SUMMARY:
The Security Manager manages the day-to-day performance of external security guards who ensure the protection of the Company's staff, visitors, facilities, and assets. This critical role also develops and enforces security and safety policies and procedures for compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The Security Manager will act as a liaison to all departments on security and safety measures, procedures, and needs as well as liaising with law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (This list is not intended to be all inclusive)
- Monitor and control incoming/outgoing of vehicles and people onto the property and premises; verify government-issued identification or other credentials prior to allowing access/entry to ensure only compliant individuals enter the premises and stay in designated areas.
- Enforce all Company rules for employees, contractors and visitors, i.e. no smoking, safe travel, dress code, etc.
- Protect clients, visitors, staff and company assets from harm, damage and/or theft.
- Work closely with Director of Security to develop and maintain loss prevention program to reduce shrink and company losses.
- Resolve security and safety issues promptly by partnering with other departments as necessary.
- Assist HR personnel with investigations, interviews, and other matters related to employment and employee conduct.
- Ensure Company policies and procedures are being observed by department staff.
- Maintain discretion at all times with all vendor and contractor information; also maintains confidentiality of all sensitive business information.
- Perform security perimeter patrols including investigation of suspicious persons and vehicles through surveillance and subsequent searches as necessary. Closely check the perimeter fence line for anything unusual that could be considered a breach.
- Monitor CCTV surveillance equipment for potential threats and suspicious activity; watch for irregular or unusual conditions or interactions which may create security concerns or safety hazards.
- Closely monitor and operate cameras throughout the property and document when cameras are not working or need cleaning or adjusting to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Accurately and effectively communicate with other staff members using a handheld two-way radio of any condition or event that may pose a safety or security concern.
- Assist with sales and transports of product (e.g., monitor cash exchange, escort cash or product from point A to point B, load or unloading of product sold.).
- Direct and monitor third-party security team throughout the day and night to make sure they follow established policies and procedures and answer questions they may have.
- In cooperation with the facilities maintenance team, ensure all safety related equipment are functioning and in good working order including portable radios, security cameras, door locks, and alarms.
- Check daily logs to make sure all officers have read and understood and initialed them (pass-down log, lost and found log, suspicious vehicle log and camera log).
- Respond to alarms or emergency events; notify the appropriate law enforcement or emergency department.
- Investigate and prepare detailed and accurate incident reports for upper management by recording observations, information, occurrences, and interviewing witnesses.
- Create employee badges and grant access to authorized work locations.
- Set alarms and disarm alarms as necessary.
- Work closely with the Safety Manager to maintain a robust in-house safety training program.
- Conduct scheduled drills (Fire, Active Shooter, Robbery, etc.) to ensure all employees are up to date with emergency procedures.
- Manage and direct the daily activities of the location and assigned staff and functions including:
- Schedules and supervises third party security team.
- Assist Safety Manager with ensuring work location meets Cal-OSHA regulation requirements and team members are trained on safety precautions, addresses any safety concerns, investigate any accident, injury, illness or near miss and is responsible for ensuring all med bags are stocked and fire extinguishers are checked routinely.
- Ensures locations EAP and IIPP programs are implemented and followed by team members.
- Exercise significant authority and discretion when addressing items that concern the location, including:
- Participate in developing and implementing rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to advance the company's mission, vision, goals and objectives.
- Performance of third-party security personnel
- Potential or actual safety and security issues

