The Canna Crew Member at Inspire Canna Co. is responsible for driving daily revenue goals, while ensuring an outstanding guest experience. The Canna Crew Member is responsible for ensuring all state issued regulations are followed during their assigned shifts. The Canna Crew Member is responsible for ensuring that Inspire Canna Co. is always clean and well organized. The Canna Crew Member is responsible for guiding customers through their cannabis experience and assuring their needs are met in a timely manner. The Canna Crew Member is also responsible for promoting a positive work environment and should be passionate about cannabis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis.
- Keeping abreast of new cannabis products on the market as well in store.
- Processing customers' payments using Inspire Canna Co.’s Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Ensuring that Inspire Canna Co. is clean and well-organized at all times.
- Educating customers on the safe use of their selected cannabis products.
- Correctly weighing, packaging, and labeling cannabis products as required.
- Checking customers' identification documents to verify that they are of legal age.
- Taking inventory of cannabis products and ensuring that the sales floor is adequately stocked.
- Execute store processes to increase patient visits, maximize store sales and optimize profitability.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through product recommendation and sharing of cannabis knowledge.
- Ensure all product displays are merchandised to effectively maximize revenue.
- Communicate regularly with the management team and direct reports regarding inventory availability and discrepancies.
- Follow and enforce all processes to ensure inventory and regulatory compliance.
- Process cannabis waste in accordance with state regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure required daily reporting is accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
- Ensure accurate accounting and proper financial processes are followed.
- Maintain a positive work environment by following code of conduct guidelines set forth by Inspire Canna Co. and the State of Michigan.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 1 year of verifiable cannabis experience is preferred.
- 3 or more years of customer service experience.
- Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including holidays, evenings and weekends.
- Effective communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Must pass a background check and be approved to work in Michigan under the MMFLA. This means there can be no misdemeanor convictions for drugs, fraud, dishonesty or theft in the last 5 years and no felony convictions in the last 10 years.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute store processes to increase patient visits, maximize store sales and optimize profitability.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through training, monitoring and metric analysis.
- Report metric trends and guest feedback to the Retail Store Manager.
- Determine product velocity based on market analysis and report trends to the Retail Store Manager.
- Ensure all product displays are merchandised effectively to maximize revenue.
- Communicate regularly with The Retail Store Manager and direct reports regarding inventory availability and discrepancies.
- Follow and enforce all processes to ensure inventory and regulatory compliance.
- Train, coach and document the performance issues of direct reports as needed.
- Manage and maintain Metrc and POS system inventory counts daily.
- Process cannabis waste in accordance with state regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure required reporting is accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
- Ensure accurate accounting and proper financial processes are followed.
- Follow and ensure all direct reports follow safety protocols.
- Maintain a positive work environment by following code of conduct guidelines set forth by Inspire Canna Co. .
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 3 years of verifiable management experience with proven success in a retail management environment.
- 5 or more years of customer service experience.
- Demonstrates business and financial acumen.
- Proven report analysis and decision making skills.
- 1 year or more of inventory management and product ordering.
- 1 year or more of experience with inventory control, product ordering and loss prevention.
- Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Must pass a background check and be approved to work under the MMFLA. This means there can be no misdemeanor convictions for drugs, fraud, dishonesty or theft in the last 5 years and no felony convictions in the last 10 years.
