Position Summary:
Assistant Managers are responsible for the daily business operations of the retail shop based on the direction of the Store Manager. They are shift leaders that uphold policies and procedures with retail staff and customers. Effectively leads the shift by running efficient shift meetings, delegating and overseeing side work and downtime projects, problem solving any issues, and communicating any areas that are incomplete to the incoming team.
Motivates & inspires positive communication among team members so they can work together to achieve shift objectives.
Effectively verifies employee schedules, manages schedule deviations, and participates in the training and development of new and existing Cannabis Sales Associates.
Ensures new hires understand their roles and duties, administers regular performance reviews, and conducts staff training to maintain exemplary standards of customer service and professional conduct amongst the team members.
Based on Inventory team’s direction, delegate downtime projects and ensure quality of output by retraining if necessary.
Assist Inventory department, when necessary, which may include but is not limited to, restocking, checking in deliveries, printing labels, and delegating downtime. As well as analyzing and communicating floor needs.
Other duties as assigned.

The Inventory Manager is responsible for managing a staff that realizes the cultivation department’s finished goods. The Inventory Manager manages the process and the staff from dry cure to sellable finished goods within the Cultivation department. This includes, but is not limited to, overseeing a professional team that is passionate about quality standards. The Inventory Manager helps facilitate daily checklists and execution of tasks, staff communication, production schedules, supplies list, production analytics, count audits, METRC accuracies, product categorization, etc. Also, the Inventory Manager ensures accurate record keeping, executes operational and planned objectives to maximize product worth, and maintains standards for optimal facility organization and cleanliness, while upholding all regulation and compliance standards in the State of Alaska.
Develop and implement operational rules, regulations, policies and procedures with an emphasis of Inventory Control and quality standards. Maintain written, up-to-date SOPs for the post-harvest department. Manage a team of processing members to facilitate department post-processing. Plan ahead for upcoming processing, organize individual production qualities and records, manages chain of custody of dried product to finished goods. Train and coach all associates on trimming, pre rolling, & prepacking. Manage processing to provide product mix of Bulk Flower, Immature buds, Pre-rolls, and extraction bio-mass to ensure most profitable results. Identify inventory surpluses, organize product availability, analyze distribution needs and design production to fulfill those needs, and communicate wholesale products to sales team. Reconciliations of Inventories, includes software comparisons & physical counts, with emphasis towards compliance and implementation of procedures to streamline the Inventory Control process. This includes conversions or work in progress inventory to finished goods. Assist in making distribution & pricing decisions and verify accuracies. Execute production analytics, analyze outputs and cost factors, and set goals for staff to maintain and improve margins set by executives. This includes, but not limited to, Trimmer costs, Pre-roll costs, Cultivation yield results, strain specifications, competitor analysis, etc. Oversee collaboration spreadsheets (Flower on Hand, Harvest Numbers, etc.) to ensure proper, real time communications and oversee department compliance, filing, and record keeping; includes verification of Trimmer production numbers & third party Invoicing. The Budtender Position
The entry level position at Enlighten is a dual-role position including sales and production projects. Entry level employees rotate between these two roles as needed.
Budtenders make up our front of house retail sales team. While fulfilling this role, budtenders help customers in our retail store and help them select a suitable cannabis product to fit their needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicate with the Shift Leads on duty what the daily deals and sales goals are

This includes, but is not limited to; ensuring Sales Associates are staying productive, monitoring stock on the sales floor and restocking as needed, handling customer concerns, employee observations, P.O.S questions/issues such as re-stickering, and general housekeeping of the sales floor.

Position Description
The production technician will work on the schedule of the facility; learning how to use equipment and technology to take raw plant materials and turn them into sellable and consumable products.
Existing knowledge of cannabis products and how they are consumed/created is preferred, but not required to succeed. Additional knowledge bases of value can include such things as market information related to our local vendors, competing brands, cannabis culture trends, and the regulatory information around Alaska's cannabis laws.
You will be expected to refer to work orders on any given shift for such tasks as:
o Sort, grind, sift, and organize raw plant materials for production prep
o Set-up, break-down, and deep clean of workspaces and production equipment
o Assembly of pre-rolls, via use of Futurola equipment, and by hand.
o Assembly of infused pre-rolls, by hand.
o Weighing and Packaging of bulk flower for wholesale.
o Creation of capsules, dabs, and vape cartridges per instruction of Lab Assistant and Inventory Compliance Specialist
o Labelling and packaging flower and manufactured goods for sale, and organizing them into the designated storage system for ready-to-sell backstock.
o Manage waste protocols, procedures, and logs for any material not deemed usable, under the direction of the Pre-Roll Production Specialist, Inventory Compliance Specialist, and Garden Manager.
o Defoliating plants
o Trimming dried plant materials
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in production lines, print shops, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, or logistics is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of Alaska's cannabis products, brands, cultivation/extraction methods, safe consumption practices, and a general familiarity with cannabis culture.

