Sunderstorm is looking for Production Assistants to participate in our gummy production process from infusion to finish packaging. This position is demanding, repetitive, and requires standing for long periods of time, lifting 50 lbs, inventory entry, and working with high level production equipment and technology. It will also require a high attention to detail, extended periods of concentration, dynamic production variable monitoring, equipment maintenance, and packaging.
As part of our team, qualified individuals will have a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a desire to develop within this rapidly growing operation, and be a part of our company culture. Manufacturing and production experience is preferred but not required.
Supervisory Responsibilities
None.
Duties/Responsibilities
Sugar gummies: 1 hour to 1.5 hours per run
Demold gummies: 15 minutes to 20 minutes per run
Consolidate trays after gummies have set
Check the quality of gummies: color, consistency, full or partial sugar coating, size
Requirements
Great communication skills, positive attitude, trustworthy, dependable, accountable for own actions, motivating team members, able to delegate minor tasks, and able to receive constructive criticism.
Must be able to provide minor maintenance and adjustments to the BP deposit machine.
Must be able to time manage, multitask, organize, attention to details, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to stand for 8 hours, leaning over and lifting bins, must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Job Summary
We are looking for someone motivated, hard-working, and detail oriented to collect data on all QA/QC parameters for our products. The main responsibility of this position is to constantly evaluate products at each stage of our processes. It is critical to identify, study, and help resolve any deviations from our quality standards. This position will also collect, organize, and share data to inform the resolution of specific issues.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and collect QA/QC data on all aspects of production
Monitor the climate (temperature and humidity) in the cure room, walk-in, and on the processing floor and notify SSD leadership of any significant deviations
Help production determine next steps for products based on QC measurements
Help identify the cause of deviations from our quality standards
Assist in determining solutions to prevent continued issues.
Help train new QA/QC hires when/if applicable
Assist SSD or Production whenever and wherever necessary
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills
Basic computer knowledge, including Google Suite experience
Basic math skills

Calendarize all your demos on the team demo calendar, and report back to the sales rep in your territory how things are going.
Exercise strong communication with your Manager regarding how things are going, and what your needs are (ex. equipment, schwag, samples, etc.)

California residency with valid CA Driver license is required
Your own transportation is required
Must have strong time-management skills

Communicate to your team lead when your demos are scheduled, and what you are learning from each one RE customer feedback or promotional tactics.
Calendarize all your demos on the team demo calendar, and report back to the sales rep in your territory how things are going.
Exercise strong communication with your Manager regarding how things are going, and what your needs are (ex. equipment, schwag, samples, etc.)

Job Description
We are hiring a Compliance Officer to oversee regulatory compliance with all applicable state and local laws and regulations across manufacturing, distribution, and delivery operations. The Compliance Officer will keep the management team up to date on legal and regulatory matters impacting operations, assist in the development of company policies and standard operating procedures, monitor operations to identify and correct instances of non-compliance, and function as a quasi-independent and objective body that reviews and evaluates compliance issues/concerns within the organization.
The person who fulfills this role will also advise and guide the C-Suite executives, Owners, management personnel, and employees on applicable local, and state laws and regulations, and will be called upon to issue spot non-compliance, provide answers to complex questions, and help find lawful yet innovative solutions to tricky issues. and that company policies and procedures are being followed.
The Compliance Officer will also work with a variety of departments to develop and implement replicable processes, policies, and audits related to compliance and ensure their effectiveness. The Officer will ensure reporting, registration, filing, and other similar mandatory tasks are completed in a timely fashion and coordinate with Sunderstorm’s management to stay ahead of any future changes in regulations.

Job Description
We are looking for extremely detail oriented workers to assist our QA/QC department. You will be tasked with evaluating all products manufactured at GLG and verifying that they are ready for the next stage of processing. You will be responsible for the bulk of remediations as well as collecting and organizing data on specific issues affecting our final products.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with all QA/QC processing on the production floor
- Gather all necessary data for the QA/QC dashboard, validate and the submit reports to the QA/QC Lead or Manager
- Monitor the climate
- Ensure that all QA/QC Processes are being followed
- Help the R&D team collect data
- Collect data on current systems of operation
- Help train new hires - ensure that all PA’s are performing their QA tasks and are following SOP procedures.

