Role and Responsibilities
- Arrive on-time and to each scheduled shift.
- Willingness to take instruction and follow through with correct implementation.
- Manages time well to keep production on schedule.
- Operate, maintain and clean equipment for: butane/propane extraction (ETS MEP30), wiped film distillation (VTA), filtration, and solvent recovery.
- Operate, maintain, and clean laboratory equipment such vacuum pumps, scales, glassware, evaporators, following current good practices, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Update inventory of supplies, raw materials, finished products, by-products, and equipment by completing digital records.
- Supports the facility in following and complying with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Record all data and results in software systems with accuracy and responsibility.
- Maintains confidentiality of products, processes, projects, and clients.
- Safe handling and disposal of chemicals, compressed gas, and hazardous wastes.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong Team-Player
- Experience in fast-pace work environment preferred.
- Entry-Level. Experience in cannabis extraction or similar industry such as manufacturing, hemp processing, or production preferred.
- A current valid driver's license and your own reliable vehicle to commute to and from work.
- Must be at least 21 years old (required by state of Nevada).
- Ability to pass a Live Scan background check and obtain a CCB Production Agent Card.
- Ability to multi-task, excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and re-evaluate priorities as situations change. Working knowledge of computer software (MS Office, Excel, etc) experience preferred.
Physical Demands
- Must regularly operate machinery, industrial/laboratory equipment, a computer and occasionally operate other office productivity machinery.
- The individual must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds, and sit, stand, kneel and bend throughout the workday.
