The Inventory Manager will be responsible for inventory recording, compliance, demand vs. supply, forecasting sales trends, and accuracy in all phases of the retail sale of cannabis products in the dispensary. This role will help bring the brand to life, creating a comprehensive seasonal, annual, and long-term inventory strategy in partnership with the VP of Merchandising, the Director of Retail Operations, and all store level functional partners to exceed targets.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure inventory records are always accurate
- Manage end-to-end inventory for all locations. This includes buying planning, inventory category and SKU level buying, allocation, and sales reporting.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure no stock outs and communicate items at risk
- Place purchase orders with suppliers.
- Generate sales analytics to measure item performance and communicate financial results.
- Assist in the development of assortment by location. Determine category-level inventory buys across all stores.
- Follow state guidelines to maintain an accurate physical inventory and ensure the integrity of the dispensary records
- Assist in managing State inventory system
- Work with our local Compliance Manager to ensure all inventory issues are handled on a timely basis
- Provide weekly on-hand supply counts to the purchasing team for ordering for store consumption
- Manage relationships with all operational vendors to achieve objectives and implement new business policies and projects in a timely and efficient manner
- Responsible for initiating and leading initiatives related to inventory
- Forecast inventory needs by reviewing stock levels and SKU performance.
- Enter purchase orders into the MJ Freeway system.
- Build financial targets from both top-down and bottoms up perspectives.
- Must build and maintain collaborative partnerships and solid relationships with our Pennsylvania Grow Processors and our suppliers
- Coordinate accurate and punctual inventory allocation by location.
Education and Required Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Materials Management, Supply Chain or related field
- Minimum of five years of supply chain functional, operations/inventory management experience.
- General accounting concept knowledge
- Cannabis Industry Experience a Plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, Access, Word and PowerPoint

The Master Grower will manage a one of the largest-scaled greenhouses in the world that will include hemp and CBD cultivation as well as cultivation for herbaceous annuals. This individual will oversee all the tasks in the Greenhouse including cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation, topping, flushing, preventative sprays, trimming, packaging, inventory management and tracking.
The Ideal candidate will have strong experience managing large-scale production systems (at least 100,000 sq ft or more) and a deep understanding of plant physiology.
Location: Must live in or be willing to relocate to Illinois.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform all grow tasks including but not limited to: cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation, super cropping, topping, flushing, foliar and preventative sprays, trimming, packaging, waste disposal and inventory management.
- Leadership and organization for all activities including training employees, scheduling, and overseeing employee activities for all operations including propagation, planting, cultivating, irrigation, harvesting, product processing, production and record keeping
- Maintain and manage a large-scale greenhouse grow facility in a clean and organized work environment.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Operations Director manages the core of the cultivation department. Our client, a vertically integrated operator of licensed cannabis cultivation, manufacturing, and retail facilities is looking for a Director of Compliance Operations on the East Coast of the US. This position is responsible for being the guru of compliance and manage a team of compliance managers at manufacturing and cultivation sites throughout the East coast. Position is based out of Philadelphia, PA; Somerville, NJ; Baltimore, MD; or Boston, MA
JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Develops internal audit procedures for all business entities in various states and localities on the East coast.
- Conducts regular, random internal audits of facility operations and prepares written reports to senior management.
- Creates and implements standard operating procedures(SOP), internal processes, and compliance training for cultivation, manufacturing, and distribution centers.
- Assists with remedial action to address gaps in facility operational compliance and mitigate future risks.
- Helps prepare for facility inspections, government regulatory investigations, and external audits.
- Reviews government investigation findings and mitigates with preparing and implementing corrective action plans.
- Ensures proper tracking and tracing of inventory and waste through various seed-to-sale software programs (MJ Freeway, BioTrack, METRC).
- Drafts official communications and assists with responses to government agencies and other regulatory bodies.
- Reviews and approves packaging and labeling designs for cultivated and manufactured products.
- Partners with operational leads to ensure recordkeeping and security requirements are met at every facility.
- Keep an eye on changes to cannabis laws, regulations, and industry guidance in various states and municipalities.
EDUCATION AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 10+ years experience as a regulatory compliance leader in a highly regulated industry required
- Experience in a Manufacturing/CPG setting required
- Experience in cannabis cultivation/manufacturing operations preferred
- Experience with implementing and using MJ Freeway, BioTrack, METRC preferred
- Bachelors degree in Business, Legal or another related field is required
COMPENSATION: $110,000 $125,000 with benefits

The ideal candidate can live in PA, VA, or OH.
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Manage and direct a team of QA professionals in the development of Quality Management systems, ensure that both internal (Manufacturing) and external (Supplier) processes are conducted with consistency and control, and will promulgate a culture of excellence and compliance throughout the organization.
- Regular travel to the different facilities and locations throughout the organization.
- Participate in new GMP facility design, construction, and process implementation.
- Develop, refine and educate team members on quality management program to ensure there is an in-depth understanding of program and individual responsibilities
- Oversee GMP production operations, including establishing SOPs, training, and oversee operations for quality controls and GMP compliance.
- Perform regular internal and contract manufacturer audits, track trend quality metrics and KPIs.

