Title: RSA "retail service advisor" Shift Lead
Position: A Dispensary Shift Lead is the front-line supervisor responsible for the duties of all RSA's and acts as a liaison between customers and Redi's management. Shift Leaders ensure that all operational requirements are being met as they oversee RSA interactions and transactions with customers. Position Summary: The Production Lead oversees and also performs, as needed, all post-harvest functions including trimming, packaging, labeling, and recordkeeping. Budtender Position Summary:

Position Summary
The Shift Lead reports directly to the Assistant Store Manager and the Store Director. The Shift Lead acts as the Manager on Duty and supervises the retail team while accurately performing daily operations when the Store Director and Assistant Store Manager are absent. The Shift Lead is responsible for staying up to date on current MED laws and regulations and effectively relaying information to team members per management direction. This position is supervisory and requires a passionate and flexible team leader who can follow and train on management directives with ease.
Essential Functions
Customer Service:
- Trains staff members on company-wide customer service standards and reports any customer service issues to the management team
- Provides exemplary customer service and acts as an example to the retail associates
- Answers phone calls in a friendly and professional manner
- Answers emails in a friendly and professional manner
- Acts as the face of the company and creates long-lasting customer relationships
Driving Sales:
- Works in conjunction with the Assistant Store Manager and Store Director to train staff members on current promotions and specials
- Alerts management team to any inventory shortages
- Holds knowledge of all daily deals, specials, and promotions currently active in the store.
- Continuously strives to increase sales and takes an active role in becoming a better salesperson with direction from management
Daily Operations:
- Acts as the Manager on Duty when the Assistant Store Manager and the Store Director are absent from the store
- Practices accurate cash-handling procedures per company SOPs when: making change, counting drawers, and dropping deposits
- Accepts manifests in METRC
- Enters all incoming product into the Daily Sheets once accepted into METRC
- Accurately moves product from Back Stock to Sales Floor in the POS system when prompted by management
- Ensures daily opening and closing procedures are done to company standards by all staff members
Additional Functions:
- The Shift Lead may be required to cover shifts as needed
- The Shift Lead may be required to work on holidays
- The Shift Lead may be required to work on weekends
- The Shift Lead may be required to respond to after-hours emergencies when the Store Director or Assistant Store Manager is unavailable
Job Specifications
- Extensive knowledge of cannabis products, brands, and various cannabinoids and their subsequent effects

Position Summary
Shift Lead's are responsible for overseeing the sales floor and setting the tone for their shift. They maintain the highest level of customer service, while keeping coworkers on task with projects and general duties. - Ensuring accurate till counts
- Reconciling any discrepancies in Greenbits/Clover when doing cash drops. If they cannot be reconciled you need to accurately communicate the issues at hand via the “Closing Drop Love Notes”, as well as follow up with your Manager
- Keep sales floor stocked with product and sold in a first in first out order
- Activate/deactivate products when needed
- Keep an eye on expiration dates
- Be physically present on the floor as much as possible
- Training new employees
- Keep your eyes and ears open as to what is going on on the sales floor, with staff and customers
- Communicating any issues or positive feedback to your Manager
- Make sure lunches/dinners are being run in a timely and organized manner
- Ensure the shop is clean and sanitized
- Ensure displays are well organized
- Keeping tills stocked with change
- Making sure all projects are being executed efficiently and thoroughly
- If the Manager is not on duty, it is up to the Shift Lead to make sure that projects are being prioritized appropriately and completed efficiently
- Delegating projects and ensuring that they are indeed being completed
- Keeping the crew on task, even when projects are completed. Whether it be cleaning, or studying, there is always something to be done!
- Fill/shake out flower jars, properly put away shake

Job Description:
The responsibilities of the Budtender include greeting and welcoming customers, informing the manager of customer complaints and operational issues, and sharing firsthand experiences of cannabis products to address customer concerns. You should also be able to answer customers' questions regarding the different strains of cannabis, their medicinal uses, and methods of consumption.
To be successful as a Budtender, you should keep abreast of the latest developments in cannabis laws to maintain legal compliance. Duties:
Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis.
Keeping abreast of new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends through trade shows and research.
Processing customers' payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system.
Ensuring that the dispensary is clean and well-organized at all times.
Educating customers on the safe use of their selected cannabis products.
Correctly weighing, packaging, and labeling cannabis products as required.
Checking customers' identification documents to verify that they are of legal age.
Taking inventory of cannabis products and ensuring that the sales floor is adequately stocked.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years old
Must have excellent attendance and professionalism
Basic knowledge of cannabis preferred
No cannabis consumption permitted on the job
2+ years of face to face service industry experience required - retail, sales, restaurant, bar, winery, brewery, barista, hotel, hospitality, host, hostess, customer service.

