We are in search of an ambitious Senior Accountant with cost accounting experience who can work with multiple departments on the cost accounting system and month end close. Join an accounting team that is quickly bringing a new level of professionalism and sophistication to our industry. This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Accounting Manager.
The position is based at our Santa Rosa, CA corporate office and will comply with the Company’s health policies regarding in-office and remote work.

Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing; (i.e., prepare monthly closing entries for cash, prepaid expenses, and other accounts)
- Assist the Accounting Manager with bank reconciliations and cash postings
- Assist with inter-company reconciliations and billings
- Working with cultivation and production crews to update our standard costs; review of cost pools, cost drivers, BOMs etc.
- Review monthly financials for accuracy, variance analysis, and identification of any necessary changes to the cost accounting system.
- Assess and continuously improve cost accounting system SOPs.
- Integrate new products into the cost accounting system/budget/cost analysis etc.
- Site visits to review the cultivation and manufacturing process and allocations.
- Summarize and prepare status and transaction reports, including segment profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and others as needed.
- Guide staff by answering questions and reviewing work products related to cost accounting.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years in accounting, with at least 3+ in a cost accounting role
- Experience in agricultural or manufacturing cost accounting preferred
- CPA or CA highly preferred
- SAP experience highly preferred, current ERP system is SAP B1
- Advanced proficiency in excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Project management skills
- Ability to present and lead discussions related to cost accounting

- Harvest crew oversees the drying and curing
- Prepares the product for processing

Position Summary:
We are looking for a candidate that loves a fast paced, well organized and efficient department, whom is looking to join our Packaging. Our packaging department moves together throughout the day as a cohesive team creating systems, applying techniques and providing solutions in an efficient and safe manner. In this role you will ensure consistent supply of NorCal finished flower goods through collaboration with Distribution and Product Teams. Packaging Manager is tasked with ensuring that the necessary weekly and monthly packaging schedules are up to date and visible to all divisions for planning purposes. Additionally, it is imperative that production orders are completed in the ERP & Metrc systems and that inventory is on hand and allocated for all projects ahead of time. An unyielding focus by the Packaging Manager on efficiency combined with both machine and staff management is essential to NorCal’s success.
- Works cross functionally with production and product teams to ensure prioritization of packaged flower projects
- Help develop, execute and update Standard Operating Procedures for all packaging processes.
- Knowledge to maintain and operate all manufacturing equipment necessary to achieve NorCal’s continued growth
- Manages schedules and timelines for all internal packaging
- Maintain regular communication with product, production & distribution to maintain minimum and maximum levels for purchasing.
- Ensure that the necessary jars, bags, boxes, tubes, labels and any other packaging materials are available for the projects in queue.
- Coordinate schedules with product team to ensure par levels are maintained
- Work with production planning management to ensure proper costs are being tracked and updated Track finished goods inventory for designated products at target levels to ensure product availability.
- Ensure coordination with respective production teams to execute on a daily, weekly and monthly schedule.
- Timely reporting
- Staff, train and manage the packaging division on all processes, including safety and compliant handling of product
- Coordinate, schedule and update the packaging pipeline so forecasting can be viewed/accessed by anyone in the company to see live time progress (packaging pipeline should be at least a week out in forecasting)
- Accountable for maintaining cost effective units per hour on jarring, bagging, joint rolling, etc.
- Coordinating with the art team to produce and receive batch label art for all tested products in the packing pipeline.
- Oversight of quality control in all packaged goods produced by GB2
- Other duties as assigned
Experience & Skills:
- BS/BA Degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Possess the ability to manage multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously
- Must be a self starter and self motivated and proven to work with little supervision
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Experience ERP systems, SAP Business One preferred, Strong excel skills

A Team Lead is responsible for creating the customer experience that accurately reflects and promotes our core values. We are soon opening our Flagship Store in Santa Rosa and looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to assist in leading a stellar dispensary crew with the support of the Store Manager. In this role, you will assist the Store Manager in leading the cannabis retail team and oversee day to day operations. You will foster a culture of trust, teamwork and camaraderie, with communication being at the forefront of team building. You will coordinate the details of daily operations, working closely with the Store Manager. You will oversee security, reporting and cash management procedures related to opening and closing of the store.

