Agronomed Pharmaceuticals, LLC is seeking a Compliance and Quality Assurance Manager to join our growing team. The Compliance and Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring the facility remains compliant under state and local laws. A successful candidate can interpret and apply compliance requirements for various departments with previous experience monitoring, investigating, and resolving inventory and QA discrepancies.
The QA/Compliance Manager will play a key role in upgrading or developing and implementing Agronomed’s quality assurance policies and standard operating procedures. This role will include compliance, development and implementation programs, product quality tracking systems, adherence to DOH standards, product safety practices, internal and external audits. The individual will also ensure compliance with all Corporate operating procedures, security practices, insurance requirements as well as applicable federal, state, county, and municipal laws, regulations, ordinances, and regulations.
· Oversee and ensure the compliance of all aspects of the Agri-Kind cultivation and production facility
o This includes:
§ The adherence to general facility and recordkeeping compliance across all departments including scheduled and unscheduled audits
§ The adherence to all cultivation and seed to sale compliance and reporting
§ The adherence to all extraction and processing compliance aspects
§ The adherence to all security related compliance policies, procedures and regulations
§ The adherence and oversight of all SOP compliance requirements across all departments
§ The adherence to all inventory policies, procedures and audits
§ The development and adherence of all sanitation policies and procedures
· Oversee the facility's QA/QC department and ensure all employees understand and follow all standard operating procedures
· Define, implement, and improve Quality Management System including development of process and product testing to ensure quality standards are met and oversee determination of finished product disposition
· Partner with management to lead initiatives that develop and maintain a high performing, scalable, and compliant quality system
· Implement and maintain sanitation and quality control practices that ensure the safety and quality of cannabis including purity and consistency
· Review and approve decisions about whether to investigate a cannabis product complaint as well as review and approve the findings and follow-up action of any investigation performed
· Perform or oversee routine audits of compliance processes to assure accuracy and thoroughness of completion
· Prepare site for compliance readiness for any external inspections. Analyzes facility trends in survey deficient practice to assess potential areas of continued non-compliance.
· Act as site lead in supporting any external inspections
· Establish and publish monthly metrics focused on facility's current QA/QC progress.
· Routinely reviews monthly Corporate QA/QC documentation and assures that all areas of concern are addressed appropriately according to corporate policy and regulatory standards.
· Manage, train and develop compliance & QA/QC employees to perform in a proficient manner, providing motivation through personal example and interpersonal skills to create a cohesive unit.
· Promote awareness and responsibility through training and regular communication throughout the facility.
· Establish employee goals, monitor employee performance, and provide regular 1x1 performance feedback to help the employee succeed. Foster a high-performance culture through active leadership and create a strong sense of accountability within the department.
· At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a highly regulated industry (Cannabis or Alcohol preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or combination of experience and education will be considered
- Minimum of 3 years of regulatory compliance management including interfacing with regulators and inspectors
- Strong ability to effectively present information and responds to questions from senior management, function heads, managers, supervisors and all levels of employees
- SQF, ISO, GMP, ASQ, HACCP or similar certification experience a plus
- Experience in the development of a start-up or rapidly growing dynamic business environment
- Experience in statistical and analytical problem solving
- Track record of engaging teams and creating a collaborative Compliance and QA/QC culture
- Unassailable integrity and ethics
- Full understanding of commercial Cannabis business process with a solid understanding of the Medical Marijuana laws, rules and regulations and passion to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws

· Strong organizational and PC skills- MS Office 365 a must

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
