The Warehouse/Shipping Associate position verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards. Reporting to the Manager Shipping & Logistics the Warehouse/Shipping Associate will be responsible for:
- Unpacking, examining and routing incoming shipments, rejecting damaged items, recording shortages, and corresponding with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
- Maintaining inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Performing all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods.
- Supporting the shipment of goods produced and the received goods and supplies to be used in or to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for sale to our customer base.
- Responsible for planning for pick up by the carrier specified on the customer's purchase order, which is conveyed to the shipping clerk by final inspection via the shipping instructions.
- Reporting defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand always.
- Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
Requirements

The Green Roads B2B Operations Coordinator ’s primary role is to support the Sales Department in all matters related to B2B RMA’s (Return Merchandise Authorization’s) and Shipping inquiries such as tracking, address changes/updates, filing B2B Claims, liaising between Shipping, Accounting and Customer Service Teams as they relate to the RMA process, etc. The ideal candidate will be self-starter, flexible and capable of adapting to a changing work environment.

- Acquire and maintain a thorough knowledge of all products and services related to RMA.
- Process, categorize, and answer emails and telephone calls, providing customer service excellence.

Sales Development Specialist
Green Roads is actively searching for a Sales Development Specialist. The Sales Development Specialist will play a fundamental role in our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The person in this role must be comfortable making outbound B2B calls, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and routing opportunities to the appropriate Senior Sales Advisor for further development and closure. As the first line of communication with prospects, this role will have a strong understanding of the sales process; will excel at researching leads; will thrive off of starting new relationships; and will set our sales closers up for success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Utilize SalesForce, cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities as well as reactivate old (dead) accounts.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities
- Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products
- Build trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
- Be the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward
- Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales openings
- Collaborate with sales teams by coming up with innovative lead generation ideas
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2-3 years of sales experience, with a history of exceeding lead targets
- Strong communication skills via phone and email
- Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
- Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
- Proficiency with SalesForce or other CRM software
- Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a productive team member, making outbound calls every day

Operations Coordinator
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Green Roads B2B Operations Coordinator ’s primary role is to support the Sales Department in all matters related to B2B RMA’s (Return Merchandise Authorization’s) and Shipping inquiries such as tracking, address changes/updates, filing B2B Claims, liaising between Shipping, Accounting and Customer Service Teams as they relate to the RMA process, etc. The ideal candidate will be self-starter, flexible and capable of adapting to a changing work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Creates Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) request forms ensuring integrity and accuracy.
- Receive, review, process, control, and track RMA documents.
- Facilitate thorough, rapid resolution of all inquiries/problems and keeps all involved parties informed of progress.
- Acquire and maintain a thorough knowledge of all products and services related to RMA.
- Process, categorize, and answer emails and telephone calls, providing customer service excellence.
- Communicate status and schedule of returned merchandise to appropriate Sales Advisor.
- Research and manage all open, outstanding, un-returned RMA’s (notify manager when appropriate and help to determine next steps).
- Support process improvement and work with appropriate departments to help pinpoint trends and track resolutions.
- Create, update, and maintain reports as needed.
- Investigate and dispute FedEx Claims that are submitted and denied.
- Maintain a balance between company ethics and customer benefit in decision making. Handles issues in the best interest of both the customer and the company.
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned. When there is downtime the person in this role will assist the Shipping Department as is relates to B2B.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in business or related field; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 1-3 years’ experience in a Customer Service type role.
- Ability to gather, organize, and analyze information regarding payments, returns, credits, and discrepancies.
- Physically able to lift to 30lbs or more and sit/stand for extended periods of time.
- Detail oriented in completing routine and repetitive work.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Able to keep calm and composed under pressure.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Must have professional and courteous presence in phone, email, and ticket support.
- Must be able to handle high stress and busy environment.
- Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards.
- Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

The Customer Service Representative is the front line of Green Roads. This position provides the highest level of customer care to all internal and external customers. They act as a point of contact for all customers while effectively and efficiently performing all data processing and administrative functions. Reporting to the Manager, Customer Service the Customer Service Representative will be responsible for:
Meeting the needs of internal and external customers with efficiency, team spirit and courtesy
Partnering with operations and sales in the tracking of orders placed and any special product or order requests by communicating with all parties involved using face-to-face, telephone or e-mail communications.
Demonstrating initiative in superior customer care through research and responsiveness when requested information is not readily available
Demonstrating a thorough understanding and effective performance of customer service policies and procedures
Processing a high volume of customer orders and change notices in an accurate and timely manner
Performing administrative duties such as data entry, word processing, filing, copying and other general office organization and housekeeping duties
Answering all incoming phone calls and routes the call accordingly
All other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree a plus
3-5+ years’ experience with heavy data entry in customer service maintaining dedicated clients
Intermediate level of proficiency with Office-related computer applications: Word, Excel, Outlook
Experience with ERP or CRM
Experience with help desk software (ZenDesk or other similar applications)
Organized and time management skills
High attention to quality of work
High workload volume experience
