A DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of a project including; estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation
- Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate
- Work closely with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings
- Participate in the proposal meeting with the owner to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideas
- Oversee the buyout process and the selection of subcontractors
- Conduct bi-weekly job site meetings on site
- Make sound decisions under tight deadlines
- Organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results
- Commit to quality by evaluating project-related processes
- Make necessary changes, use customer input to make improvements, and meet/exceed internal and external client expectations
- Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and other associates while maintaining a constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations
- BS in Engineering or related field; with a minimum of 3.0 GPA
- 2-5 years of construction management or engineering design experience
- Previous experience leading corporate office-, retail-, or restaurant/hospitality-related tenant improvement projects is preferred
- Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project

- Direct the scope of work, evaluate bids, and negotiate general construction contracts
- Oversee the contract change process.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager to monitor project management compliance with reporting related to corporate policy and the contract documents.
- Accept projects from the estimating department at budget transfer.
- Ensure the margin analyses are accurate and timely. Dig deep to mitigate potential losses and to enhance profitability.
- Review the schedule and weekly narrative to ensure the project is tracking for on-time and on-budget completion

- Verify daily field tasks with subcontractors
- Assist in building department related issues

Work Environment

- Inspect all work by our internal team as well as contractors for quality and completeness.
- Recommend and/or assist in the pursuit of additional team members and/or contractors to add to our development plans.
- Assistance in all planning activities as well as procurement is a must.
- Assess our overall facility on a regular basis and identify areas of improvement and necessary maintenance including emergency maintenance and repairs as needed from time to time.
- Establish proper tracking, inventory and procurement systems to ensure the team has all of the necessary tools, equipment and materials to complete projects in a timely and efficient manner.
- Working with our entire cultivation team especially our CEO to:
- Ensure our facilities are aligned with our cultivation plans especially as it relates to irrigation and fertigation.
- Ensure all facility improvements align with our cultivation plans.
- Ensure our development plans and schedules corelate to our cultivation plans and overall best practices.
- Ensure all construction work is being done to support plant health in terms of both quality and yield and suggest improvements and symmetries to drive production in a sustainable and efficient way.
- Some cultivation work will be helpful from time to time especially during the busiest times of planting and harvesting to ensure our entire company is focused on the plants but not necessarily required. This work may include but not be limited to; plant care, plant maintenance, nutrient application, pruning, data collection, defoliating, cutting, moving plants, maintain plant environment, sanitation, etc.
- Willing to provide feedback and ideas for system and process improvements.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- A positive attitude, a great work ethic, honest, trustworthy, willingness to learn, take direction, lead and be a self-starter.
- Construction experience especially management experience of a construction team and a large construction along with strong communication skills are a must.

Construction Project Manager (cannabis)
As Standard Wellness rapidly expands, the project manager will primarily be focused on building design and construction projects, however, the role may extend to other general/ corporate projects, as needed.
The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. This will include management of multiple projects concurrently. The project manager will plan and identify necessary project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, identify risks, and keep management informed through project completion.
Responsibilities include:
- Determine and define project scope and objectives
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Manage Request for Proposal (RFP) or competitive pricing processes including comprehensive price analysis and comparisons, review of firm(s) experience, scope review, and any other activity to support vendor selection
- Prepare budget and cash usage projections based on scope of work and resource requirements
- Track project costs in order to meet budget
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders on strategy, project status, risks, and adjustments necessary
- Manage relationships with architects, engineers, contractors and other vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks, communicating and managing against expected/ contracted deliverables
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or related field
- Commensurate experience will be considered
- Minimum 4 (four) years’ experience in project management
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a valid drivers’ license
- Must be able to pass all background check and licensing requirements as set forth by the state

This is a unique opportunity where you act as the contractor, represent the Owner, and are part of an aggressive and well- funded growth strategy.
Henry Yandt Construction is looking to hire an experienced Project Manager to work with our skilled capable team managing projects up to $20 million. This position requires at least 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager for a General Contractor. A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related engineering discipline is preferred. This person will possess skills in relationship building, negotiation, budget management and a proficient technical understanding of construction contracts, drawings, methods, and equipment are required.
The Project Manager has ownership of the entire construction process and performs these critical tasks:
- Drive the design process: looks for value engineered opportunities, works with in-house and/or external design professionals, key trades/vendors, and other internal stakeholders to develop permittable set of construction projects and full construction documents.
- Prepares complete estimates for projects, develops proposals and cost spreadsheets with detailed review of proposal specifications, drawings, and takeoff information.
- Develops work scope to provide to trade base for bidding purposes. Solicits bid proposals, seeks value engineered opportunities, and qualify bids. Completes bid reviews with trade suppliers and awards trades.
- Manages Job Cost Reports and Change Management processes.
- Oversees Project Engineer for submittal and RFI logs. Ensures expedited shop drawings and product data is reviewed and approved prior to releasing material. Submittals are reviewed, approved and distributed to all relevant trades.
- Coordinates construction progress meetings and produces well documented meeting minutes.
- Ensures Superintendent and Project Engineer perform all assigned duties.
- Oversees Superintendent’s task of scheduling and conducting all pre-installation meetings with required contractors and suppliers.
- Plans, coordinates and supervises in conjunction with the Superintendent’s on-site functions (scheduling, engineering, material control, and may provide day-to-day direction of on-site administrative staff in accounting, purchasing, etc.).
- Ensures accurate, timely owner billing and subcontractor/supplier payments on a monthly basis.
- Track project financial status throughout the duration of the project and identify and correct any potential issues to ensure the financial success of the project.
- Oversees punch list process and project closeout documents (as-builts, O&M, etc.) with project team.