- Serve as an escalation point for corporate quality issues, including investigations, recalls, deviations, CAPA, Change controls, inspections, clearances, validation, and training.
- Serve as a resource working with research staff in study design, data collection and analysis, reporting activities that support quality improvement interventions, transparency, compliance regulatory standards and provide performance monitoring.
- Assure review and approval of batch record documentation, including validation protocols, master batch records, analytical test results, packaging, and labeling documentation.
- Represent the Quality function during inspections by regulatory authorities and customers.
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree in Science or similar technical discipline is required. Masters degree preferred.
- 10+ years experience in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs.
- Familiarity with 21 CFR 111, cGMP practices, DSHEA, FDA regulation, and audits
- Extensive knowledge of cGMP requirements in dietary supplement or pharmaceutical manufacturing
- The ability to travel 50-75% of the time.
- Experience working in FDA-regulated industry.
- Experience with FDA inspections and communication with regulators
- Experience in budget management and managing scientific staff from a budgetary and personnel standpoint.
- Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders in a complex/changing global environment.
- Experience with all phases of the product development lifecycle, including concept, design, implementation, verification, and validation activities necessary for product commercialization a plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Direct operational issues and budget decisions; participate in developing and implementing rules, regulations, department policies, and procedures

Required Experience, Education, and Skills

Required Skills and Education:

- Review and lead all change order processing and negotiations
- Prepare any Tenant Improvement/Landlord work packages for commercial build outs and oversee Landlord Work/TI Package fit out
- Serve as the company lead on the leasing/turnover schedule during the transition to Operations
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field of study
- At least 5-8 years of experience providing similar services
- Ability to work in the field and in an office environment.

The Cultivation Manager will work closely with the Managing Director to create policies and procedures for the cultivation department, manage the daily operations, and oversee a cultivation team of over 20.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the day to day and big picture operations for their greenhouse and indoor commercial cannabis cultivation facilities.
- Primary responsibilities include; strain management, cloning, transplanting, feeding, cropping, flushing, spraying, trimming, as well as the drying and curing process
- Develop and oversee the cultivation procedures and nutrient protocols, keeping accurate records and presenting the results in a timely manner to the appropriate executives
- Manage and train a cultivation team of up to 20 cultivation leads and cultivation assistants
- Responsible for operating and maintaining computerized control systems including lighting and irrigation
- Strict compliance with track and trace software currently in place
- Adhere to company cultivation methods, and work closely with the rest of the cultivation department to develop and improve processes and supervise all post-harvest activities
- Ensure post-harvest work areas are clean and maintained in accordance with the companys standard operating procedures, and motivate the cultivation staff to meet performance targets
- Ensure proper training and development of employees and prepare weekly employee time and payroll
- Schedule preventative maintenance to ensure the highest quality yields without loss to fungus, disease and mold etc.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Botany, Plant Science, Horticulture Horticulture, Plant Biology or related field
- 3-5+ years commercial agriculture experience
- 2+ years cannabis cultivation experience in a commercial environment
- Must be a strong leader with an acute business sense
- Experience with various grow mediums and irrigation methods
- Experienced team leader with a positive attitude and vision for the future
- Knowledge of crop management and commercial agriculture
- Knowledge of plant diseases, pests and health
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Must be 21+, with a valid State ID, with no violent crime or controlled substance felonies, and able to pass additional background screening
Compensation: $80-90K base salary, plus a variable quarterly bonus based on production targets.

- Schedule plant maintenance and maintain organization to keep costs down
- Track and catalog each strain from seed to flower to harvest.
- Comprehensive knowledge of strains including Sativa, Indica and Hybrids and understand the medicinal implementation and effects of strains
Education and Experience Requirements:
- 5+ years as a Head Grower in a Commercial Indoor Operation
- 5+ years commercial agriculture experience
- Must be a strong leader with an acute business sense
- Expertise and knowledge with nutrients and soil mediums (hydroponics preferred)
- California compliant Integrated Pest Management solutions and ability to identify nutrient deficiencies proactively
- Up to date and advanced knowledge of the cannabis plant growing techniques, new strains and genetics
- Well organized and attention to detail is a must
- Experienced team leader with a positive attitude and vision for the future
