The Trimmer is responsible for assisting the Processing Supervisor and Leads with the all job activities associated to the production and post-production of the product. Responsibilities included but are not limited to:
- Day Shift 7:00 AM - 5:45 PM
- Trimming of product
- Operating automatic trim machine in accordance with SOPs
- Ensure that the product passes microbial testing and meets PotCo quality standards
- Equipment sterilization
- Cleaning in the Facility
- De-stemming product for trimmers
- Burping as directed
- Dry room monitoring, respacing product, and cleaning
- Compliance with all state and company policies
- Helping within cultivation
- Punctuality
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to understand direction and execute tasks
- Valid State Support badge
- Reliable transportation
- Basic math skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to operate standard office equipment
Physical and Environmental Requirements
- Ability to work 7 days per week including holidays, days, nights, and weekends
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds
- Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a workday
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to use a ladder (up to 12 ft. extension) and general hardware tools needed for common repairs
- Ability and willingness to work in the following conditions:
o Exposure to pollen, allergens, and chemical pesticides in the grow facility or greenhouse
o General office environment
o Extended computer usage
o Extended phone usage including teleconferences
o Work environments that include exposure to, but not limited to, chemicals, fumes, dust, odors, extreme heat temperatures, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, noise, protective gear, vibrations, and water