This position requires creativity, initiative, teamwork, as well as superb communication skills, and problem-solving. This is an ideal position for someone who has significant experience in the construction industry and is interested in taking their career to the next level.
The candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience and an extensive understanding of construction means and methods. A clean driving record and ability to travel to job sites throughout New England is required. Experience with Procore is a plus.

Position Summary:
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. This will include management of multiple projects concurrently. The project manager will plan and identify necessary project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, identify risks, and keep management informed through project completion. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Provide management and administrative support for ongoing expansion and construction projects for the retail sale, cultivation, manufacturing, processing, and/or distribution of cannabis products across multiple states
- Support the project through regular onsite walkthroughs and attendance to all OAC meetings or meetings related to the design, construction, and administration of the project.
- Prioritize operating needs to develop a multi-year capital strategy with a focus on the safety of personnel, quality of work, on-time delivery, and cost management while addressing core needs
- Identify, plan, and administer capital expansion and revitalization projects annually, including design and construction projects along with current facility improvements such as HVAC replacements, parking lot replacements, exterior LED retrofits, scissor/roll down gates, dumpster enclosures, and others
- Support operational planning through technical expertise and process adherence for standardized SOWs, bid review, RFIs, submittals, change order management, materials supply management, RFPs, and real-time reporting.
- Provide strategic leadership and tactical support in the event of a significant disaster event or emergency in the assigned operating division
- Oversee vendor management including sourcing, KPI creation, and tracking, quality control, administrative compliance, and issue escalation/resolution
- Design and create project packages, including all relevant permissions, authorizations, certifications, and any architectural or engineering plans, designs and blueprints.
- Ensure vendors adhere to all Jushi internal requirements in addition to local/state/federal law
- Develop and implement administrative processes to ensure appropriate cost control/billing practices and insurance requirements are satisfied.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related degree
- 5+ years of management experience in field-based project management for a company with multi-site presence

- Support the project through regular onsite walkthroughs and attendance to all OAC meetings or meetings related to the design, construction, and administration of the project.
- Prioritize operating needs to develop a multi-year capital strategy with a focus on the safety of personnel, quality of work, on-time delivery, and cost management while addressing core needs
- Identify, plan, and administer capital expansion and revitalization projects annually, including design and construction projects along with current facility improvements such as HVAC replacements, parking lot replacements, exterior LED retrofits, scissor/roll down gates, dumpster enclosures, and others
- Support operational planning through technical expertise and process adherence for standardized SOWs, bid review, RFIs, submittals, change order management, materials supply management, RFPs, and real-time reporting.
- Provide strategic leadership and tactical support in the event of a significant disaster event or emergency in the assigned operating division
- Oversee vendor management including sourcing, KPI creation, and tracking, quality control, administrative compliance, and issue escalation/resolution
- Design and create project packages, including all relevant permissions, authorizations, certifications, and any architectural or engineering plans, designs and blueprints.
- Ensure vendors adhere to all Jushi internal requirements in addition to local/state/federal law
- Develop and implement administrative processes to ensure appropriate cost control/billing practices and insurance requirements are satisfied.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

The Construction Project Manager assists with organizing and controlling multiple construction projects and activities through communicating risks, opportunities, and current state of their project by coordinating meetings, resources, and information.

POSITION
PM is responsible for the general supervision and coordination of assigned construction projects. PM will coordinate bidding, negotiating, and awarding of construction contracts. PM will also oversee construction activities in the field, ensure quality/brand adherence, and closeout projects within the approved project budget, schedule, and quality standards established.
The position requires overseeing multiple cultivation and manufacturing facility projects in CA as well as other states ranging from ground up to construction to full renovation of existing buildings including site work. You must possess strong team leadership and the ability to drive processes and schedules to ensure key milestone dates are met. Cannabis experience preferred, not required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate site surveys when necessary
- Obtain, assemble and review all necessary documents on projects and forward to the architect to enable the start of working drawings
- Assist architect with development of preliminary design and working drawings
- Review architectural, mechanical, and electrical plans for accuracy
- Communicate with permit expeditor to ensure obtaining a permit in a timely manner
- Prepare and issue bid documents
- Provide purchasing manager with the scheduling of deliveries
- Review general contractor bids with Director of Construction and compare budget cost versus the committed cost
- Follow up on construction with general contractors to ensure accuracy and completion of projects on time
- Maintain communication with all necessary team members and outside resources regarding project status
- Visit job sites selectively during the construction phase and/or upon completion to complete a punch list
- Follow-up on punch list items to ensure completion in a timely manner
- Oversee set up of all utility services for permanent and temporary spaces
- Review and approve project invoices
- Ensure collection of all contractor and subcontractor lien releases, subcontractor list, warranties, contractor affidavits, air balance reports, and certificates of occupancy
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in construction management or equivalent experience
- 5 to 7 years ground up, TI and Commercial CUP/Planning/Construction experience
- General knowledge of construction process, operational procedures, interfaces, and plan development as well as the licensing and compliance requirements
- Knowledge of construction methods and materials

JOB OVERVIEW*
The National Construction Project Manager will be responsible for administering all aspects of retail build-outs or improvements as well as maintaining the project budget, schedule, and change management.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES *
- Oversee all project staff to ensure the quality standards of the project are met or exceeded.