Assistant Managers are responsible for ensuring that tasks assigned to the shop are completed on your shift, are appropriately communicated and passed along to the next shift managers. The Assistant Manager is the direct point of contact for the Cannabis Sales Associates regarding anything pertaining to daily sales floor and retail operations. This includes, but is not limited to; ensuring Sales Associates are staying productive, monitoring stock on the sales floor and restocking as needed, handling customer concerns, employee observations, P.O.S questions/issues such as re-stickering, and general housekeeping of the sales floor.

Ensure that downtime tasks, special projects and tasks are moving forward as directed by management and inventory

Communicate weak points in the shop and create a dialogue to get them resolved

Observe, record, and work with Management to create corrective action plans for CSAs and Reception
Assist Inventory department when necessary, which may include but is not limited to, checking in deliveries and checking over purchase orders, printing labels, and delegating downtime. As well as analyzing and communicating floor needs.
Intake Product deliveries in accordance with METRC and accounting protocols. Includes cash payments, vendor relations, paperwork tracking, product verification, etc.
Close out Supply deliveries by putting away goods and communicating with the ordering party to ensure proper supply ordering logistics.

The Sales & Relationships Manager (SRM) is responsible for the sale and distribution of Raspberry Root’s Manufactured and Cultivated product(s) throughout the state of Alaska. The job entails both internal communications with production teams to organize Inventory needs, Order Fulfillment, and Quality Control and weekly external communications that is consistent with Account Management. SRM implies sourcing new, and working with current, customers to maximize profit potential. The SRM facilitates compliant and accurate license transfers. Lastly, the SRM thrives to maintain an exceptional brand image and helps strategize operational to further push brand sales. The SRM works with the Manufacturing and Production Coordinators to organize efforts and allocate resources effectively.
Understands METRC Inventory Control system and internal Accounting practices to promote, sell, fulfill, and deliver product to customers all over the State of Alaska.
Manage logistics pertaining to external product distributions. Includes, but not limited to, Customer Relationship Management software, accurate cash counting and recording, compliance and accounting documents, Accounts Receivable, mileage tracking, record & receipt filing, etc.
Works closely with the Inventory & Production Manager, Manufacturing Coordinator, and Production Coordinator to communicate customer feedbacks, maintain and improve product quality, and create efficiencies surrounding distribution logistics.
Manage Wholesale customers by developing relationships, communicating product availability weekly, and offering assistance in consumer experience surrounding our brand(s) such as unique displays, Budtender Training courses, and hosting Promotional Events at their establishments.
Help strategize, propose, and implement marketing tactics to promote our products and increase consumer interactions surrounding our brand(s).
Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers, consumers, and venders to generate business or cost savings for the company.
Work with Extraction personnel to source cannabis raw materials for extraction.
Analyze product sales and communicate effectively with Retail Managers and Production Coordinators to satisfy customer product demand and needs.

This is an entry level position.

POSITION SUMMARY The Trimmer is responsible for quality control and trimming of our cannabis. Specifically, the Trimmer will ensure we trim, sort, and package our product properly, and identify and report any issues with the product to the acting Supervisor.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Trim by hand Product with precision and consistency
- Assist with Harvest duties
- Able to trim 1lb. or more of product everyday
- Run trim machines, harvesting machines, and sorting tables quickly and efficiently
- Work Knockbox proficiently
- Finish Knockbox pre-rolls by hand with precision and consistency
- Weigh and label product correctly
- Assist the whole team with Harvest
- Keep a clean organized workspace and tools
- Adapt to different strains, styles, and types of cannabis
QUALIFICATIONS

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Welcome visitors and customers by warmly greeting them, in person or on the telephone, and apply relationship/rapport building principles and best practices to advance a positive experience and on-going relationship with customers.
Provide customers cannabis information and educational resources regarding strains, methods of administration, potential effects, and precautions related to their consumption of cannabis products.
Operate a cash register. Itemize and total purchases by recording prices, departments, discounts/specials, and regulation limits.
Accurately process payments from customers; issue receipts, refunds, credits, and provide customers cash change when necessary.
Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and professional working environment.
Balance cash drawer and inventories by auditing at beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate organization for other team members.
Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers to generate business for retail store.

