Green Roads is actively searching for Strategic Sales Account Managers. The Strategic Sales Account Manager will play a fundamental role in our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The person in this role must be comfortable making outbound B2B calls and in person account meetings, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and ultimately closing the account. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Utilize SalesForce, cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities and manage current strategic accounts
- Identify prospect's needs, suggest appropriate products and close relationships
- Build trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
- Be the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward. Assume responsibility for current strategic accounts.
- Establish active communication and engagement with prospects/accounts
- Collaborate with sales team to support the team concept to win
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2-3 years of sales experience, with a history of exceeding targets
- Experience handling and growing strategic accounts
- Strong communication skills via phone, email and in person account management
- Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
- Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
- Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a productive team member, making outbound calls and in person calls every day
- Have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn and make new connections with prospects