Budtender Position Summary:

Volta Biotech is a marijuana/hemp processing and refinement company. We can extract 80 pounds every 20 minutes with ethanol - possibly the biggest capacity in the state. On the marijuana side we sell bulk THC distillate (voltabiotech.com). We're in a new building that is well maintained and well lit with security cameras for 24 hour monitoring.
Our capacity is 3 to 4 liters per hour. All of our sales are already committed to customers at current capacity and we're planning to add to our capacity in the next few months. We have some designs for retail products of our own but will take time to formulate the product itself - our focus is on bulk distillate. We do cryo ethanol extraction, decarboxylation, distillation, sonication, and spray drying processes. We also have an analytical HPLC to help with product formulation and verifying plant potency from farmers.
We need production minded personnel to handle the day-to-day production processes after some training. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable on their feet working in the lab doing laboratory tasks most of the day. Familiarity with pumps, hoses, and connections is preferred. Cannabis experience is preferred. Comfortable on forklift is preferred.
The ideal candidate is an individual already experienced with cannabis processing, wants to work with larger equipment, and is excited to join our small 10 person team. Candidate must already be living in the Oklahoma City metro area to be eligible for this job.

Job Description - Trim Team Lead
TRIMMING STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE and PROTOCOLS: Trimming marijuana is a very detail-oriented and repetitive job. It requires passion for the industry, a positive attitude, and the ability to follow direction very closely. You must be able to handle critique, have strong hand-eye coordination, and be able to improve your quality and speed as you learn. Attendance and flexibility are also extremely important within this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Managing the team, scheduling the team, reporting trim output as well as trimming. Trimming different strains of cannabis efficiently and in a timely manor with repetitive hand motions. You must be able to lift up to fifty pounds, and you must be willing to sit or stand for long periods of time. Aside from trimming the plant, you will also be in charge of separation of stems, water leaf, and sweet leaf, as well as the clean up before and after processing.
HEALTH AND SAFETY: Trimmers can be exposed to mold, sensitizers/allergens, Co2, pesticides, occupationalinjuries (cuts), chemical exposure and machinery. Please make sure you are wearing yourface mask, gloves, scrubs, hairnets/beard nets and foot covers at all times. There will be no food, smoking or exposed beverages allowed in the trim room.
Pay period is every other week and product samples are given out weekly to ALL employees.

SHIFT LEADER
Arizona Organix Shift Leads are the front line of both customer service and company policy for the organization’s clinic location. A Shift Lead is expected to successfully preform all the duties of an educator, while also functioning as a liaison between Patient Counselors and management. Those in this position will also be expected to function as a Manager on Duty when assigned. Beyond assisting and educating patients, Shift Leads will be expected to assist with cash drops, open and closing of the dispensary and inventory, as needed. Shift Leads are expected to adhere to HIPAA laws, be actively aware of their surroundings, and to work to complete the mission of Arizona Organix while adhering to all state regulations.
Shift Leader are tenured employees within our company who oversee retail sales and services in the absence of a retail manager. They can answer employee concerns, make decisions, and troubleshoot if problems arise in the place of the retail manager. They are trusted employees.
Shift Leaders perform the same tasks as hourly employees while having the authority to manage co-workers in the absence of the retail manager. Shift Leaders are responsible for resolving issues with employees and patrons while ensuring work is completed on schedule within a shift.
Responsibilities
- Assigning team members with tasks to be completed each shift
- Setting performance metrics for team members and work with team members to ensure all metrics are met
- Properly resolving problems and troubleshooting issues as they arise without the direction of management
- Managing multiple projects as well as staff members
- Reporting to the retail manager and meeting with management to review goals and metrics
- Maintaining a work environment that meets company, state and federal safety and employment guidelines
- Monitor and supervise the timely arrival of scheduled employees, be aware of unforeseen challenges like scheduling conflicts and see to it the business is adequately staffed
- Address customer concerns in reference to products or employee interactions
- Establish tasks for employees to ensure a clean workplace, this includes stocking supplies and maintaining clean restrooms and public spaces
- Actively seek to resolve any concerns while adhering to the company policy and standards of behavior
- Train new hires on the standards and procedures of the company, from how to handle a negative customer experience to how to properly serve customers
- Oversee and administer tests to see that all employees have a firm understanding of company policy, such as schedule changes and calling into work
- Recognize outstanding employees for exemplary work and call attention to workers that are professional and meet their goals
Qualifications
A successful Shift Leader will have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask. They must be team oriented as they will work across departments to manage a project from start to finish, making sure all departments’ needs and concerns are addressed.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred
- 2+ years of industry experience
- 2+ years of managerial or supervisory experience
