Cannabis Sales Account Manager (SAM) – Front Range (Front Range/Denver and South)
Headquartered in Denver, Bronnor Corporation produces and distributes a dynamic portfolio of cannabis-infused edibles and inhalables for the Colorado market. We are looking for a highly motivated cannabis Sales Account Manager (SAM) to aggressively grow the Bronnor portfolio of brands in the assigned territory.
What will you do?
As a Sales Account Manager, you will be the primary contact for our retail clients in the assigned territory and play a key role in the feedback loop to our operations and distribution teams. The successful candidate excels at delivering value in a demanding environment where adaptability is imperative.
Sales Account Managers are successful at planning and executing a sales strategy, building strong long-lasting partnerships, maintaining acceptable AR levels, and driving growth within their assigned territory. As a SAM, you will focus on obtaining new partner accounts and expanding relationships with existing partners using the Sales Playbook and other resources. Bronnor Sales Account Managers oversee all aspects of the sales cycle, including pricing negotiations, marketing/merchandising initiatives, AR collections, in-store promotions, event scheduling, budtender/consumer education, and order fulfillment. People who can articulate value, influence change, and communicate effectively will excel in this role.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Drive Sales and Increase Market Share
- Create and execute quarterly market plans
- 50% of your time will be managing your current account base
- Analyze sales trends/store inventory and advise retailer purchasing teams regarding order size and frequency to prevent stockouts
- Creatively influence purchasing teams and store advocates to on-board additional and new SKU’s
- Strategically assess stores’ promotional needs and implement promotions based on the best ROI
- Schedule events and customer appreciation demos to educate end-consumers and budtenders
- Schedule budtender education events to capture advocates and influence retailer staff
- Review dispensary marketing assets online to ensure that the newest and highest quality product images are displayed
- Influence in-store merchandising and marketing opportunities to position Bronnor as a premier partner
- 50% of your time will be spent hunting for new business and closing new accounts
- Prioritize sales pipeline to meet saturation targets
- Utilize creative problem solving to overcome objections
- Understand licenses within your territory to be on the shelf before new stores open for business
- Power mapping the prospect to assure all decision makers and stakeholders are involved
- Negotiate pricing and terms
- Communicating with assigned accounts regarding invoices coming due, invoices past due, setting collection dates, and consulting with the Vice President of Business Development on any collection actions
- Create detailed notes regarding overdue AR and credits on a weekly cadence
- Ensure Credit Memos are processed in a timely manner
- Weekly and daily administrative tasks
- Responsible for everything directly and indirectly related to sales
- Create weekly route plans based on scheduled meetings/prospecting/sample drops/etc.
- Utilize a market plan template to plan sales growth initiatives on a quarterly basis and maintain an accurate pipeline
- Confirm orders and deliveries 48 hours in advance
- Respond to internal and external emails with a sense of urgency
- Check on competitive activity and provide intelligence reports
- Stay informed of competitor products and services
- Work with Operations and Distribution daily to ensure proper planning and execution of new account activations
- Provide internal feedback about marketing assets, competitors, and innovation to the Bronnor management team
- This position requires up to 80% travel within the defined territory

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, etc., preferred
- 1-3 years of sales and account management experience, prior sales experience in state cannabis or alcohol industry preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Possess strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks/responsibilities, demonstrate outstanding time management and organizational skills, and project a positive, goal-oriented attitude
- Analytical person and problem solver who thrives under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to audience needs
- Must possess Colorado MED Employee Cannabis License
- Willing to submit to a background check, including a motor vehicle report
- Must possess a Colorado driver’s license, a reliable vehicle (licensed in Colorado), and valid auto insurance
- State regulations require all applicants must be at least 21 years of age
- Possess basic knowledge of arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

Production/Packaging Technician positions available at growing cannabis manufacturing facility (MIP) conveniently located near I-70 and Colorado Blvd in Denver, Colorado. Positions available immediately, must be in-state resident, must have a MED issued occupational badge. You will be working in a clean, well-organized, and friendly environment. This is a fun and rewarding work environment with compensation and benefits above the industry average. Health, Dental and Vision insurance benefits and PTO/Vacation available upon completion of 90-day probation period. Hours are typically day shift (7:00am - 3:00pm) with some flexibility. You will be working with a small and well engaged team, in which everyone is responsible and accountable for their specific roles and responsibilities while collaborating as a highly productive unit. Daily duties and functions will be varied depending on production needs. You will be cross trained on multiple stations and specific duties.