SUMMARY:
The Compliance Manager – Greenfield is responsible for ensuring that all locations and facilities within the City of Greenfield are operating in compliance with federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations. The Compliance Manager – Greenfield will also work closely with the District Compliance Manager – Northern California for additional support to enhance the compliance function at the Greenfield Facility.
This position also helps secure, manage, and maintain various licenses and permits including the coordination of department compliance oversight, stakeholder communications, operational and regulatory analysis, and department budget management. The Compliance Manager – Greenfield will collaborate and partner with departments throughout the Company to ensure standard operating procedures are followed and are updated as necessary to maximize efficient and effective operations while remaining compliant. This position is also responsible for providing compliance related guidance and trainings and will help maintain and update safety standard operating procedures and trainings to ensure the company operates in accordance with all applicable rules and regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (This list is not intended to be all inclusive)
- Oversee, coordinate, and monitor the day-to-day quality assurance and compliance activities of the business units.
- Coordinate with department business partners to establish company-wide compliance manuals (for example: work instructions or standard operating procedures); maintain and supplement compliance manuals as necessary.
- Develop and execute training programs to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Establish, supervise, and identify quality assurance and compliance issues at the departmental level; ensure appropriate communication for pertinent issues between local and corporate levels.
- Review and approve corrective action plans submitted to the DCC and ensure timely execution of plans including remediation, recall, and destruction of products or other goods.
- Understand and ensure the Company's commitment to comply with all laws, regulations, Company policies, and ethical requirements applicable to the conduct of business.
- Facilitate and implement an effective quality assurance and compliance program and coordinate resources to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of the program.
- As part of the quality assurance and compliance program, assist operational teams with the proper use and troubleshooting of the state mandated track-and-trace system (i.e., METRC).
- Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to address identified risks.
- Regularly review the quality assurance and compliance program and recommend appropriate revisions and modifications, including advising leadership of potential risk areas.
- Monitor and respond to retaliation-free reporting channels, including an anonymous telephone reporting system available to all employees, volunteers, customers, and vendors.
- Ensure that internal controls can prevent and detect significant instances or patterns of illegal, unethical, or improper conduct by employees, agents, contractors, or others working with the organization. Provide written documentation of such controls and any breaches or instances of illegal and/or improper conduct.
- Coordinate as appropriate with legal counsel, to conduct or authorize and oversee investigations of matters that merit investigation from a compliance or regulatory perspective.
- Oversee follow-up and, as applicable, resolution to investigations and other issues generated by the quality assurance and compliance program, including development of corrective action plans, as needed. Provide written reports of investigations as well as any corrective action plans.
- In coordination with the Security Department and People Operations, develop and help manage a robust safety program at the facility that ensures regular training and compliance with applicable safety laws and regulations (e.g., Cal-OSHA, Injury and Illness Prevention, Emergency Action Plans, etc.)
- Assist with the maintenance of licenses, permits and related documents as needed and as directed.
- Communicate and respond as directed with various state and local regulators (e.g., Department of Cannabis Control; City of Greenfield; etc.) Provide and maintain written records and reports of communications with regulators as needed.
- Assist with the collection, organization, and maintenance of required documents for compliance and licensing (e.g., premises diagrams, SOPs, live scans, financial information, owner submittals, etc.)
- Track, maintain and communicate compliance updates with department and senior management as needed.
- Provide written reports and summaries of compliance related work on a weekly basis or as needed to supervisor.
- Develop productive working relationships with all levels of management and staff.
- Perform a variety of tasks to assist the Compliance Department to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
- Perform routine internal audits to ensure that business is operating in accordance with regulations.
- Coordinate with business partners to establish and update a compliance manual.
- Create, implement, administer, and enforce policies, procedures and laws required for a company to operate in accordance with the law and regulations.

Job Description
- Maintain an expert understanding of the Petalfast brands you’re scheduled to represent including product details, brand mission/values, and related general cannabis knowledge.
- Staff consumer-facing marketing activations such as in-store demos and events at retail.
- Increase brand awareness at retail through consumer education and engagement, driving in-store sales and building customer loyalty.
- Communicate to customers pricing promotion/deal, key selling points, product effects and use-cases, and proper dosing of cannabis products represented.
- Provide non-dosed samples and gift branded swag to interested customers. Encourage consumers to connect with brands through digital platforms (i.e. follow on social media, sign up for email newsletter).
- Create harmonious relationships with Petalfast’s retail partners and their staff to cultivate a strong affinity for Petalfast’s portfolio of brands
- Track all activity, stats, and consumer insights/feedback through detailed and constructive recap reports, submitted directly following shifts.
- Consistent and proactive communication with Petalfast Field Marketing Specialist to coordinate demo/event logistics, integrate best practices, and share your success stories and key learnings.
Skills, Education + Experience Required
- 2 years of experience in events, retail, customer service, or related fields. Familiar with basic event marketing, promotions, and sales tactics.

- Establish, supervise, and identify quality assurance and compliance issues at the departmental level; ensure appropriate communication for pertinent issues between local and corporate levels.
- Review and approve corrective action plans submitted to the DCC and ensure timely execution of plans including remediation, recall, and destruction of products or other goods.

- Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to address identified risks.
- Regularly review the quality assurance and compliance program and recommend appropriate revisions and modifications, including advising leadership of potential risk areas.
- Monitor and respond to retaliation-free reporting channels, including an anonymous telephone reporting system available to all employees, volunteers, customers, and vendors.
- Ensure that internal controls can prevent and detect significant instances or patterns of illegal, unethical, or improper conduct by employees, agents, contractors, or others working with the organization. Provide written documentation of such controls and any breaches or instances of illegal and/or improper conduct.
- Coordinate as appropriate with legal counsel, to conduct or authorize and oversee investigations of matters that merit investigation from a compliance or regulatory perspective.
- Oversee follow-up and, as applicable, resolution to investigations and other issues generated by the quality assurance and compliance program, including development of corrective action plans, as needed. Provide written reports of investigations as well as any corrective action plans.
- In coordination with the Security Department and People Operations, develop and help manage a robust safety program at the facility that ensures regular training and compliance with applicable safety laws and regulations (e.g., Cal-OSHA, Injury and Illness Prevention, Emergency Action Plans, etc.)
- Assist with the maintenance of licenses, permits and related documents as needed and as directed.
- Communicate and respond as directed with various state and local regulators (e.g., Department of Cannabis Control; City of Greenfield; etc.) Provide and maintain written records and reports of communications with regulators as needed.
- Assist with the collection, organization, and maintenance of required documents for compliance and licensing (e.g., premises diagrams, SOPs, live scans, financial information, owner submittals, etc.)
- Track, maintain and communicate compliance updates with department and senior management as needed.
- Provide written reports and summaries of compliance related work on a weekly basis or as needed to supervisor.
- Develop productive working relationships with all levels of management and staff.
- Perform a variety of tasks to assist the Compliance Department to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
- Perform routine internal audits to ensure that business is operating in accordance with regulations.
- Coordinate with business partners to establish and update a compliance manual.
- Create, implement, administer, and enforce policies, procedures and laws required for a company to operate in accordance with the law and regulations.

