Job Summary
This is a full time, fully benefited position.
Sets up the machine to start the production cycle. Oversees product flow for the machine and with help from team leader, controls and adjusts machine settings.
Responsibilities
- Operates and makes limited adjustments to equipment keeping constantly alert to operating functions ensuring that production needs are met.
- Perform daily setup of equipment.
- Track & input daily operations and packaging usage. Required to perform check of equipment performance & record daily.
- Required to cross train other employees and perform other tasks as assigned by management.
- Has detailed knowledge of work area and processes to be able to help monitor and assist in operations.
- Follows established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and safety policies while performing job duties.
- Perform general cleaning within the specific department assigned, including, but not limited to: wiping down, blowing down, sweeping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Other duties, responsibilities and/or tasks as assigned.

- Ability to read, write, and understand English. (Without an interpreter)

- Ability to operate a forklift.

Compensation:
$15.50 - $20.00 Per Hour

The Sales Director is responsible for coordinating and directing the sales efforts for Hazelnut Growers of Oregon and Oregon Orchard domestic value added and retail channels. The position is responsible for maximizing sales, leading the development of customer relationships, and executing the company marketing, branding and financial strategies. This position, in collaboration with the VP Sales and Marketing, is also responsible for the development and management of the broker sales team.
Responsibilities
- Supervising the broker network in coordination with the VP of Sales and Marketing.
- Interviewing, hiring, and training brokers as well as planning, assigning, and directing work, performance evaluation, addressing complaints and resolving issues as needed.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and finance to develop the annual sales plan.
- Accurately forecast sales and production needs.
- Lead assigned channels to attain sales and profit goals.
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers and develop new sales avenues.
- Own the growth of value-added channel
- Work with marketing to develop strategies for growing brand in all assigned channels.
- Collaborate to refine the HGO story and build effective tools for communicating competitive advantage
The New Team Member Will Excel With
- A strong knowledge of consumer goods sales and strong customer relationship skills.
- Established leadership of broker and distributor networks.
- Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
- Independent judgment, creativity, teamwork, customer service, presentation skills, problem analysis and decision-making skills.
Successful Candidates Will Have
- B.A. in Business or related field, and/or 10 – 15 years of progressively responsible experience in a sales management role with a consumer goods company.
- Experience working with multiple channels – large and small format retail, on premise food service, specialty, and gourmet foods.