Cultivation Technician
The Cultivation Technician is responsible for the execution of daily operations of the Cultivation. The Cultivation Technicians promotes and ensures exceptional handling of the plants, equipment, nutrients, and other additives and is the main communicator for any issues that arise in the cultivation. The Cultivation Technician is an exceptional listener and very attentive to detail to each plants individual needs. The Cultivation Technicians work closely with the Lead Cultivator and Cultivation Coordinator to organize efforts and allocate resources effectively to maintain standards for optimal facility maintenance and cleanliness.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Executes all tasks associated with the daily operations of the Cultivation facility.
Executes the Daily Checklists of Task. Including but not limited to, watering, nutrients, environmental control, health of plants, etc.
Develops a thorough understanding of each individual plants’ needs in regards to nutrients and watering.
Understands and Communicates and issues or concerns that arise with the plants or the facility with their Supervisors.
Maintains a high standard of cleanliness and all equipment and work areas. This includes organization of tools, supplies, and equipment.
Assist in monitoring facility compliance and maintaining a safe and professional working environment.
Appropriately manage plant, nutrient, environment, and compliance records and all materials containing cultivation information.
Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers and venders to generate business or cost savings for the company.
Record and track important information with precision and accuracy.
Comes to work everyday on time with a good attitude and eagerness to help in any way.
JOB DETAILS
- Raspberry Root’s cultivation Technician requires manual labor. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long hours at a time.
- This job is fast pace and high energy. There is a lot of tedious, repetitive work that requires focus and extreme attention to detail.

Cultivation Technician
The Cultivation Technician is responsible for the execution of daily operations of the Cultivation. The Cultivation Technicians promotes and ensures exceptional handling of the plants, equipment, nutrients, and other additives and is the main communicator for any issues that arise in the cultivation. The Cultivation Technician is an exceptional listener and very attentive to detail to each plants individual needs. The Cultivation Technicians work closely with the Lead Cultivator and Cultivation Coordinator to organize efforts and allocate resources effectively to maintain standards for optimal facility maintenance and cleanliness.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Executes all tasks associated with the daily operations of the Cultivation facility.
Executes the Daily Checklists of Task. Including but not limited to, watering, nutrients, environmental control, health of plants, etc.
Develops a thorough understanding of each individual plants’ needs in regards to nutrients and watering.
Understands and Communicates and issues or concerns that arise with the plants or the facility with their Supervisors.
Maintains a high standard of cleanliness and all equipment and work areas. This includes organization of tools, supplies, and equipment.
Assist in monitoring facility compliance and maintaining a safe and professional working environment.
Appropriately manage plant, nutrient, environment, and compliance records and all materials containing cultivation information.
Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers and venders to generate business or cost savings for the company.
Record and track important information with precision and accuracy.
Comes to work everyday on time with a good attitude and eagerness to help in any way.
JOB DETAILS
- Raspberry Root’s cultivation Technician requires manual labor. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long hours at a time.
- This job is fast pace and high energy. There is a lot of tedious, repetitive work that requires focus and extreme attention to detail.
- There are a wide variety of Growth opportunities at Raspberry Roots. We are looking for someone who is passionate about cannabis and looking to take the time and training necessary to advance within the Department.
- There is no parking on site. Employees utilize an in-house shuttle from an offsite parking location.
- There is a No Smoking Policy. From the time one shows up to work through the time they leave, one may not smoke cigarettes.

The Inventory Associate is tasked with assisting the Inventory team in everything Inventory. As a Receptionist at Raspberry Roots, you are the first and last impression customers and visitors have of us. You set the tone for their entire experience while in our Retail. It is Reception’s responsibility to oversee and maintain updated and accurate online and in-house menus. Receptionists also direct traffic flow of customers to Cannabis Sales Associates (CSAs) by watching the floor and being aware of active transactions, as well as monitoring register rotation. There are many things that Receptionists do to ensure the success of any given business day but below should be a general outline of tasks that a Receptionist should be responsible for on any given shift.
On top of the task/projects assigned to the Receptionist, their daily responsibilities should be as follows:
- Checking customer and vendor I.D.
- Checking customers into our POS system under the correct account
- Maintaining register rotation evenly
- Directing customer traffic
- Adding and removing products from our online and in-house menus accurately
- Follow correct formatting with adding and removing items from our menus
- Checking in vendors into our Visitor’s Log and informing the manager on duty of their arrival
- Performing daily menu audits to ensure accuracy
- Greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Screen phone calls as to not take up the manager on duty’s time
- Maintaining cross shift communications for seamless transitions; Shift logs, SLACK, company emails, etc.
- Check added and removed items from the previous shift to check for accuracy
- Contribute to completing a weekly checklist of cleaning and auditing
- Adding points to customer accounts for various in-store promotions
BEFORE DOORS OPEN:
- Update TV slides with our current deal of the day
- Turn on Lobby and Atrium TVs
- Complete the AM or PM audit, depending on the shift
- Print out menus for the pickup window to use and cheat sheets for Budtending Stations
CLOSING:
- Tidy up the lobby; make sure papers are straight, no dirt on the floor, lights off
- Properly save physical menus with the correct date
- Collect all physical menus so they may be replaced in the morning
