The Account Manager will be contacting and visiting local retailers and distributors. The Account Manager will issue promotional materials and/ or full product samples to the store owners/ managers and intake orders. Those orders will be facilitated and shipped from our Headquarters. So far every shop our reps have met with on the phone or in person, placed an order on the spot.
The Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining relationships and checking on their inventory to make sure your retailers do not sell out without any cans in route to them. The last thing we want is for customers to look for them at the store, and they are out of stock. These are going very fast in stores and some of your accounts may repurchase multiple times per month.
These retail for $10 each. Your average energy drink or beer is selling for about $3 -$5 and Premium Craft IPA's go for up to $10+. Both do not provide a fraction of these effects.
Compensation:
This is a 1099 position and commissions are paid out immediately as transactions have processed. Your clients will typically start with the minimum purchase of 4 cases of 24 (96 cans). Account Manager will be paid $56 for a minimum order. This comes out to $14 per Case (24) and $0.59 per Can. A single low traffic store will sell between 10-20 cans per day, while a high volume store may sell 40-60 per day. Many store owners have multiple stores averaging 5-10 locations. As a SAM, you will focus on obtaining new partner accounts and expanding relationships with existing partners using the Sales Playbook and resources. Qualifications

Our company has an immediate need for a Territory Manager, responsible for selling products and services through the achievement of opportunity-based quotas in St. Louis, Missouri and surrounding areas. The candidate must have general horticulture knowledge of the greenhouse setting and in-depth knowledge of standard and premium greenhouse equipment. The candidate should be current on cultural information of horticultural products and field crops. Experience in the garden center setting with large wholesalers such as plug/liner growers and resellers is needed. IPM and pesticide management experience and knowing where to find accurate, current information is also needed.
This individual will develop their own rhythm of prospecting, through networking and phone-based activities through the creation of sales leads, initiating outbound calls, and establishing ongoing rapport with existing and prospective customers. Job Summary:
The Account Manager position is responsible for actively calling on current and new customers and will have their own exclusive territory. Training and leads will be provided. The position involves visiting CA state licensed retailers introducing them to My Best Bud and the benefits we can offer the retailer, their customers and their pets. The Account Manager should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant sales experience and have a thorough understanding of the cannabis industry and community. The ideal Account Manager candidate will be comfortable in a fluid, dynamic startup environment, passionate about animals, the cannabis industry and will bring an energetic, fun and creative approach to their work.
Responsibilities:
- Set up meetings with retailer purchasing managers via cold-calling, email, and social media outreach
- Visit retailers daily to understand customer needs and desires, and make sales presentations
- Follow-up with prospective accounts via phone, e-mail, and SMS to stay top of mind and close new business
- Facilitate on-site patient appreciation days, budtender education events and other events on a regular basis
- Respond to phone and email inquiries in a timely, efficient, and professional manner
- Work with the marketing team to develop new sales material and refine company messaging
- Relay feedback from customers.
- Spend majority of time in the field visiting retailers
- Maintain customer relationship database (CRM) and ensure that all information is up-to-date and accurate
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant field sales experience in the cannabis industry preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree a plus
- Personal list of cannabis industry contacts a plus
- Proven track record of developing and executing a sales plan, building new business, and meeting/exceeding sales quotas preferred
- Ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient technical skills including use of MS Office, Google Drive, and CRM software
- Must have a valid California driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, insurance, and a clean driving record

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking an experienced individual with a minimum of 2 years cannabis sales experience and 1 year cannabis sales manager experience to assist us to increase sales and address customer needs within the state of CA. Territory Sales Manager responsibilities include overseeing our delivery couriers, placing our products on the shelves of cannabis dispensaries through the state, negotiating procurement from cannabis farms and manufacturers and identifying specific consumer characteristics and recommending ways to promote and sell our products.
