customers, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Protect property from theft, embezzlement, sabotage, trespassing, fire and accidents
- Observe and report any unlawful activity
- Protect individuals, property, and proprietary information from harm or misappropriation
- Control access to premises
- Investigate and take the appropriate lawful actions on accidents, incidents, trespassing, suspicious activity, safety, and fire
- Neutralize situations calmly with tact and common sense
- Watch for safety and fire hazards and other related situations
- Enforce policies and procedures of the company
- Provide assistance to customers, employees, visitors, or the public
- Perform requests by the customers within scope of security duties or within reason

Qualifications
- Military, law-enforcement or security background strongly preferred

The Role
The purpose of this position is to ensure the successful quality and compliance management operations at our Oglesby, IL cultivation facility. This position will play a key role in developing, implementing, and upgrading quality assurance policies and standard operating procedures, as well as compliance, development, and implementation of HACCP programs, product quality tracking systems, FDA standards, ingredient management programs, allergen and sanitization management programs, product safety practices, internal and external audits, etc. This position will also ensure compliance with all Green Thumb corporate operating procedures, as well as applicable federal, state, county, and municipal laws, regulations, ordinances, and regulations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports the Quality Department and ensure all employees understand and follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Define, implement, and improve the Quality Management System including development of process and product testing to ensure quality standards are met and oversee determination of finished product disposition
- Partner with management to lead quality initiatives that develop and maintain a high performing, scalable, and compliant quality system
- Implement, maintain, and audit sanitation and quality control practices that ensure the safety and quality of cannabis including purity and consistency
- Implement HACCP, GMP. allergen, and sanitization management programs
- Review and approve decisions about whether to investigate a cannabis product complaint and review and approve the findings and follow-up action of any investigation performed
- Perform or oversee routine audits of compliance processes to assure accuracy and thoroughness of completion
- Support in State regulatory compliance inspections, investigate and resolve compliance concerns, issues, or violations
- Analyze facility trends to assess potential areas of continued non-compliance
- Publish monthly metrics focused on facility current QA/QC progress
- Routinely reviews monthly corporate QA/QC documentation and assures that all areas of concern are addressed appropriately according to corporate policy and regulatory standards
- Write Quality SOPs or other standards as necessary
- Manage, train, and develop QA/QC employees to perform in a proficient manner, providing motivation through personal example and interpersonal skills to create a cohesive unit
- Promote awareness and responsibility through training and regular communication throughout the facility
- Establish staff goals, monitor employee performance, and provide regular 1:1 performance feedback to help employees succeed
- Fosters a high-performance culture through active leadership and create a strong sense of accountability within the Quality Department
- Perform assigned Quality Inspections
- Expected to adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP and HACCP guidelines, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect product safety, product quality or personnel safety
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management
- May make decisions and perform the job responsibilities of the Quality & Compliance Manager in their absence
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field required, Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of regulatory compliance management including interfacing with regulators and inspectors
- 5+ years work experience with a proven track record of building and developing QA/QC processes and systems
- Must have the knowledge and skills required to work in a fast paced and challenging environment
- Must be able to work variable day shifts dependent on business need
- Knowledge of the GMP, HACCP and Environmental sanitation programs
- Experience with SQF, ISO, GMP, ASQ, HACCP, PCQI or similar certification experience preferred
- QMS auditor or similar certification preferred
- Possess a strong knowledge of sanitary design, specification, and implementation of foodpharmaceutical processing systems
- Ability to deliver specific organizational goals and effectively develop, grow, and manage a diverse multisite team to achieve objectives
- Track record of engaging teams and creating a collaborative culture
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Exceptional computer skills in Microsoft® Office Suite (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word)
- Strong detail-oriented and resourceful mindset

Position Summary: IVCC is seeking an enthusiastic, flexible and highly energetic person to teach and assess student learning in the discipline of agriculture and serve as the Co-Program Coordinator to promote the program to internal and external stakeholders, prospective and current students, and to represent IVCC within the agricultural community. This instructor will play a key leadership role in building a strong program, preparing students for transfer to four-year institutions and others for employment in related areas such as animal science, business and precision agriculture, agronomy, and cannabis production.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Agriculture OR a Master's degree in a related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in Agriculture from an accredited college/university required; teaching experience at the college level in Agriculture preferred, including familiarity with on-line courses; computer knowledge and commitment to the use of new technologies in the classroom; experience with Smart classroom technology; and demonstrated commitment to the mission of the community college.