As the Inventory Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring all daily inventory tasks meet standards in order to maintain a smooth retail operation. Responsibilities include receiving and intaking all products, quality control and food safety; ensuring segregation and disposal of outdated, damaged, deteriorated, misbranded or adulterated cannabis; ensuring proper tracking and disposal of unusable products based on state and local requirements; processing and packaging of product as needed; ensuring that the oldest stock of cannabis products are distributed first; executing precise daily, weekly and monthly inventory reports; conducting audits in accordance with state guidelines; and the daily tracking and supply of inventory both on the sales floor and back storage.
What you’ll do
- Assist with Inventory related processes in the store
- Ensure accurate reporting to Store manager relating to inventory, tracking and quality control
- Uphold a safe, organized and compliant system for the storage, receipt and processing of inventory
- Assist in receiving all products for the dispensary using the POS and Inventory Management System
- Continuously work towards growing your knowledge of the products and brands we offer to guests
- Assess product quality and resolve quality concerns
- Participate in product processing/packaging projects as needed, ensuring appropriate quantities, accurate weights, quality control, sanitation standards, and proper packaging and labeling to meet all local and state labeling requirements
- Adhere to a strict policy and set of procedures for the disposal of unusable cannabis products in accordance with state and local laws and guidance from local law enforcement
- Complete daily restocking and the introduction of new inventory
- Facilitate daily, weekly and monthly inventory audits, counting and tracking; report results to the store manager.
- Compliance with hygiene and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in maintaining appropriate levels of supplies, organization and overall cleanliness of the department and product storage areas
- Support accurate, organized and compliant departmental records; review for assurance that no errors have occurred, or if they have occurred, that they have been investigated and resolved
What we are looking for
- 1 year of experience in inventory control
- Prior experience working in the cannabis industry and/or knowledge of metrc training is a plus

Supplies and Inventory Management
- Assist Lead Cultivator in maintaining inventory for all cultivation related supplies including, but not limited to: soil/soilless media, geopots, nutrients, compost tea ingredients, ph adjusters, media rinsing agents, water filters, etc.
Time Commitment
- It is the responsibility of the Assistant Cultivator to communicate and schedule with the Lead Cultivator and company CSO, as well as supporting staff, to maintain a healthy sustainable balance between time on duty and time away from work. That said, given the slightly unpredictable and demanding nature of the job, the assistant cultivator is expected to be responsive should the gardens require assistance beyond the normal expectation of time onsite.
Maintaining a Culture of Safety, Excellence, and Symbiotic Relations
- Awardees of this position are expected to be intimately familiar with all aspects of the AED Cultivation Plan, which includes standard operating procedures, safety measures & protocol, and the establishment of symbiotic relationships with all human and vegetal relations in the workplace.

Corporate Finance Analyst will work closely with Senior Leadership on key strategic initiatives, as well as internal and external business leaders to support our growth and vision to be amongst the leading vertically integrated cannabis companies. This role will be heavily involved in prospective financial modeling for all business segments. This role will also play a part in the sourcing, evaluation, and structure of any potential mergers & acquisitions.
This is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Accounting and Finance.
Due to COVID- 19, the position is currently remote, however, when our office reopens the position will be based at our Santa Rosa, CA corporate office.
Responsibilities
- Serving as a key member of the financing team, with responsibilities including capital cost evaluation, optimization, structuring, and diligence
- Support CEO & the Director of Accounting and Finance with financial modeling supporting our financing goals and acquisitions
- Assist CEO with Conference prep; assembling deck presentations
- Assist CEO with investor relations including communication and financial reporting
- Supporting the end-to-end acquisition (M&A) process in conjunction with senior management, including consideration of strategic fit, business assessment, due diligence, valuation, contract negotiation, and integration
- Assessment and reporting of new growth opportunities
- Ad hoc requests to drive strategic projects and initiatives
Qualifications and Requirements
- 1-5 years of relevant experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or finance
- Accounting knowledge preferred; GAAP, IFRS,
- 1+ years of relevant experience in the cannabis sector preferred, but not required
- Strong financial modeling and presentation skills
- Large ERP system experience required. SAP B1 a plus and SQL expertise preferred
- Advanced excel skill set
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree required

Responsibilities
- Provide executive-level support and serve as an internal point of contact to the CEO with a high degree of initiative, judgement, and discretion
- Ensure that the CEO is well prepared for all meetings, coordinate resources, and assemble appropriate reference and back-up material for all meetings;
- Manage all aspects of Leadership meetings; agenda items for participants, scheduling, the taking of minutes, meeting space set up, distribute of action items post meeting
- Notify participants of their agenda items for each meeting
- Create leverage by facilitating awareness of key issues and making quick, high quality decisions
- Collaborate with executive team leaders to determine and prioritize business strategies
- Liaison with management teams
- Lead and organize weekly management meetings with department leadership
- Calendar management – manage the scheduling and arrangements for meetings with NorCal Cannabis employees and outside business contacts.