SUMMARY:
The QA/QC Technician will document and ensure adherence to the manufacturing operations' quality control processes and standards. The incumbent inspects procedures and outputs and identifies mistakes or non-conformity issues within the production process.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts inspections according to approved procedures/specifications set forth by management.
- Reads and understands data sheets and component specifications, ability to Certificate of Analysis (CoA) and basic calculations
- Measures product dimensions, examines functionality, and compares the final product to the standard specifications.
- Performs regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping.
- Tracks the status of incoming materials, ensures computer databases/worksheets are updated and keeps QA Supervisor and other appropriate departments informed of status.
- Documents inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
- Conducts quality investigations for non-conforming product and recommends corrective action / preventative action (CAPA) plan.
- Recommends improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.
- Assists and ensures the Quality Management System and regulatory compliance requirements are effectively maintained, implemented and monitored.
- Provides continuous assessment of the Quality Management System including internal audit and other related processes to ensure compliance requirements.
- Identifies gaps, enhancements and creates/establishes process checklists/forms, work instructions, non-conformance reports and ensure all quality check procedures are put in place.

- Stays aware of the schedule of upcoming routes in order to be able to adjust sleep schedule accordingly to remain alert while transporting products.
- Updates and maintains proper reports and documents as related to position such as Driver Summaries and Expense Reports.
- Handles missing counts of large quantities by checking in with the supervisor and Processing department.
- Handles issues with personnel at retail stores as these raise, including but not limited to: bad check-ins, difficult relations with store employees, and/or being delayed repeatedly by personnel from the store.
- May be required to make last minute route adjustments for traffic or schedule interruptions.
- Handles product shortages onsite with retail stores.

Higher Level of Care - Greenfield is currently seeking a Retail Specialist (aka Budtender) for part-time and full-time positions at our Greenfield location.
An understanding of the cannabis industry is preferred, but it is not a requirement and we strongly encourage those without direct cannabis experience to apply. However, a basic understanding of cannabis products and general product knowledge is imperative, so we strongly encourage those without cannabis experience to do their homework prior to applying.

Higher Level of Care - Greenfield is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to manage our front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact when customers enter our facility. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls. To be successful as a Receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. The Order Selector is responsible for selecting product in a safe and efficient manner, which includes reading labels, scanning location barcodes from multi-level rack warehouse storage systems, placing product in boxes, and preparing it for shipping.
Job Responsibilities
· Accurately pick products by scanning barcodes using a handheld scan device.
· Manually place the appropriate stock items on pick cart from pick slots and racks as required.
· Hand pack and stack cases of product weighing up to 30 pounds repetitively from floor to 4ft.
· Hand tag orders with label and move completed order to the loading dock area
· Meet required productivity and accuracy standards per company guidelines.
· Flexibility to work overtime and weekend as needed is required
· Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
- Able to stand, walk, reach, aand lift repeatedly throughout shift. Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-25 pounds.

Police Sergeant
The City of Greenfield is looking for a new Police Sergeant. Under direction of the Chief of Police and/or Captain, the sergeant plans, schedules, organizes, supervises, reviews and evaluates the work of police officers and professional staff; trains sworn staff and provides for their professional development; provides administrative and budgetary support to the Chief of Police; and performs related work as required. This position is responsible for planning patrol and public service activities and for assisting in various administrative areas. While the Sergeant may respond to calls for service, the primary responsibilities are supervisory, including the coordination of activities with those of other City departments and law enforcement agencies.
About the Department
The Police Department has twenty-five (25) sworn officers, and eight (8) Professional personnel. The current authorized staffing is one (1) Chief, one (1) Captain, five (5) Sergeants, and eighteen (18) Police Officers. Those sworn positions are supported by one (1) Executive Assistant, one (1) Records Supervisor, one (1) Records Technician, one (1) Property and Evidence Technician, two (2) Animal Control Officers, two (2) Code Enforcement Officers, one (1) Community Service Officer, and one (1) part time Crime Scene Investigator. The department services include patrol, investigations, vehicle abatement, records, animal control, and School Resource Officer program.

