Cannabis Construction Manager/Crew Member will be expected to ensure all daily and weekly tasks delegated by the Head of Cultivation & Management are completed accurately and efficiently. You will assist Head of Cultivation with ensuring the successful growth and cultivation of all cannabis material. Will be required to Operate Heavy Equipment such as BobCat, Kabelco, and a tractor. Crew Member will assist with all IPM regimes within their grow space. Including but not limited to the nursery and propagation department, production department, and harvesting and trimming. It is vital that instructions are followed and information is passed accordingly.
Responsibilities for Construction Manager
- Report project progress to superiors
- Develop a work schedule for workers
- Supervise all construction workers
- Be the liaison between construction workers and supervisors
- Solve disputes between workers
- Ensure that a project is adequately staffed
- Assign tasks to construction workers
- Ensure that the project is staying on or under budget
Qualifications for Construction Manager
- High School Diploma or GED required
- General Understanding of Plumbing, Mechanical, and Electrical work
- 2 years of Construction management experience
- Ability to organize a work schedule
- Ability to solve disputes between workers
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to negotiate
- Deep knowledge of the construction industry and processes
- Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints
- Perform quality checks/maintenance on construction equipment
- Comfortable working

You will assist the Cultivation Assistant/Team Lead with all activities associated with cultivation to include all departments. Crew Member will assist with all IPM regimes within their growspace. Ÿ Daily care of medical cannabis plants, including inspecting the plants, creating crop reports, pruning, defoliating, and training the plant
Ÿ Careful monitoring of the plants for any signs of growing issues or problems; treatment for disease or infestation.
Ÿ Assist with de-foliating and harvesting the medical cannabis plants, including hanging, curing, and drying the plants.
Ÿ Continuous systematic cleaning and sanitizingof grow facility, equipment, and machinery; dispose of waste according to strict compliance guidelines.
Ÿ Accurate tracking and recording of grow data during each phase of the cultivation process.
Ÿ Ensure the appropriate information is accurate and listed clearly in accordance with the state regulations and company standard operating procedures.
Ÿ Carefully follow directions as provided by the Cultivation Manager. HOC, CA
Ÿ Willingness to continue to learn best practices of medical cannabis cultivation with a strong interest in horticulture, agriculture, and biochemistry
Ÿ Additional job duties as assigned.

What You Will Do:
- Maintain greenhouse and aquaponics cultivation protocols and a precise nutrient regimen
- Perform all cultivation tracking and record-keeping functions within the seed to sale electronic system remaining in compliance with the department’s rules and regulations
- Must be competent in all cultivation tasks, as well as all responsibilities of the assistant grower, fertilizer and IPM tech
- Oversee IPM program including elimination of all types of mold, powdery mildew, spider mites, aphids, fungus gnats, etc.
- Adapt at industry best-practices and current on new techniques and insight with respect to nutrient of individual strains, high yield recipes, controlled stress environments to different lighting systems and set ups
- You must have a comprehensive knowledge of Cannabis.
- Participate with state and local government auditors and law enforcement with inventory, sales, and compliance audits.
- Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure requirements
- Responsible for independently managing the grow in a rotational schedule on weekends
- Work with Senior Management to plan and develop future production space
- Work closely with the Chief Compliance Officer, to ensure strict compliance with Facility’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), current Good Manufacturing Processes (cGMP) and FDA Regulations
- Monitor growing conditions such as changes in humidity, moisture, air temperature, nutrient potency, and water temperature to meet quality standards
- Monitor and maintain fish tank tests and daily record keeping
- Maintain inventory of cultivation supplies
- Maintain each crop completely through the curing and drying process

- Knowledge of the cannabis plant and genetics
- 2+ years agricultural experience (greenhouse experience a plus)
- 2+ years cultivation experience as a grower tech or equivalent
- Good understanding or mastery of all grow mediums (soil, coco, perlite, compost, etc.) and irrigation methods (hand-water, cycle watering, ebb and flow, flood and drain, and drip systems)
- Knowledge of large-scale commercial plan cultivation including crop rotation management, nutrient requirements, growing mediums, grow light requirements, and environmental control.
- Must have accountability, proactive behavior, and strong attention to detail
- Competency in use of climate computer controls and automated irrigation systems
- Competency in building plant schedules
- Competent in the understanding of burping, curing, and drying of cannabis
- Competent in the trimming and preparation of cannabis to go to market