Job Responsibilities
- Processing product in preparation for trim room
- Remove fan leaf from branches
- Manicureflower in a timely and efficient manner
- Remove crows feet and leaf while preserving product integrity
- Ability to identify disease and pest damage
- Ability to identity strains to prevent mixing batches
- Manipulating stem length for highest quality presentation
- Maintain an organized tray, sorting out smalls and removing waste and fan leaf from trim
- Capable of identifying disease and damage such as bud rot and pest damage
- Product is served to trimmers bucked down to piece with most fan leaf removed, trimmers should be able to complete a minimum of 5lbs in a 8 hours sitting
- Cleaning totes and work spaces
Physical Demands:
- Remaining in a standing position for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 25lbs regularly, 50lbs infrequently
- Ability to focus on repetitive tasks
- Hand and finger dexterity required for extended periods
- Consistent hand-eye coordination

Qualifications:
- Experience working a production line (with machinery) is preferred: I.e. weight machines, capping machines, conveyor belts, label application, printers, etc.
- Working on, adjusting and fixing machinery related to a production line
- Quality control experience in marijuana, food or other clean industries
- Competent at problem solving under pressure of production quotas
- Good time management and efficient work flow

This is a full-time, hourly position located at NCC’s Santa Rosa campus and reporting to Jeb Berman, Director of Supply Chain Quality Control.
Responsibilities
- Maintains full and up-to-date understanding of NCC operations and procedures needed to comply with all aspects of cannabis law and regulation, as provided, and follows such operations and procedures;
- Collects and enters data to prepare and process production orders and inventory transfers, and assists as needed with the preparation and processing of additional SAP documents and workflows;
- Maintains database validity and fidelity by ensuring that standard operations and procedures are followed across the supply chain;
- Supports the creation, update and preservation of timely and accurate records relating to purchase and receipt of goods, inventory levels, production planning schedules, costs of goods sold, and bills of materials;
- Supports the provision of timely and accurate raw data for entry in the CCTT-Metrc and SAP databases;
- Supports the maintenance of timely and accurate commercial cannabis activity records in the CCTT-Metrc and SAP databases;
- Assists with weekly and monthly plant counts and inventory reconciliations;
- Operates at the nexus of, and generally supports data collection and management for, the Cultivation and Production departments; and
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements

Position Summary:

Summary of Position:
As the Integrated Pest Management Technician, you will work closely with the IPM Manager in conjunction with General Managers and under the guidance of the Director of
Cultivation, and be responsible for scouting and identifying pests, diseases and other
abiotic problems in the plants in all areas of the cultivation facility. You will apply and
oversee all the IPM products applications; prepare weekly reports about the findings,
and keep the application and MSDS records up to date.

Perform and provide leadership for all IPM tasks including:
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment;

Follow IPM schedules;
- Provide IPM Manager with Daily IPM Status Reports
- Comply with all company policies including confidentiality, non-compete, and non-disclosure of/with all company methods and procedures.
- Scout all the plants in the Facility (moms, clones, veg, flower, quarantine, etc.) and prepare reports of findings on time Identify invading pests, disease and biological agents.
- Set, monitor and report findings of mechanical traps (sticky cards, etc.)
- Calculate different rates for different volumes of IPM products
- Assist in the completion of the IPM program including; cultural, physical, biological, and chemical control methods.
- Apply IPM products and release Biologicals. Spray/Drench IPM products solutions, powders, and gases to target specific pest and or disease
- Provide guidance to other workers involved in application
- Utilize appropriate protective gear and equipment during application
- Clean and remove IPM products after application and make sure sprayers and pumps are clean after the application.
- Plate possible disease problem, incubate, prepare slides for Microscope identification and submit to the Agronomist/Plant Health Manager Perform other job assignments as needed

- Stays up to date on current promotions and inventory levels of current products and new releases.
- Actively participates in and stays engaged with community events, outreach programs, employee activities to help build community trust and team cohesion
What You’ll Need
- Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to positively influence people; must be capable of effectively interacting at all levels in the organization.
- Cannabis experience is a plus
- High level of organization, patience and flexibility
- Minimum 21 year of age
- 3+ years of retail or hospitality experience
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proven ability to drive and exceed individual and store results
- Ability to maintain high standards in a fast paced, dynamic, constantly evolving environment
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
