This is a full time position, scheduled Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Generally, you can count on 40 hours reliably, with overtime as needed to meet the demands of the business. This position requires the ability to often work on some holidays that fall on those days of the week. .

Veterans Fire Corps Program Overview: The Southwest Conservation Corps (SCC), with the partnership of the US Forest Service (USFS), and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) invites you to join the Veterans Conservation Corps for an on the job training experience in forestry, conservation, and fuels management. Our program seeks physically capable military Veterans between the ages of 21 - 35 who are willing to operate out of Salida, Colorado, for the duration of the term of service. The program is designed to provide recent era Veterans with the technical skill and physical ability for service in wildland firefighting and natural resource management careers.
All programs are AmeriCorps National Service on-the-job training programs and feature three primary components:
Conservation Training – Intensive training in conservation work skills, wilderness ethics as well as backcountry living skills. Each day will involve up to 10-12 hours of classroom and/or field time.
Project Work – On the job experience working as a trails crew member on public lands on varied locations across Colorado. Crews typically work 10-hour days. The May start program will primarily work 4 days followed by 3 days off and the July start will be working 8 days, followed by 6 days off. During fire season, schedules are subject to change in order to accommodate USFS/BLM priorities.

The program is designed to provide recent era Veterans with the technical skill and physical ability for service in wildland firefighting and natural resource management careers.
All programs are AmeriCorps National Service on-the-job training programs and feature three primary components:
Conservation Training – Intensive training in conservation work skills, wilderness ethics as well as backcountry living skills. Each day will involve up to 10-12 hours of classroom and/or field time.
Project Work – On the job experience working as a trails crew member on public lands on varied locations across Colorado. Crews typically work 10-hour days, 8 days at a time, with time allocated to physical training and other activities. During the project work phase, members have 6 days off for every 8 days worked. During fire season, schedules are subject to change in order to accommodate USFS/BLM priorities.

- Wilderness First Aid/CPR

Requirements:
- Military Service – All applicants must have a valid DD214, NGB22, or equivalent document; or currently be serving in the National Guard or Reserve.
- Physical Fitness – Applicants must be able to run and hike for project work and physical training. Members must also be able to walk up to 8 miles per day with a 45 – 65lb backpack during the orientation phase of the program.
- Commitment – All applicants must partake in all activities during the program. Members must make a strong commitment to complete all aspects of the program including conservation projects, education, training and national forest service events. Members must commit to participating in all crew activities for the duration of the session with little time off. Project work will vary and is often unpredictable.
- Risk Management -You will be expected to take a serious attitude toward individual and group safety all day and every day. You will be working around dangerous equipment and environments.
- Substance Free – All applicants are prohibited from utilizing any controlled substance including alcohol or cannabis while at work, at camp, or in sponsored housing.
- Professionalism – Members must be willing to appropriately represent the SCC Program and AmeriCorps. Members must dress appropriately in uniform at all times, utilize appropriate language, and conduct themselves to the highest professional standard at all times.
- Expedition Behavior - Work effectively as a member of a team despite potentially stressful and difficult conditions. This may require problem solving on an interpersonal or group level as well as a willingness to accept differences.

Job Summary:
At Sunsoil, our harvest crew members will assist in the process of harvesting hemp in one or both locations: Hardwick and Hyde Park. The crew will be given oversight by Sunsoil management and lead employees. This employment offer is non-exempt, seasonal and full or part time dependent upon the needs of the business as well as applicant’s availability. Harvest will start September and end sometime in October. It is a 7 day per week operation until completion. We pay an hourly rate of $20.00 per hour.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collect and carry cut plants to loading trailer
- Hang hemp plants in drying barn
- Removal of dried leaves and buds from stalk
- Package dried hemp into bags
- Daily cleaning - sweeping drying barn floor and removing and consolidating dried hemp branches
- Field maintenance – removing drip lines, remove remaining plants that were left behind at harvest, general field cleanup
- Other duties as assigned

SUMMARY
One Plant is looking to hire a full-time employee that will work to efficiently trim cannabis plants, while creating minimal waste, resulting in a high-quality product that is complaint and ready for sale or processing.
The right candidate will demonstrate proficiency, organization and extreme attention to detail; is resourceful and able to work independently and within a team environment. Cannabis bud trimmers must be precise and dexterous in their trimming so as not to waste any of the marijuana plant, and they must maintain a clean and organized work environment to avoid contaminating their product. They also must be able to accurately weigh the trimmed buds, as well as identify various marijuana strains, so as not to cheat their employer or customers. Additionally, due to the tedious nature of the job, cannabis bud trimmers must be able to sit and focus for long periods of time.
DETAILS
· Identify and separate fan leaves, stems, and sugar leaves
· Breakdown flowers from the stalk and separate waste
· Adapt to various strains, styles, and types of marijuana
· Efficiently de-fan plants prior to trimming flowers
· Record weights and keep accurate documentation
· Maintain sanitary and/or regulatory requirements
· Maintain a steady pace and/or quota based on weight
· Ensure the quality of buds in preparation for retail sale

These are full time positions, with a set schedule and affordable benefits offered within 90 days: medical, dental, vision, life and accident.
Full time schedule consists of 40 hours per week, with the opportunity for overtime to meet business needs.
Job Summary
This position is responsible for taking part in the proper harvest of dry marijuana flower product, including hanging dry flower on lines in dry room during harvest and bucking dry flower from stem during bucking production. This is the last step in the growing process before processors trim and send to recreational stores. Supports and adheres to company's Standards of Conduct & Discipline.
Job Duties/Responsibilities

- Hangs fresh flower on nylon lines during harvest, determining which pieces of fresh flower to hang.
- Climbs ladder and ties nylon lines.
- Transfers flower from room to room.
- Bucks/debones flower from stem.
- Determines how much flower is needed to fill a tote.
- Cleans and sanitizes dry room.
- Performs all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned.
Job Qualifications

- Must be 21 years old or older
Education/Experience: to perform this job successfully, an individual must have:
- a High School Diploma or a General Education Degree
- Experience in trimming, bucking or growing
- Ability to be detail oriented and focus on one task for a long period of time
- or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to:
- Regularly sit or stand for up to 8 hours, pull/push, climb, carry up to 25 pounds, talk, hear and grasp.
- Frequently walk, reach, and taste, or smell.
- Occasionally stoop/crouch, or crawl.
- Clearly see 20+ feet, have peripheral vision and depth perception, and be able to see up close with or without corrective lenses and differentiate between colors (no color blindness). Must have ability to adjust focus.