Sunderstorm is looking for a passionate, highly motivated, and hard working individual with confectionery experience to help assist the Edibles R&D department. The R&D Assistant will be responsible for, but not limited to preparing, logging, monitoring and executing projects on dashboards related to the Edibles R&D department.
Responsibilities
- Organize and prepare raw ingredients, tools, candy molds etc
- Maintain and clean all equipment, tools etc
- Log all data onto dashboards. Update R&D results, notes, weights etc
- Research new ingredients, flavors, recipes etc
- Prepare all documents such as compounding sheets, daily checklist etc
- Help create SOPs for new products and improve current processes
- Strong proficiency using Microsoft products, project management tools, dashboards etc
- Work with managers to create work orders in the ERP system

The purpose of this position is to assist in the maintenance and development of our dashboards and databases, and assist with functional management of the ERP. The ERP & Data Specialist will also help with complex data curation, data entry, and data analysis.

Job Description
Sunderstorm is looking for an Order Fulfillment Technician to become a core member of our Order Fulfillment Department. This position is physically demanding, fast-paced, and requires sitting and standing for long periods of time. The Order Fulfillment Assistant will work directly under our Inventory Manager; they will primarily assist at a clerical and administrative level, but may sometimes also package finished goods into delivery boxes in specific quantities for our retail clients (i.e. dispensaries). These boxes, which make up specific orders, are then delivered directly to dispensaries by our distribution drivers.
The Order Fulfillment Assistant will take on regular data entry and computer tasks, that may include the generation of shipping manifests, managing or adjusting stock within the ERP system, emailing and printing test certifications for our products (for example). This position requires high attention to detail, strong communication skills, organizational skills, and a willingness to be positive and flexible, despite innate challenges in a start-up company.

Responsibilities
- Supervise the Inventory and Warehousing team to monitor inventory levels for all raw materials and packaging; with an emphasis on requirements for our gummy manufacturing operation.
- Make purchases of all raw materials, packaging, equipment, and supplies required by our 3 facilities - 1 manufacturing, and 2 distribution centers.
- Ensure inventory levels in ERP match reality through a thorough Cycle Count system and working closely with warehouse and inventory team to ensure this is being executed properly.
- Utilize ROP Calculator in Excel and our ERP system to manage inventory monitoring system that informs purchasing so that we never run out of stock of any necessary inputs.
- Manage Cycle Count schedule executed by Inventory and Warehouse team to ensure accuracy in the ERP system, which will ensure purchases are well informed.
- Develop processes in conjunction with COO and Finance Department to ensure audit protection for all purchases, on-site physical auditing of goods received vs goods purchased (actual received vs PO’s) to ensure proper supply chain management
- Ensure purchase process and record keeping feeds into voucher package system set up by the Accounting department. Accounting department heads will orient you to this process.
- Report any stocking issues to upper management immediately.
- Build and develop relationships with key manufacturers/suppliers.
- Assist in finding new vendors and negotiate with vendors on pricing and delivery
- Work closely with upper level managers to monitor for any changes in metrics for gauging required inventory levels and informing re-order points, and calculations there of.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Ability to solve problems without supervision.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Good verbal & written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Minimum 1-3 years of Purchasing Management experience
- Strong knowledge of Supply Chain Management
- Proven history of developing effective inventory management policies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including V-Lookups, Index-Match, and pivot tables.
- Ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses

This position is demanding, repetitive, and requires standing and walking for long periods of time, data entry, and working with high level production equipment and technology. Sunderstorm is looking for 1 Dishwasher to clean gummy production equipment, working surfaces, and maintain general facility cleanliness. Dishwashing duties will include cleaning the production machines, gummy molds, beakers, and cooking utensils. In terms of up keeping the facility, this would entail daily tasks such as: taking out garbage/recycling, disposing of gummy waste, cleaning the bathroom and break room, sweeping and mopping. This position is repetitive and includes standing for long periods of time and lifting 50+ lbs multiple times a day.

Summary:
Sunderstorm is looking for a Warehouse Inventory Assistant to become a core member of our Operations. This position is physically demanding, fast-paced, and requires sitting and standing for long periods of time. The Inventory Assistant will work directly under our Production Manager; they will primarily count, QC, and process bulk finished goods. Receive ordered supply.
Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Inventory Assistant will also take on regular data entry and computer tasks, that could include running bartender sticker printing programs, scanning, generating manifests, managing or adjusting stock within the ERP system, emailing and printing test certifications, and working in a google drive.
