THE OPPORTUNITY
The Retail General Manager is primarily responsible for the management, maintenance, and supervision of day-to-day retail operations activity of the dispensary location. The Retail General Manager will be responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employees and is accountable for all aspects of managing the retail store. The Retail General Manager will ensure all associates adhere to the company mission statement and core values while maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism.
- Meets operational expectations and maintains high product quality standards by following and upholding all of the Jushi’s policies, procedures, and security protocols
- Responsible for following Retail Operations Policy Guide to ensure consistent store operations across all retail locations of The Jushi brand; Creating brand loyalty, brand consistency, and ensuring repeat guest visits
- Interfaces with vendors, Purchaser, and Security personnel to coordinate the purchase of products, retail products in diversified markets.
- Performs tracking functions to account for inventory, ordering, accounts payable, logistics and deliveries, and sales; May assist the corporate office in analyzing data for trends
- Responsible for monitoring and using security cameras to maintain safety and security of facility; Ensuring regulatory compliance and upholding Jushi’s operations standards
- Retains thorough and comprehensive knowledge of guest services, patient benefits, potency, contaminant and homogeneity testing procedures and benefits, sales, discounts and promotions, product pricing, Jushi’s policy and procedure, regulations, HIPPA compliance, all functions of operations, and acts as a resource for all staff members
- Monitors overall retail sales and creates practical solutions to increase sales, including creation, implementation, and evaluation of promotions, discounts, and guest benefits
- Responsible for inventory control; Performing all receiving, transferring, reporting, reconciling, and inventory management functions within our software.
- Ensures cleanliness and organization of store, retail storage areas, office and store supplies, and any production areas of the facility; Oversees the stocking of retail items and supplies, and sanitization of all areas, including restrooms
- Responsible for increasing sales and profitability, by ensuring efficient operations, utilizing cost-saving measures, increasing productivity and limiting discretionary spending
- Responsible for overseeing team performance and the development, recruiting, training, and retention of high-caliber employees, including grooming staff for internal promotions and increased responsibility
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in any field preferred
- Experience or study emphasis in biology, medicine, horticulture, agriculture, business, management, or hospitality
- Minimum of five years combined dispensary, call center, retail, sales, hospitality, or customer service experience
- Excellent computer and technical skills, including experience with web browsers, retail POS systems, and credit card processing terminals.
- High-level critical thinking, attention to detail, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills
- Must be comfortable adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions and decimals, and high-volume cash handling
- Bilingual skills a plus.

The Shift Supervisor will partner with the Dispensary Manager to lead the team. This role should lead by example by being the ultimate illustration of service, dedication, pace, and energy. The Shift Supervisor will also be primarily responsible for receiving deliveries, inputting inventory data, restocking product on the floor, and ensuring that all product remains in FIFO order. The Shift Supervisor should mentor, motivate, elevate, and inspire the team by keeping a positive and can-do attitude at all times.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Follow and uphold established policies for sales and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and strains in the store, as well as industry-wide product knowledge and strive to train and share that knowledge with other members of the team
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, ensuring an assortment of product, and communicating inventory action items with the Store Manager
- Assist Patient Care Specialists in the consultation of patients to ensure that the employee is empowered and informed on the right product choices by being knowledgeable about how different methods of cannabis consumption affect our patients differently
- Complete and appropriately delegate (if applicable) tasks assigned during a scheduled shift:
o Correct cash handling and discount application
o Verification of proper paperwork, documentation, and ID for patients
o Security measures and safety compliance
o Maintenance of an organized and clean store
o Support of open communication with the management team and other coworkers
o Reporting of team member issues or customer situations
o End of day daily update e-mails
o Opening and closing duties
- Work with the Management team to ensure retail store operations run smoothly, accurately, and in compliance with the applicable rules and regulations, including:
- Lead in the onboarding and training of new Customer Care Specialists in partnership with the Store Manager
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in any field preferred
- Experience or study emphasis in biology, medicine, horticulture, agriculture, business, management, or hospitality
- Minimum of 2 years combined dispensary, call center, retail, sales, hospitality, or customer service experience
- Excellent computer and technical skills, including experience with web browsers, retail POS systems, and credit card processing terminals.
- High-level critical thinking, attention to detail, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills
- Must be comfortable adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions and decimals, and high-volume cash handling

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Provide management and administrative support for ongoing expansion and construction projects for the retail sale, cultivation, manufacturing, processing, and/or distribution of cannabis products across multiple states
- Support the project through regular onsite walkthroughs and attendance to all OAC meetings or meetings related to the design, construction, and administration of the project.
- Prioritize operating needs to develop a multi-year capital strategy with a focus on the safety of personnel, quality of work, on-time delivery, and cost management while addressing core needs
- Identify, plan, and administer capital expansion and revitalization projects annually, including design and construction projects along with current facility improvements such as HVAC replacements, parking lot replacements, exterior LED retrofits, scissor/roll down gates, dumpster enclosures, and others
- Support operational planning through technical expertise and process adherence for standardized SOWs, bid review, RFIs, submittals, change order management, materials supply management, RFPs, and real-time reporting.
- Provide strategic leadership and tactical support in the event of a significant disaster event or emergency in the assigned operating division
- Oversee vendor management including sourcing, KPI creation, and tracking, quality control, administrative compliance, and issue escalation/resolution
- Design and create project packages, including all relevant permissions, authorizations, certifications, and any architectural or engineering plans, designs and blueprints.
- Ensure vendors adhere to all Jushi internal requirements in addition to local/state/federal law
- Develop and implement administrative processes to ensure appropriate cost control/billing practices and insurance requirements are satisfied.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related degree
- 5+ years of management experience in field-based project management for a company with multi-site presence
- Project management certification (PMP) preferred
- Background in manufacturing, healthcare/hospital, pharmaceutical or laboratory construction projects
- Experience working on stand-alone construction builds
- Experience in strategic planning, risk management, and change management
- Proficiency in project management software tools