Minimum Qualifications:

Licenses/Training Certificates:

Job Summary:
The Machine Operator facilitates the use and assists in troubleshooting specialized equipment for teams assigned to the machinery during production. You will ensure all activities related to the machinery such as room organization, machine calibration, and machine maintenance are followed at all times.
Essential Functions:
- Follow standard operating procedures during production runs.
- Trouble shoot, repair, and conduct preventative maintenance on any and all equipment once trained.

Job Summary:
The IT Director will oversee all IT (Information Technology) functions in our company. The IT Director will manage the company’s technology operations and the implementation of new IT systems and policies. An excellent IT Director is very knowledgeable in IT and computer systems and have a solid technical background while able to manage and motivate people. The ideal candidate will be experienced in creating and implementing IT policies and systems that will meet objectives. The goal is to ensure IT systems and people are effective and functioning within the limits of budget, time and specifications of the company.

SUMMARY: The Cost Accounting Manager will manage accounting activities for Loudpack cultivation, manufacturing and distribution operations. You will contribute business and financial expertise to the local leadership team to help drive profitability, including the identification of opportunities to reduce costs, increase efficiencies, and maximize output. As the Cost Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the local accounting activities including development and maintenance of Bill of Materials, variance analysis, weekly operating reporting, cash management, accounts payable, general accounting and cost accounting. This is a key finance and operations role that will play an integral part in supporting all aspects of accounting with hands on experience including standard cost rollup, manufacturing and PPV analysis, E&O analysis, and capitalization/amortization of variances.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage monthly and quarterly cost accounting close processes to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule
- Lead all cost accounting activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting, including quarterly standard cost change, physical inventory count and inventory roll forward
- Overall responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of the Company’s inventory including the adequacy of physical count procedures and inventory valuation systems
- Develop, implement, and maintain a cost accounting system, ledger, documentation, and records including the maintenance of standard costing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the standard costs and inventory valuations
- Analyze, investigate and report manufacturing variances including labor and overhead absorption reports, purchase price variance (PPV), scrap, excess and obsolete (E&O), inventory revaluation and overhead spending
- Review and approve purchase orders and internal material requests and document inventory and material purchases; monitor materials and productivity to determine the price and desired profit margins of the product
- Perform complex analysis, modeling, and other tool creation to enhance planning and reporting processes and provide leadership in decision-making processes through insightful analysis, fact-based recommendations and proactively identifying opportunities and risk
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of the weekly operation metric report including identifying and developing key performance indicators that align activities with operational goals and collaborate with senior management to explain results, make improvements, manage projects, identify inefficiencies, understand operations and lead the development of complex analysis
- Oversee a comprehensive set of cash control processes to mitigate financial risk and ensure accuracy of company records

Qualifications and Experience

Job Description Chemist - Cannabis Testing LaboratoryCERESLabs – Greenfield CA 93927 – Monterey County
CERESLabs is a state-of-the-art cannabis testing laboratory located at a prime intersection of the cannabis supply chain in the scenic Salinas Valley, Greenfield, CA.Our mission is to ensure safe and appropriate cannabis for all end users.
The Lab Analyst reports to the Laboratory Director. The position is comprised of hands-on laboratory work and clerical work in day-to-day operations. The Lab Analyst will be expected to work across a variety of tasks with attention to detail, organization, and professionalism.A strong preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in laboratory compliance and/or compliance management. Prefer experience with operating and maintaining various analytical instruments, like the UHPLC. Must be able to work safely with chemicals, hazardous materials, and flammable reagents. You should have knowledge of GLP, GDP, and have the ability to follow the SOP.

- Meet daily testing processing quotas
- Identify and resolve problems concerning equipment and materials
- Ensure that work environment is clean, safe and organized
- Instrument maintenance
- Maintain an even temperament, even in stressful situations
- Thorough documentation throughout testing process
- Take direction from Director
- Continuous desire for learning through research
Qualifications:
- Must have the experience of working in a regulated laboratory environment.
- Have theoretical knowledge of various analytical techniques and the ability to operate sophisticated laboratory equipment’s.
- Have experience with the operation of a HPLC or UHPLC.
- Be organized, detail orientated and comfortable multi-tasking
- Have strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Have excellent typing and computer skills
- Must have, at a minimum, either: o Bachelor’s degree in biological, chemical, agricultural, environmental, or related sciences from an accredited college or university;
OR o Completed 2 years of college or university education that included coursework in biological, chemical, agricultural, environmental, or related
sciences from an accredited college or university, plus at least 3 years of full-time practical experience.
