We are looking for part time Dispensary Associates to join our team!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service in accordance with established standards.
- Develop and maintain rapport with our patients, vendors, service providers and staff.
- Ensure members' concerns and/or questions are solved and answered promptly and efficiently, and communicate member requests and/or problems to management when needed.
- Recommend, select and help locate the proper medicine for patient depending on their individual needs.
- Communicate the effects of different types of cannabis to patients clearly and effectively.
- Ensure strict controls to protect organization assets at the direction of management.
- Set up and break down display cases daily. Assist in display maintenance and housekeeping.
- Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock, and participate in inventory counts.
- Answer phone calls and forward to the appropriate staff member.
- Frequently maintain dispensary's cleanliness, i.e. dusting, glass cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping and sanitization.
- Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect.
- Maintain strictest confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Perform other related work as required.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Retail, cash handling and Point of Sales (POS) experience required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience in the medical cannabis industry desirable, but not required
- Must be 21 years old
- Subject to background check per state cannabis regulations
- Must be able to work weekends and some holidays
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient computing skills

What you’ll be doing:
As a member of the Cultivation team you will be primarily responsible for day to day cultivation responsibilities to assure healthy plants, producing the highest quality flower.
You will,
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and packaging practices under the direction of the Cultivation Manager
- Transplanting, watering, pruning, cleaning feeding and fertilizing
- Maintaining all feeding, watering and pH logs, reporting any discrepancies or problems immediately
- Checking plants daily for evidence of mold or pests and report any findings
- Documenting daily cultivation activities and reporting concerns
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment
- Cleaning, sterilizing and maintaining cultivation facility, including some janitorial tasks
Your experience and skills include:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience cultivating in a commercial growing operation is desired
- Basic math skills
- Familiarity with warehouse
- Strong communication and team
- Ability to stay focused on repetitive work without compromising quality and appearance
- Ability to stay up to speed/ target while maintaining quality and accuracy

This is a full time position located in San Francisco reporting to the VP of Cultivation.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining a clean and organized working environment
- Routine and frequent sterilization of cultivation tools, measuring cups, floors, horticultural tables, etc.
- Maintaining garden needs on a daily, weekly, monthly, and harvest batch basis

- Nutrient Recipes, reservoir and stock tank maintenance

- Monitoring EC (ppm) & pH levels in both nutrient reservoirs & planted media

Tracking and tagging plants for inventory and identification purposes
Develop & Demonstrate knowledge and/or implementation of:
- Pests and pathogens identification associated with cannabis cultivation; Integrated pest management (fostering symbiotic relationships within planted environs to prevent pathogens and pests);
- Ideal climate conditions conducive for stages in cannabis cultivation;
- Cultivation analytics (ie. EC & PH readings, Volumetric Water Content of Substrate, Vapor Pressure Deficit in climate conditions).
- Best sustainable cultivation management practices;
- Basic plumbing and drainage; Basic electrical (ex: 120v vs. 208/240, etc.);
- Starting plants from seed and identifying males vs. female plants;

The Dispensary Manager ensures that the dispensary operations comply with the State Regulations and internally approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). The Dispensary Manager collaborates with the Sr. Retail Leaders to develop, document, and implement practices, policies, and strategies that support performance and results-driven culture.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains the highest level of presentation, customer service, and compassion to all patients
- Responsible for managing the dispensary department in a manner that supports the organizations' mission
- Provide departmental leadership to assure that all departmental operations such as admissions, patient consulting, product dispensing, cash management, inventory management, inventory auditing, outreach, marketing, and ordering are functioning with integrity and in the most cost-efficient, compassionate, and compliant manner
- Performing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reviews and provide suggestions for improvement to the Executive Director
- Responsible for ensuring vigilance, adherence, and departmental compliance with the Medical Use of Marijuana Program and HIPPA regulations, including but not limited to confidentiality, training, patient record keeping, submissions of reports, preparation of policies and procedures, acting as a departmental contact person for regulators and law enforcement personnel
- Reviewing, maintaining, and updating all departmental SOP's and assuring that any changes are communicated to employees and the most recent SOP versions are available 24/7 for planned and unplanned audits by regulators and organization management
- Overseeing and ensuring cash management procedures are followed including, transacting, opening, closing, depositing, reporting, maintaining, and reconciling cash with all departmental SOP's
Compliance
- Practice policies and procedures related to the protection of personal and sensitive data must be adhered to at all times
- Assists senior leadership in adhering to all regulatory licenses and processing of renewals
- Responsible for leading and complying with planned and unplanned quarterly audits/inspections
Inventory Control and Management
- Creating new product and price points for our products
- Ensuring proper management of pre-packaged inventory and inventory movement between the vault and dispensing stations
- Overseeing and ensuring nightly audits & 30-day audits are conducted in conjunction with all departments
- Responsible for organizing regular meetings with suppliers to optimize discounts and achieve the best pricing in the market
Marketing and Outreach
- Organize and lead guest tours and maintaining relationships within our local communities
- Responsible for ongoing education and outreach programs
- Responsible for maintaining all social media content in a professional way that portrays a best in class company image
- Coordinate on the success of promotions, coupon and recommend future promotions and sales
- Measure customer satisfaction through surveys and interviews
- Responsible for the preparation of content for all educational materials and presentations
Human Resources
- Records Retention

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelors Degree in business, management, or related areas
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment; 5-7 years in a progressively responsible retail experience, including at least three years in a management position
